Perception check
Int Check. DC20. Since you dont live here ;)

Male Halfling Swashbuckler 1

Perception: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (5) + 13 = 18
Int: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4

for some reason the dice gods just don't approve of Arim

Perception +10 || HP: 28/23

Perception: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (11) + 9 = 20
Int Check: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 2 = 16

Arim, I am sure that when the time comes, Hegron will be also missing the ones he should succeed at - melee rolls :P

Female Vishkanya Rogue (Deadly Courtesan) 5; AC 17, touch 14, flat-footed 13 (+3 armor, +4 Dex) HP 36, Fort +2, Ref +8, Will +2

Int: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7
Perception: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (13) + 9 = 22 since it might apply +2 to spot traps

On perception

DC10:

The walls are VERY smooth. And now place to hook a grapple hook. You can try to climb, but it will be almost impossible

Male Aasimar HP 78/79 (27/28temp), AC 28, Touch 16, FF 26, Fort +9 Reflex +8 WIll +13

int check: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 2 = 18
perception: 1d20 + 20 ⇒ (2) + 20 = 22

Is magic wild or ok here. Marcus is goin to try and cast mage armor.

Marcus summons up some arcane energy to put a barrier around himself.
caster level check: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (10) + 9 = 19

The walls seem to smooth I will take point. Looks like the old fashion head on attack it is.

Marcus moves to open the doors if there are no objections.

Yup. Still mad magic. Please put dc down of spell you cast. So i don't have to look if it does trigger wild surge. Thanks :-)

Int check: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (19) + 1 = 20

"Seems a little odd that these walls would be so smooth on an abandoned building."

Nyroba is next to Marcus as he goes to the doors.

LOL,

Int DC20:

thats exactly. if this is such an old building, and abandoned, then why are the walls so well kept

F Human (Mwangi) cleric (evangelist) 3/fighter 1 | HP 33/33| AC 18 T 9 FF 18 | Ft +7 Rf +0 Wi +5 | Perc +3 | Liberation 3/3 | Performance 11/11

"I'm going out on a limb here, but I don't think we'll find this building to be abandoned. Stay sharp and check your corners, soldiers."

Male Aasimar HP 78/79 (27/28temp), AC 28, Touch 16, FF 26, Fort +9 Reflex +8 WIll +13

sorry will do from now on DC 16

Marcus will take a step back and stare.

Good observation Nyroba. Not sure what it means. If I were going to keep my walls smooth to keep climbing near impossible. I would certainly trap or prepare at the only entrance. Hmm... What to do what to do.

F Human (Mwangi) cleric (evangelist) 3/fighter 1 | HP 33/33| AC 18 T 9 FF 18 | Ft +7 Rf +0 Wi +5 | Perc +3 | Liberation 3/3 | Performance 11/11

Nyroba beckons Chara and Hitoru, hoping they may be able to find a trap she wasn't.

Perception: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 2 = 12
Ausk simply covers the gorup as best he can with his new bow.

"Maybe get some rope and tie it off here? We don't have to go in right now."

Male Aasimar HP 78/79 (27/28temp), AC 28, Touch 16, FF 26, Fort +9 Reflex +8 WIll +13

how high are the walls, we are in a town, I'm sure we can find a ladder somewhere.

30ft. It's an asylum :-P

Island Elf(link)

Suny skips along with every one else. Upon coming to their destination she watches and looks around like the others.

Perception:1d20 + 11 ⇒ (4) + 11 = 15

Okeys, how 'wide' are the walls? What sort of area are they covering? Also, how many stories to the main building?

you know they are thick, but u can't tell how much. Main building, 2 stories. Unkempt grass, mostly dead, patches of ground everywhere

Island Elf(link)

Sorry, my poor (Waking up) Posting. How 'long' are the walls? Do they cordon off a square area? A long, rectangular yard? How much space would there be on the other side?

Ah. Right. Yes. Around. Yard could be about 100-150ft

Island Elf(link)

Suny comes skipping back from where she raced off to look around a corner of one of the extending walls.

"Geez...This be a pretty big place!" She explains the area indicated at by the above DM's posting. (^_^)

Male Aasimar HP 78/79 (27/28temp), AC 28, Touch 16, FF 26, Fort +9 Reflex +8 WIll +13

were there any tall buildings in town that I saw, just wondering the posibility of a 25'-30' ladder.

Male Aasimar HP 78/79 (27/28temp), AC 28, Touch 16, FF 26, Fort +9 Reflex +8 WIll +13

So I assume we have no one skilled enought to climb such a surface. If we wish to remain cautious we could get some spikes to hammer into the walls to climb, or we could just go ahead with kicking in the door, let me go see about any traps that may be about.

perception spot trap: 1d20 + 20 ⇒ (5) + 20 = 25

moved from discussion, accidently posted there.

Just a normal, locked, boarded up door. But you do hear something behind it

Island Elf(link)

Suny begins to pull some rope from some where hidden within her seemingly endless lengths of silk.

"Here..I gots this stuff..." She says absently as she brings out the rope and coils it up. Once finished she looks at every one else.

"See, when I bought this one I looked fer somthin' all magical an' what-not." She holds the coil of rope out for any one to peruse at their leisure.

