Nyroba Samradgar
Nyroba asks the Mayor, "How did this village come to be? How do you escape notice by the dark dragons and their servants? How far away are we from where you found us, and how far from the coast and from a major population center?"
'Suny'
Suny skips along with every one else. When every one comes to the remains of their equipment Suny deftly removes her bandages and puts on her silks. Thence replaces her belts and buckles. Once happy with the ay everything is settled about her person she moves to stand quietly amongst the group.
GM of Set
It first started as a refuge, those running away, soon it turned into what you see here. We arent far from the coast, 1 or two hours walk. But 2 days at least from where we found you. Closest city is a port about 2 weeks from here, but i do not suggest you go there, there seems to be an small gathering of forces there. We are at the furthest tip of the continant, very few enemy troops come this way'
Chara
Chara goes through the equipment before selecting a short sword and a rapier (+1 if I can).
Physically, what condition are we in? Have our hp been restored to full?
"Yes we need more details, then perhaps we should scout the places where the people went missing?" Charra adds while gingerly stetching and moving as she checks her injuries and how it affects her movement.
Hegron
Hegron takes his time selecting gear, going through a couple of weapons and armors, before settling on a Full Plate, a huge polearm, a Greatsword, a Sling, and a couple of Javelins.
After donning his gear, he offers a huge smile - "Now that's more like it!"
GM of Set, Hegron will take all of the above in the Masterwork variety, if not possible priority is Bardiche, Greatsword, Full Plate, Sling, Javelins.
"Find me some dried meat, something to drink and a source of light, and I am ready to go exploring those holes" - he bolsters.
Marcus Ironskin
Marcus sets and meditates a moment while everone is digging for weapons. Finally a flash of light and Bahamut's symbol appears on his forehead again.
Bahamut is with us again. I have all I need, but I will take this just in case. Marcus stands and picks up a MW Glaive-Guisarme.
I can provide light for a short time, but I prefer to scout ahead in the dark.
K. Arcana: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (8) + 8 = 16
'Suny'
Suny pokes and prods the various items on offer, eventually picking up nothing fancier than a plain staff.
Nyroba Samradgar
Nyroba sighs, realizing finally that her throughts of rejoining the armed forces of His Cupric Majesty are hopeless at the moment. "One more question if you don't mind. What is the date, and how long has it been since you found us?"
I'm assuming here that the two nations use the same calendar, or if not, Nyroba would understand the calendar of her enemy. Nyroba is just trying to find out how long it's been, so you can just tell me that.
After that, Nyroba goes looking at the equipment. Assuming her wands and ring survived, she declines to use armor, but looks through the weapons hoping to find a masterwork-quality Lucerne Hammer. Failing that, she will go for a Glaive. Any special materials -- cold iron or silver -- available? She will also find a quality Morningstar, wanting to make sure she has her God's weapon available to use, even if it's not her primary.
'Suny'
Suny stops and listens to the Mayor inform people of how long they've been 'out of the picture'.
"Gee...no wonder I feel a rumblin' in me tummy..." She says.
"Still...if'n we's been left fer dead. That might a'splain some small things..." She muses philosophically.
"Tha' Drow took tha' ones they wanted an' left tha' rest of us ta' rot. Gives us another incentive ta' get ta' tha bottom of this hole business an' go rescue tha' others, hey?" (^_^)
Hegron
"They probably were interested only in the bosses" - Hegron nods at Suny.
"Ok then, are we going to check out this place or what?" - the big man puts in - "From what I have heard and seen, I know that those that dabble in the divine or arcane may need time to prepare their magic or something like that - is that the case here, or are we ready to go?"
Then looking back at the gear available, Hegron grabs a couple of torches, a lantern and some oil, chalk, a rope, a backpack, some preserved rationswhile he grumbles something about sitting around talking instead of moving out.
Chara
Ok assuming they survived I have chalk, a waterproof hooded lantern, oil and a lot of rope and a compass. do these things also have the broken condition?
"do these creatures appear at a certain time of the day, week or month?
Lets get this over with before any more attacks happen, does anyone dissagree?"
Chara turns to the Mayor,"lead us to the asylum"
'Suny'
Suny pads along. Her bare brown feet making little if any noise. She absently rubs her midriff as people walk.
Hitoru
You are taken to a place where you can get food, also, you are given your gear. Your weapons and armor, all have the broken condition at this moment
I would say it is quite clear - we have everything and only weapons and armor are broken. GM said even said so in Discussion, I think. ;-)
Hitoru checks all his gear and prepares for the journey underground. If anybody asks he will reveal what kind of gear he has in his haversack. Check Equipment Kits spoiler in his Profile
Marcus Ironskin
The asylum it is then. Carefull all. From what the mayor told us this beast, or beasts may be invisible and may also cause madness. Harden yourselves and let Bahamut be the light that guides you.
Marcus stands at the ready.
'Suny'
Suny happily skips along with every one,
"I were hopin' ta' go by way of breakfast, me-self." Suny admits to whom ever is closest.
'Suny'
Oh aye. I dun't think it be expressly 'water' in'a water works at all, ye ken? (^_~)
Tha' place where they farm they's nuts be also my vote. (^_^)
Nyroba Samradgar
Magic is still wild at the moment, right? So spellcasting is not reliable?
Nyroba decides that casting spells won't work well anyway right now, so wearing heavier armor would be called for. She finds a well-made breastplate and a fearsome lucerne hammer to wield.
GM of Set
i will try to build a map later for the asylum, but ok. there you are
You are lead a short distance away from the town, a small hill. Old large building, bars on the blackened windows, boarded up doors, you only see the one door leading into the building, you cannot walk around due to the large walls
Hitoru
Hitoru checks the walls to find out if it is possible to climb them either right away or with the help of grapling hook and rope.
What is the time of day and weather conditions?
