As Fei goes about attempting to communicate with the bugs, Ardiente looks to Jiminy "What can I do in the meantime boss?"
"You can do aerial surveillance. Until we know more about these things, we need to keep them contained. I don't want another repeat of the plague we just had to deal with. If they try to leave the buildings, let us know and we can hit them with as much as we can. And any information if they start doing something different is useful."
"Jeran, you do the same thing on the ground. They'll have a harder time getting past you than anyone else."
Adon Derro |

adon seems... a little distant, to say the least.
"The stuff that's mostly supposed to be off limits is over..."
adon points off, in a direction that leads through some bookshelves.
"There. I'd imagine ancent fey texts would be.., somewhere near there."

Ghalen Kiln |

"Thanks," she said, relaxing as she no longer had to worry about flashing her teammates. She shrugged. "Modesty is a really big deal among firebirds. We've got so many cultural taboos we have to keep lists," she added with a grin of her own. "Can't go breaking all of those at once. We just can't handle it."
"Well, we certainly can't have that, now can we?"
He looks over at Jiminy. "Anything you need us doing at the moment as well?"

"Well, I have heard of these magic rooms in the school, ones that can make whatever kind of room you want... Maybe we could use those to make a hot mud bath or a space for us to play balloon ball, that or perhaps we could swing by the care of magical creature room and see if we can find something suitable for a pet, all I ask is that we can swing by my room so I can get a schoolbook"

Djalos Tyon |

Djalos swipes his fingers across his metal cufflink, then nods. "As the information about the fey sections is about how dangerous they are and how students should not approach them, with no indication of where they are, I say we follow Adon. He has experience here."

Jacob Forgehand |

Reminder: Jacob is nibbling on cookies in Ephebe's office, waiting to talk with her.

Silinrul |

Silinrul will give Jai a brotherly hug of support as she leaves, then heads over to where Cho is playing with the animals he summoned. "So, Morrivan, as you saw, I have druidic powers" Flexes his insect wings, which he is still getting used to "And apparently these wings are due to my being half-fae. Which means I can never go back to the tribe Jaiye and I are from. What brings you to this school?" In the week since his arrival, the shaman learned that Avalon was a haven for children and young adults who had out of control or 'scary' powers and abilities.

Fei, of the Sun Soul |

As long as he makes physical contact with the building itself, that should be sufficient to connect with the nanites in the computer. They can basically make a direct line to him that way, thus overriding the communication jamming.
Fei's nanites show a consistent power draw into a back room of assembly 1 over the past few days. There is still a power draw to that particular room, but now most of the power is being diverted to assembly 2.
Fei places a hand on the wall of the building, his nanosuit partially transforming to cover that arm. After a few seconds, he is able to reestablish communication with the nanites he left in the computer system here.
:: It looks like the bugs are responsible for the activity in Assembly 2 :: the young monk broadcasts over the commmunal telepathic link. :: There is a significant transfer of power there from this building. However, there is also power being routed to one of the back rooms in Assembly 1. ::

"Stand by for the moment. I'm not sure if this is going to turn violent, and I'd like to have all hands on deck if it does. I'm hoping we can find a peaceful resolution. I've had enough apocalypses this week already," he added with a sigh.

"They have a class about caring for magical creatures?" she asked, her eyes lighting up. "Oh, that sounds wonderful! And I know about those rooms. They have one in the elementary wing too, but it has to only be used when a teacher is present to supervise," she said, rolling her eyes.

Sadie shrugged. It wasn't exactly a surprise that Adon had been wandering the library looking for information about his anti-magic in increasingly obscure places. "Sure," she said. "I have a feeling there's no way to actually make a wrong turn in here. The library has a way of taking you where you need to be. Kind of like the school that way."

"Welcome to the club," she said with a sad smile. "I'm also here for a culturally inappropriate power. My tribe has rules about women and bending. I don't follow the rules. So I can't go home again. Not that there's anything for me there anymore," she added looking away abruptly as she blinked back tears. "I'm a water bender," she added, her voice thick from holding back tears. "A really, really good one."

"Yes, you are definitely soothing and calming. Much greatness has been done or created during the hours of darkness. That said, anything I should do for you now? Or just continue to go about my classes, and when possible, spread the word of how awesome you are?"
At this point, Serrin's room is rather organized, so she dismisses her shadowy friend, and grabs one of her favorite books to study.

Hey Lyn, the girls never responded to my question/worry about Phaez
Ace gives Ginni a hug "Hey, no need to get down on yourself. If Phaezriel can have a pretty good life as a redeemed Quasit, you can totally have at least as good a life as a Succubus."

"Understood. Attempting to establish contact now."
Fei sends a series of mental commands to his nanites which will transmit various 'hails' on open frequencies through the factory's communication network to see if the bugs will respond.

After some cuddle time with each other with the children...
"Well, let's go talk to my master. Let's see if he has any insight into this madness..."
::Master, my wife and I would like to talk with you...::

narrator |
How widespread is knowledge and acqusision of bending? Would Sil know about it?
Not that widespread. It's possible that he might have heard of it, but given the insular nature of lycan society, probably not. I don't think he's actually come into contact with any benders so far during his few days at Avalon.

And with that the voice was gone.

There wasn't anything to say. They're as in the dark as Ace is. Nobody knows right now if Phaeze is going to pull through okay, and if so how long it'll take. You pretty much get shrugs and worried looks.
Ginni laughed, but there wasn't any humor in it. "Greater succubus. There's a big difference. A normal succubus wouldn't have messed up Phaezeriel so bad," [I]she said, wracked with guilt over what her demon side had done.

Phaedra Svarog |

Cindra nods along with Lucas' words, "If you want to look at the magical creatures, I can come along, then after Lucas goes, we can go use the sim room."
"Yes, please!" Phaedra said, bouncing with sheer excitement, quite the change from her earlier dejection. "Come on! Let's go!" she said, practically dragging the others with her in her hurry to leave the cafeteria and see the magical creatures.

Focusing on that single frequency, the young monk tries to open a very basic form of dialogue, acting as if he was part of the computer system of the facility.

Kryshyykilli'vkk. And yes, I had to look up the spelling myself. :P
The being looked at him with sad eyes and nodded.

Djalos also continues forward, his head always affixed in the same direction.
Good grief, I should hope so! Let's not go reenacting exorcist here! ;P
They continued to walk past bookcases, eventually the metal shelves giving way to wood again. Eventually they came to a section where it appeared that the wooden shelves were in fact still alive, with branches and leaves coming off of them and everything.
"Somehow I think we're getting close," Sadie said, glancing around. "Fey are supposed to be pretty nature oriented right?"

Morrivan |

Silinrul looks a little lost "What's a 'water bender'? Never heard of that before."
Morrivan looked blank for a moment. "Oh. Yeah, I forgot that not everybody knows about benders," she said sheepishly. "Hmm. It's easier to show rather than tell," she continued, pulling the canteen she carried slung over her shoulder forward and popping off the top, drawing the water out and manipulating it as she moved it through the air in different shapes. "This is obviously just a small demonstration. I can do this with much bigger quantities of water should I need to. I can even pull water vapor out of the air if I'm desperate. But it at least gives you an idea. Different elements have different bending styles, too. This is just what water bending looks like."
She smiled as Cho started to chase the water as it moved through the air, and did her best to keep the game going, keeping the water just out of reach of the giggling girl.
