You do a lot of damage to her. Yes, 2 of the bubbles were dispelled. But you do fail one save
Your weapon smashes into her, bones crack, there is a lot of bleeding, you see her howl in pain as arrows hit you. You see her fall to one knee as your own heart gives out on you, you crumble to the floor next to her

Arim, if you don't go down, you're up, otherwise Marcus. Will post again in morning. You fought valiantly people! =^^=
Arim Zeather |
Hey now, I dropped my weapon and surrendered! That's just not nice.
Fort: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 2 = 111d20 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 81d20 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 2 = 17
Arim grunts as he feels the poison take hold. He laughs as he coughs up blood "Pathetic. Won't even take a surrendering man prisoner. I hope you rot in he..." and he drops to the ground
Chara |
... and the wind, chilled by the nearby ocean, sweeps across the battlefield as the scene seems frozen in time. The Drow with their evil glares on the heros that still fight valiently for their own survival, while the spirits of the fallen silently watch ... and hope ...
just adding some drama :P ...
Marcus Ironskin |
Sorry all parents came to visit for the holiday weekend, should have given you the heads up. Looks like we are supposed to be captured here :)
Marcus watches the hail of arrows drop all his allies as finally two manage to pierce his resistances.
Fort Save: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (13) + 8 = 21
Fort Save: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (2) + 8 = 10
As the second arrow finds its way home Marcus feels a moment of peace as his eyes close and he slumps to the ground.

What gave you that idea? :P
The priestess groaned as healing magic flowed through her, her almost mortal wounds gone in a matter of moments
She looked around and motioned something with her hands
Find anyone trying to escape, your priestesses will point them out!
Those that lead the groups, their eyes began to glow and they searched for anyone trying to use tricks to hide
Traskdar, you are up, but so you know, True Seeing is now being used. Want to say how they find you? or should I? =^^=
GM of Set |
4 Groups, they bolt after you, the Priestess in front, guiding their arrows toward you
Reducing their "to hit" also only a 25% to hit you

You are the luckiest guy here, plus, cinematic appropriate dice
As you run, hundreds of arrows fly past your invisible form, just as you think you have cleared the hail, a single lucky arrow hits you, in a very painful area, sticking out of your front
'Suny' |
(O_o)
That's a lot of arrows...
At least Traskdar got to do some fighting in the shade. :P
GM of Set |
Ya I think this is a PCK thing. Kind of the reason I tried to surrender lol. 40 drow, even all lv 1 (which I don't think they are) would completely overwhelm us
my dear Arim, those 40 that attacked were just attacking cause they were the closest to the fleeing half orc. you were surrounded by 150 drow, each lead by a priestess. ;)
Traskdar |
Assuming I need a fort save
Fortitude: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (18) + 7 = 25
If I either didn't need one or managed to make it I drink my formulae of expeditious retreat and continue sprinting away. If I failed then I face plant in the mud and slide 15 ft on my invisible face.
GM of Set |
As you wake, you realize it's dark, you are tied down, you cannot move your arms or legs. You hear other people talking, but very faint, also, you hear movement around you. You also realize, you don't have normal clothes on, perhaps bandages, perhaps robes, you do not know. One more thing.... magic is not stable. It's surging wildly
i guess for the one who deaf, this must be a bit more troublesome. Dark, but even those with DV can't see. Either blindfolded, or its deeper darkness
'Suny' |
Bluff:1d20 + 3 ⇒ (15) + 3 = 18

Nyroba Samradgar |
If no one stops her, Nyroba will continue to try to break the bonds. 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (12) + 4 = 16
1d20 + 4 ⇒ (20) + 4 = 24
1d20 + 4 ⇒ (19) + 4 = 23
(No luck, I assume?)
GM of Set |
You manage to slip your blindfold off. You are in a dim lit building. Around you, your fellow companions are all tied down. What you can see, looks like mineral shackles keep you all in place on steel beds. Medical equipment can be seen around the room. Not very high quality equipment, more a mix from high to low equipment. You can hear voices outside, but the walls and door muffler them too much
'Suny' |
Bluff:1d20 + 3 ⇒ (15) + 3 = 18

