| Vai Emkar |
As Vai floats above the crowd, she starts to feel like she could feel her own wings, almost as if they were curled up inside her. Don't resist it. That's what Aananda said. Very slowly, Vai allows her wings to spring free, still inside the illusory wings. A smile spreads on her face as she sees other students doing aerial tricks. She tentatively attempts a few swoops, almost crashing into Nasima on the way past. A little worried someone will see her, Vai sinks back to the ground and pulls her wings back in, the clothes folding back over.

Speak of the devil, a little slurk climbs out of his pack and onto his head. The kobold ignores Slarrow, turning to the former student.
Who wants to bet it's Bradley? ;)
"Slurk duty, tomorrow night."
Because it's always Bradley...proving that you can actually walk around with less than a 3 Wisdom. ;P
| Ryuzo Kato |
She sighed. And things had been going so well too.
"Don't go thinking that I'm a nice person or I was coerced or that there were mitigating circumstances. I was tricked, but that's not the same thing. I'll tell you later if you want. Just don't go expecting to like what you hear," she said sullenly.
He smiles
"I'll make my own judgements, Nala. We have a clean slate, you and I, as I said what's done is done. I'm not asking for you to justify your actions, I'm just concerned about an enemy that may surface, that's all."| Kitty Tanaka |
Totally betting it's Bradley!
"Come on! You need to get airborne before the performance is over!" Michael says as he hugs Kitty tightly and flies back up into the air.
Kitty shrieked a little in surprise and then laughed in delight. "Wow, this is the best. I never knew flying was so much fun!"

Nala looked confused. She had no idea what to make of this guy. He didn't do anything like she expected. She was usually so good at predicting behavior, but right now she was totally off balance.

Yeah, well, I'm sure it'll be over when she learns he's a were-mole, so...
He chuckles at her confusion and gives her hand a gentle squeeze.

Pfft. She has a 'kid' who's an ooze created by a magical accident, you think that she's going to freak out about a little thing like shapeshifting? :P
She blushed a little bit, but didn't pull her hand away.

She may not realize it, but her frankness and tactless nature is actually refreshing to Ryuzo. Growing up in a ninja clan of zoanthropes he could never take anything at face value. Now being the champion of deception, even less so. This might not actually be a bad match.
She's made comments about monsters in the school and such, so I thought maybe she'd have a problem with him being one of them :P

Her definition oif monster is different than most. She'd qualify as a monster herself by the standard definition. :)
So far they are hitting it off surprisingly well.

"Flying is pretty cool, huh?" He replies.
"Definitely. I wish we could do this every day!" she said, laughing at Saffire as he pounced on another illusion. "And Saffire is already getting so much better at flying from just a little practice."
| Filne Nathton |
Filne looks at the cage then back at the teacher.
"I cant turn him back at this moment. Magic is not a switch you know. Anyways whats so bad about being a frog, he eats a fly or two. Personally I think your making to much about it. If he kept on he could have crashed into someone or into an object which would have caused an injury to himself or others. Being turned into a frog is better then a broken neck in my book. Anyways look around."
A number of flying students had quickly stopped being so reckless, more then a few glancing at the elven teacher.
"I got plenty of room in here and they know it. I think results speak for themselves."
Hey I did warn them, not like being a frog is torture. ;)
| Vakkler Relkav |
Vakkler scowls. "First, a broken neck is actually much more effective as a deterrent than any enchantment. Second, casting any spell upon a student you cannot immediately remove is stupid and reckless. Third, as a new teacher, you should not presume to understand how this school works. Fourth, any injuries could be near-instantly dispelled, whereas this spell apparently cannot be. Fifth, results do not speak for themselves when the methods are the problem. Sixth, speaking in this manner to a pair of teachers who've been around much longer than yourself is unwise. Seventh, being transformed into a frog is equivalent to being chained to a wall. Eighth, the student risks losing his sentience while a frog, if you're using the spell I think you're using, and even kobold court would regard that as a cruel and unusual punishment. And that's a very rare verdict in kobold court. Ninth, the odds of breaking a neck are very low. And tenth, do not think to know more than I do of discipline."
*Takes a deep breath*

Miss Jones glared at Filne disapprovingly.
"Professor Relkav is entirely correct. Hand over that cage at once so that I can take Bradley to the first aid tent. Hopefully they have a scroll or two of break enchantment on hand. Honestly, you're not fit to be an educator. A hold person would have been more than sufficient. Esepcially on Bradley."

