"Well there are multiple stages, so there aren't really any bad seats, but we'd like to get one closer to the stage for Fly Free. They're by far the best performers. So it won't be easy getting a seat near their stage."

Jim works steadily, lifting the heavy lights into place with ease, and utilizing his Jetpack when necessary to make sure all of the lighting is perfect.

"Hi! Are you ready to go? Saffire is all dressed and everything," she said, smiling cheerfuly.

"Thank you," she said, beaming at him. "I, uh, have to admit I'm not really much of a music lover. I mean, not that I don't like music...I jsut know almost nothing about it. So I guess I enjoy everyone's music equally cause I don't know any better."
"I don't think there is anything to know about music, actually. Music is like, uh, dawn or something. You don't have to understand it to enjoy it." Michael takes her hand and gently pulls her through the crowd, looking for a good spot. If he had ever been to one of these concerts before, it probably would have helped.

Sure enough, Fly Free is the first band to step on stage.
"A moment of silence for those who decided not to come back, for whatever reason they may have had." Taron calls out. The whole room goes quiet for one moment, then two, before Taron looks up again. "Let's get this party started!"
The atmosphere changes instantly, with cheers and a few boos filling the air as Fly Free starts playing.
"It's a simple question really...

Strangely, the question seems to hold power, and a lot of people start calling out that their in.

"Better than I was expecting," she admitted, smiling a little bit in spite of herself. At least until one of the other students 'accidentally' shoved her, nearly knocking her over. She gritted her teeth and forced herself not to respond. She couldn't afford to make a scene so soon after having her ban on extracurricular activites lifted.
Catches Nala, and sets her gently into her seat, and shoots a look at the student that "bumped" her
"That will not happen again. Do you understand me?" he growls at the student.

He takes his seat next to hers.

Michael moves a little in time to the music, but he refrains from making a fool of himself by dancing... for now.
Vai is seated near the back, listening to the music. She was trying to stay away from the crowds. She knew Ephebe would be performing, and she was also looking around the room for Nasima, but was otherwise avoiding contact.

She laughed. "Well you've obviously never tried to sneak into one of their rehearsals or you wouldn't be surprised at the idea of them as a secret club," she said lightly, neatly avoiding the question about why they might have chosen that particular song.
Sits backstage, in ehtereal form, all but invisible listening to the band and watching out for his friends.
"You've obviously never seen my ability to sneak into places I've never been." Alton replies as he watches the band thoughtfully. "I have a question, and it may change how you treat me from now on. I'll leave it up to you if you want me to ask."

Vakkler patrols the crowd, scowling. He assigns detentions to all those being too noisy--usually just lines, though he hands out harsher punishments to the students who unwisely choose to complain.