Assuming a high perception number, am happy re-reading Nyroba's stuff. (^_^)
Marcus Ironskin |
couple questions. Did they beat my edilon away while I was out or is it with me? If he is not with me does it feel like my daylight is back? I mean have we been out days or hours? How are spell lika abilities treated in the wild magic area's say if I use my summon ability? Thanks
Marcus will struggle trying to wiggle the blindfold off.
escape artist: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 2 = 12 don't get the +2 if not fused.
Arim Zeather |
Arim wakes up, trying to get a grasp on his surroundings. After a moment he closes his eyes Stay calm... but those around him can see and him hear breathing quicker, as if he's starting a panic attack
Escape Artist: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11
After a moment he stops trying to get out of his bonds, then says loudly "Is anybody else here?!" Like I'd be able to find out anyways
Yes imagine having no senses available to you except taste, touch, and smell. I guess he's focusing on those right now
GM of Set |
@Ausk Even if you did, wont matter. Mithral Shackles. Look the up if you want ;)
Arim, you do manage to get the blindfold off. As you speak, the door finally opens, and the rest of you hear the following conversation
WHAT?! You left them bound?! What if they wake up?! A thud echoes through the room
AHG! Im sorry mayor Goral, but we had to restrain them for the procedure! The moment their heart kicked in, they started thrashing about, one of the doctors was almost killed as he was flung across the room!
I dont care, once they were saved and you were sure, you should have atleast removed the restraints... Wait... I just heard someone speak!
Footsteps seem to rush in, then one by one the blind folds were removed, and 2 other people entered, 1 female elf, and one male dwarf, they began to unshackle you
I am so sorry for my staff! They were only trying to help! Im so glad you survived, we thought you were all dead. Took us 2 days to make sure you were alive, that first day was almost the end of the whole lot of you! he pauses for a moment Pardon my rudeness, I am Goral, Mayor of this small hidden town
Ausk Swiftstrike |
Ausk looks at the group of people who 'supposedly' rescued them.
Wonder who the elf is, and why is this town hidden?
Ausk waits until being freed before speaking, and looks around at who else is in the room.
"Where are my weapons, and where is the paladin who led us?"
Marcus Ironskin |
Am I bound enough so I can't shoot my leg restraints with acid splash? or can I even do the signs for acid splash? If I summon a magman elemental do I think its lava could melt the bonds or is it just fire damage? I could summone some other elementals to deal with the voices outside, but I think we need to get free first. Mineral shackles? what type would an earth elemental be able to manipulate them in any way? I know its a stretch :)

We're currently being freed, so maybe wait on the whole burning them to the ground (until we find out where the gold is).
Hitoru |
Another happy morning. In the light of the recent events probably the happiest morning ever.
Hitoru checks all the limbs and other parts of his body to make sure nothing is broken or damaged.
Nyroba Samradgar |
Which of them unshackles Nyroba, or do both work together?
As the newcomers work to release them, Nyroba focuses her mind, giving herself the freedom to cast spells without risking a wild surge. One use of Dragon Ward, 4/5 remaining. She uses the power of her god to peer into these people's souls, determining whether they are corrupted by the darkness.
If either is evil, she will attack as soon as she is freed. If neither is evil, she will attempt to grapple the dwarf if he is one of the ones freeing her, otherwise she will grapple the elf.
Attack or Grapple: 1d20 ⇒ 18+7 if attacking, using power attack for a total of 25 (growing claws as free action) or +8 if Grappling for a total of 26.
damage if attacking: 1d4 + 8 ⇒ (1) + 8 = 9
If she grapples successfully, CMD/DC to escape or control the grapple is 25. "Don't make a sound, either of you! I'll let you go once I'm satisfied this isn't a trick or a trap," she growls. Her next round action will be to Pin the dwarf. Grapple: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (15) + 13 = 28 Once the dwarf is pinned, she will look around the room for any other threats, and explain herself in terse, angry words. "I have no reason to think this isn't a Drowish trick. You don't seem evil to me, but there are ways to hide that, or you might be otherwise compromised. What the f+~* is going on here?"