Vakkler seems a bit disoriented, as if he isn't used to any fellow teachers agreeing with him. Then he shrugs and nods.
I don't imagine that Wisdom score makes for a good will save, no. XD| Filne Nathton |
"I doubt if Mr.Relkav is correct on a number of things. But more to the point you have no spellcaster I am aware of that can break thru my spells. He will remain a frog for a while, he is in no danger of anything. This little cage dispite appearances is immune to nearly all forms of damage or tampering. Next time I will simply shrink him, for now he is a frog. By the time he has to go to bed he will be restored. I promise."
Filne shook his head.
"Honestly you have a school full of students with exceptional abilities but you treat them as if normal methods will be effective. Tell me really how many repeat offenders do you have, have your so called punishments stopped them, or better yet do they even respect you or rather who backs you."
He makes it a point to look at the kobold.
"After the event is over I will be sure to speak to the Headmaster so he can clearify the way things are done for me. I suggest you stop wasting your time on me and pay attention to your duties."
He nods over to some pack members who seem to be smuggling something alive deeper into the crowd. They spot the elf looking and shuffle along faster. Filne lets a bemused look creep on to his face, he was not going to do anything about those students or what they were bring.
Geez like he is the first teacher to turn a student into a frog or something. I recall someone turning a teacher into an undead but did they get any heat nope not none. Picking on Filne cause he is new. XD
| Vakkler Relkav |
Vakkler seems close to exploding. He spends a long moment struggling with himself.
Finally, he nods. "Alright, Filne. I don't know what arrangement you have with the Headmaster, so I've no right to criticize your methods based off what little I know of you. Your apparent lack of a working brain is doubtless known to the Headmaster, and I'm sure he has his reasons. Perhaps he wished to boost my self esteem."
He bows to Ms. Jones. "I suggest we contact the Headmaster after the concert. Good day."
He turns and strides over to the students. The kobold reaches up and taps the nearest one on the shoulder.
"Come, you three. My silver bolts need polishing. Afterward, you can explain what you hoped to accomplish. Five thousand times. On the chalkboard."
| narrator |
Miss Jones looked at him coldly. "Well, then, you can explain to his poor worried sister exactly what happened to Bradley. We're here to help these students, not traumatize them. At least try to remember what it felt like to be alive," she snapped before heading back into the crowd to kep order.
Filne:
| Filne Nathton |
Filne has not met him so he is not aware of him. IC knowledge people. ;)
Filne cast a quick spell on the frog, he seems to stare at nothing for a moment.
"No wonder they have townsfolk come knocking. Does anyone know how to keep a secret around here anymore. How I miss the good old days, the young take so much for granted. Touchy about every little thing that does not matter then brushing off important stuff, I remember when......."
He keeps mumbling to himself as he goes back to his rounds. Letting the cage dangle from his hand. He points to another student who was picking on a younger student. Lefting the cage as a warning.

Jeran's hands gripped the two troublemakers tightly on the back of their necks, allowing their would-be prey to get away. Jaiye and Albin, of course.

Vakkler draws himself to his full three-foot-three-inches height. "All occurring in my school concerns me, Darkclaw. I was going to lead those two to detention. If it's so important that they stay, all three of you can join me at slurk duty tomorrow night. Jeran smiled. Actually this worked out well. Albin might panic and do something stupid if he had to face the slurks alone. With Jaiye and himself there, the wererat should be able to rebuild some of his lost confidence which would hopefully lead to less of these stupid stunts.

LOL! Let's see what pops through the floor and tries to kill everyone, first, since maybe that'll satisfy his need for trouble. Nasima's too terrified of boys to be much of a flirt right now, anyway. Michael does seem awful sweet, though... >_>
