I got it when I got hurt kinda bad and he helped fix me with this machine and put the machine thing in my head. And a think a week ago, Fei kinda blew up and when he helped put him back together, he gave him a machine thing too. I've had mine for longer, but I think his is more complicated. Or he just uses it more. Either way, it works kinds like the tablet things you guys have. I can get messages from those and send them. It's pretty helpful, but sometimes I can't help but feel... weird about having it. I dunno. And a have no idea like how it works, just like what I can do with it."
He does his best to explain, but he doesn't fully get most of the whole story and it's not like it's simple to start with.

Kitty sighed. "Michael, you know I love you too. Which doesn't in any way change the fact that sometimes the way you think can be so backwards. Just don't put me on some kind of pedestal or treat me like I'm delicate and can't handle things. I mean it. We're at our best working together. I need to know that you trust me to handle it when things go wrong. Because they will. That's how life works. I lost a lot of confidence in myself because of this attack. Ginni giggled. She sank into a chair with relief as they reached the waiting room. It wasn't just the hooves. Her whole body ached from the forced transformation. She winced as she accidentally smashed one of her now much bigger wings on the back of the chair. "Oof. I really hope that that info on succubi is correct and I can learn how to shapechange too. At least enough to wear shoes and not bang myself up on chairs. But not enough to change into a rhinoceros. That definitely doesn't sound like my style," she joked.

"Not outwardly, no," Jaiye agreed. "But it's a fair point. She needs to have regular minders. The rest of us need to go to classes and do homework and all of that stuff. To be honest, I don't think Jeran expected this to go on for so long when he agreed to be her guardian. But there hasn't been a single attack or kidnapping attempt for days."

Pausing only for James to engage another telepathic 'collective' for the team, the young monk does his best to get the others moving with purpose towards Building 2.
As the rest of the team arrives outside of Building 2, neither Elektra nor Ghalen are in direct view...but a loud commotion is coming from somewhere inside.

Out of all of those, nesting robots sounds the most likely, to me at least. And I haven't seen Renkai in like a week. But I have seen Mel with robot guy. Quite a bit. If Renkai is still around anywhere, robot guy is probably in some real trouble."
As he tends to do when he's bored and has extra magic, he starts silently producing playing cards, starting with seeing if he could will the cantrip to make face cards with Dave and Andromeda featured, namely the King of Diamonds and the Queen of Clubs.
"Keys are fun, but they aren't easy to learn. I've always been good with my hands, but I had a couple years where I had... let's say a lot of free time and I put a lot of it towards learning piano. Then once you know that, you can play pretty much anything with keys."
He starts making the other simple number cards, still paying attention to the other two.
"I did meet a girl named Janie who plays drums, but because Doms been so busy, we haven't been able to meet up and audition her. As much as I like Dom, he hasn't been very available since he started dating the elf girl. Maybe we should find someone else on upper strings and backup vocals."
"If you're a dancer, percussion should come fairly easily. Sense of rhythm is the most important part there. Then the rest is manipulation skill."

He continues turning cards over, ten every minute until a little over five minutes have passed and he has a full deck that he binds up with a rubber band from somewhere in all his bracelets.
"Wouldn't expect you to join up with no experience." He laughs a little, good naturedly. "Ya, we aren't much of a band yet. But we're working on it. Still fairly early in the school year."
He tosses the deck of cards to Dave to check out. "I think I learned it last week from a guy in my crafting class. Just a fun pass time. Obviously it's made for cheating at cards, but making them is more fun for me."
He chuckles and looks down "that's just like you to repurpose something like that."
Hearing that Phoenix was hurt, but not wanting to rush head long into an unknown situation, Ardiente asks ::"What should we do Boss? Are there other entrances we can come through, to flank or surround the enemy from?"::

Sil nods in agreement with the girls "I do believe a day care for little ones would be appropriate. While physically she is probably too old, we have all just said she is far too young mentally to be on her own. Were this someplace other than Avalon, I would think there might be an issue convincing those in charge to accept Cho. However, that is not the case, and I am confident they will not only allow her to join, but likely be able to assist her growth far more than we. After all, we are all still learning and growing ourselves."
