Description: Vai stands at about 5'4, weighing 120lbs. She sports a pair of piercing blue eyes, chest length blonde hair. One would say she was pretty except that upon closer inspection, her skin appears to almost be scaly or at very least, dry and rough. Her hair is usually let down, with some of it covering her face. She wears simple clothing, usually of either brown or black colouring.
Personality: Vai is extremely withdrawn and shy. A bit paranoid and anti-social, Vai spends quite a bit of time alone, muttering to herself or scratching at various things (her body, notebooks, clothing, etc).
Background:
Background: Vai lived in a rather removed settlement. A settlement which had a rather disguisting tradition; virginal sacrifices. Every year, a girl would be selected from the town, someone no older than 16, and be placed on a slab outside of town for their "deity" to come and claim.
The deity was in fact a blue dragon of considerable power, named Aegathrax, who took the girls for his experiments. Experiments of a less-than-savoury nature, one which would often leave the girls dead or simply gone, their minds having fled the horrors their bodies were enduring.
Vai was one such sacrifice, put up for Aegathrax on the eve of her 16th birthday, and taken. The dragon's nefarious experiments tortued Vai, but she somehow found the courage to keep living. This pleased Aegathrax, for never had his subjects lived so long. He considered her a success, though kept experimenting on her, eager to push her to her limit. Eventually, she discovered that the dragon had infused her with some of his own power.
Vai's salvation finally came, in the form of an attack on the dragon's hideout by members of the Resistance. Aegathrax was forced to flee, but is still at large. The Resistance found Vai half-dead from the most recent experiments, and, not knowing what else to do, contacted Tamrin and sent her to Avalon.
Special abilities include:
-Ability to grow dragon-like aspects, including claws, wings, teeth, and rarely, turning into a full-fledged blue dragon herself.
-A breath-weapon. A line of electricity.
-Spellcasting abilites (these are somewhat limited, as she's afraid of her power).
