"Hello, Vai. Nice to meet you." He smiles, which is hard for a kobold...but no less genuine. "What an odd time to be transferred here. I promise, it's not usually this...dangerous, or exciting."

"She is?" she exclaimed happily. "I was starting to worry that she'd left for good this time."
"Nasima is my roommate," she explained to Vai, "and a good friend. But we haven't seen much of each other lately."
"Nice to meet you, Ryuzo," she said, with a smile, though she felt a little bit of misgiving. It was hard to know where you stood with the Champion of Deception.

"Not a clue. They seemed to be some weird cross between construct and undead. They certainly fit in with the sort of monsters we've been dealing with of late, but there's no proof they're from the same source."

Looks at Alton for what seems just a second too long. He felt an itch in the back of his head, and didn't know why, but only when he looked at Alton...he shook his head, and filed it away for later..
"Interesting. What would you call something like that? Biomechanical engineering? For someone to animate a body with no necromancy involved is quite a feat. To make them pull themselves back together is an even bigger one. Are there any remains left?" Alton asks, curiosity in his eyes. "I would love to know how they work."
"I didn't keep any bits, but I'll bet either Mrs. Sunwake or Solivala have a sample. It's right in their area of study."

"Probably, although they might be pretty busy with clean-up. Especially considering this," she said, wiping a hand across the surface of the floor which was covered with a fine grey dust. "This wasn't here a few minutes ago, and I'm pretty sure this level of dust means that the security cloud crashed during the attack. We went through a few of these crashes when Mom was first developing the system. The dust gets into everything."
"This dust is lots of tiny dead robots? Neat."
Alton stares at the dust for a moment before producing a tiny plastic pouch and putting a pinch of the dust in it.
"Tiny robots or not, you never know when it might be useful." He explains, putting the pouch away.
Enre listens as the others speak about the zombie things and wonders to himself "Wonder why they attacked." He than looks at the dust around everything wondering "This is little robots? How ever odd."

"Hello," he says to all, bowing quickly. "Has...anyone else encountered metal-infused people in the school...?"
Jim comes flying past, still large, and now traveling at about 20 feet per second, following the orb to Aananda. As he sees that none of these beings are zombies, he gives a friendly wave on his way past, nearly hitting the ceiling on his way past.
After several minutes of racing around the school and not finding any more of the fleshmetal men, Fei comes upon the cluster of students in the hall.
"Hello," he says to all, bowing quickly. "Has...anyone else encountered metal-infused people in the school...?"
"We encountered a few dozen in the basement, but they have been neutralized."
"I said I'd been asked, not that I was going too. I'm strange for a firebird in that I rarely feel like been flashy with fire. Well, big and flashy anyway." He thinks for a moment. "Tell you what, I'll do the pyrotechnics if you dance with during one of Fly Free's songs. I have it on good authority that one of them will be a slow song, so you should be able to keep up with me.""Refined details are hard," she said with a grimace. She laughed. "Madame will absolutely have kittens if she sees me using classical ballet training to dance to rock music. Which makes the offer irresistibly tempting. Sure, why not? And don't worry, speed is not a problem for me," she added with a wink.

"Well...I guess the only way to test that theory is to try to be more myself with everyone and see if people start remembering me," she said, nervously. "But that's really, really scary," she added in a rush.
"Do - do you think that Professor Ormarr would be willing to teach me about caring for animals? That sounds like a lot more fun than being a ninja," she said, twisting her hair. The more nervous she felt, the more her tail started twitching too. Saffire was starting to eye it like he was planning to pounce. "Sneaking around and getting information about stuff and getting into places I don't belong...it's just not really me. But it's what my family does, so I tried really, really hard...."
"Well...I guess the only way to test that theory is to try to be more myself with everyone and see if people start remembering me," she said, nervously. "But that's really, really scary," she added in a rush.

"Perhaps we should dress appropriately?" He suggests. "Spiked hair, ripped sleeves, chains on our pants, way too costume make-up..."

Actually I think more like an iridescent white body stocking with glittery flames on it in different colors. I should be able to easily modify my costume from last year's recital to look like that. And cast a few anti-fire enchantments on it. I may have fire resistance, but that doesn't really help if my clothes burn off."

Actually I think more like an iridescent white body stocking with glittery flames on it in different colors. I should be able to easily modify my costume from last year's recital to look like that. "Don't worry, I'll have a darkness spell ready just in case."