"Now...when I straighten it all out an' do tha' magic thingy with it. It should give us a nice, naffy 25' pole what we can play around with." She smiles brightly.

"Clever, huh?" (^_^)

[ooc]so the boards would have to be removed as well as unlocking is this correct.[/b]

Marcus steps back again. With a hushed tone.

Seems to be something on the other side. Could be a scout of some type or just a beast/guard something or other. No way to get in quietly without scaling the wall.

Island Elf(link)

Waves magical rope, which can turn into a pole.

Male Aasimar HP 78/79 (27/28temp), AC 28, Touch 16, FF 26, Fort +9 Reflex +8 WIll +13

Great Suny. Ok so turn it into a pole. I will put my backpack on my front. Set the pole against my stomach. Hegron especially and others will slowly walk me up the wall backwards. With extending this should get me to the top. Once up I will try and secure some rope for others to climb up. Sound like a plan?

Marcus switches his pack around to supply some padding at the end of the pole.

Ok, lets do this.

Heading to doctor appt. Will check back in when I get home

Island Elf(link)

Suny gives a thumbs up and sets the rope 'straight' (Possibly getting some one else to hold the other end 'taught') hence getting the maximum 25' length out of it. Then she helps get the back pack ready as a 'cushion' to go against Marcus' midriff.

"Oh...an' I also gots some more rope here some wheres..." She adds absently, as an after thought"....Wouldn't want ta' be caught only being able ta' do a trick once." She grins mischievously. (^_^)

"What were that ye were sayin' about a noise on'a t'other side of tha' door?" She asks.

Am happy to wait fer other's ta' post an' catch up.

Male Human Fighter 6 | HP 65/65 | AC 20 FF 16 Touch 14 | CMD 24 | Initiative +6 | Fort +8, Ref +7, Will +7

I don't see how this plan could possible go wrong.

my plans work 100% of the time about 50% of the time :)

She must have mistaken me for some kind of burglar... Why should I be an expert on traps?

checking for traps
Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (18) + 6 = 24

Seeing as they are boarded, I would say it is highly unlikely that they are trapped Hopefully... But it sounds logical - at least to me.

checking the wall
Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 6 = 7
Int: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (18) + 2 = 20

Marcus, just be careful upthere - no telling what might lurk on the other side. And I recon, you will be quite visible on the wall.

I guess one does not have to be a local, to look at the sky and find out approximate time of day and weather conditions, right? ;-) Just kidding, I know you replied to the other part of my post, but the question stays - what is the time and what are weather conditions?

Sorry on that slip.
Dusk. Calm weather. A bit hot, but nothing to worry about

Island Elf(link)

Aren't we aiming for the roof of the building? I got no trouble going over the wall, jus' y'know.......

Male Aasimar HP 78/79 (27/28temp), AC 28, Touch 16, FF 26, Fort +9 Reflex +8 WIll +13

wall, we can't even see the roof. the building I think is only two stories, the wall is 30' so at the base here the building is hidden

Island Elf(link)

Ah, okeys! (^_^)

Perception +10 || HP: 28/23

"Lets go then lad!" - Hegron flexes his arms and rubs his hands - "Personnaly I would bash that door in but if you want a boost, I'll give you a boost"

Island Elf(link)

Suny helps as best she can, though her lithe frame is obviously more suited to feats of acrobatics and flexibility rather than power and 'muscle'.

Climb check. And Str checks. Those of you helping may roll Aid

Island Elf(link)

Str check, aid other:1d20 + 0 ⇒ (20) + 0 = 20

Huh, don't know me own strength, I usually take a size forty seven and a half. :P

Oopsie. Am pecking away on me phone.

D20 may help

Male Kitsune Rogue (Kitsune Trickster) 5 [ HP 34/34 | AC19 T 16 FF 14 | CMD 19 | F +2 R +9 W +3 | Init +6 | Per +9 low-light vision]

Aid Another / Str: 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (13) + 0 = 13
Hitoru cooperates in lifting the pole surprising himself that his effort actually helped.

Now just to see the actual Str test, +aid, and climb check :-P

Male Aasimar HP 78/79 (27/28temp), AC 28, Touch 16, FF 26, Fort +9 Reflex +8 WIll +13

I assume I'm just making the climb check as I'm being pushed up the wall correct? Also not sure about the aids, they are just aiding the str check not my climb, right?

Marcus focuses on trying to balance and walk his way up the wall.

climb: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (12) + 8 = 20

Now to see the main supports Str check. If it's good, you are on the wall

F Human (Mwangi) cleric (evangelist) 3/fighter 1 | HP 33/33| AC 18 T 9 FF 18 | Ft +7 Rf +0 Wi +5 | Perc +3 | Liberation 3/3 | Performance 11/11

Not sure if I am in this or not?

Island Elf(link)

Sure! Why not? Come on in! Tha' more tha' merrier! (^_^)

Male Human Fighter 6 | HP 65/65 | AC 20 FF 16 Touch 14 | CMD 24 | Initiative +6 | Fort +8, Ref +7, Will +7

I think only 2 can assist in any one check.

Female Vishkanya Rogue (Deadly Courtesan) 5; AC 17, touch 14, flat-footed 13 (+3 armor, +4 Dex) HP 36, Fort +2, Ref +8, Will +2

How far do the walls stretch on either side? Is it possible to walk around the asylum?
