Tamina wrote:"Nothing in life is without risk. "I just don't know If I can risk my sister like this. I doubt I could convince you to go somewhere else so it's worth the risk of my own life to be near you. But I think I should convinced Mel to transfer back to that other school." He sobberly told her.
"Okay, first of all, I'm going to do you a huge favor right now and never tell Melody you just said that. Second, Mel can take care of herself pretty well. It was Mel who saved me back there, so don't underestimate your little sister. Third, like you have any say in what Mel does...she's your sister not your pet. And fourth, being somewhere that has their heads stuck in the sand about the facts that we're at war...that's not safer. Not in the long run. At least here she can learn how to better take care of herself and will be around people that will help her when she needs it."

Phaezeriel's thoughts are the calm, gentle tone of one who is used to dealing with patients who are experiencing trauma; not patronizing in the least, just very calm and compassionate, ::I see. I am sorry, Kitty, that you experienced such an event. I can assure you that whoever attacked you was an imposter. Michael was here when I arrived, and that was within the first few minutes of this temporary infirmary being in the cafeteria.::
Phaezeriel looks about the cafeteria briefly to gauge the number and severity of the remaining wounded, ::I am sorry that I cannot ease your injuries entirely, but if you are still hurting tomorrow, please find me and I will do so then.::
"But...what I saw was so real....how can someone have imitated Michael so convincingly? Every time I close my eyes, I just keep seeing it over and over again," she croaked, tears still streaming down her face. "I don't want it to be real. It feels like a bad dream. I want it to just be a bad dream...so how do I stop seeing it?"

Ace lowers his staff after Renkai runs off. "Shadow double, phasing. Neat tricks. Might need to learn them." the young man thinks to himself.
He turns around and hugs Ginni tight "Sorry love, just really wound up and intent after everything that's gone on today. I'll tell all about it later."
Looking around, he asks "Has anybody seen Kitty? I had planned to go check on her at the animal hospital but got distracted by far more pressing matters."
"It's alright. On some level, it makes me happy to know that you'll go to such lengths to protect me," she said with a sheepish smile.
"I was trying to help Melody. Kai got hurt defending her and she feels crazy guilty about it, but when I found Kai, well....he's totally gone off the deep end. Normally I can't hear his thoughts at all, but now...it was like he was constantly shouting about how he was going to murder everything...I'm not sure he's good for Melody, to be honest."
"No, I haven't seen Kitty. But that doesn't mean she isn't around. It's kind of hard to keep track of people in this mess...."

"Why are you standing on your hands?" Rena says curiously, before shrugging and trying it herself.

She manages pretty easily, matching Asha's display. Unfortunately, her clothing wasn't designed for this, and she's giving anyone walking by quite a show.
Asha giggled. "Of course I'm alright. Upside down is fun. And I couldn't stay in that room...being in there by myself was starting to remind me of home, which is bad. And I was bored so...upside down."
"Did you talk to Tryko'Sam?"

Sara runs over to the table where her friends have been sat by Fei.
"Hi Midori. Hi Zilla. Hi Hew. Hi Grim? Hi. . . . Mr. . . . Person. . . . .
Do you think Lang will be back soon? I'm kinda worried. . . . And has anyone seen Sorun? Is he OK?"
Hew nods to the man that had helped him to the table. "Thank you for the help Sir. I'm Hew this is Zilla and that's Midori." He tells Fei just before Sara makes her way to them. "Oh and this is Sara." He smiles to Sara. "I don't know I haven't really talked to him all day, Zilla do you have any idea?"
Zilla had been looking at Fei with rosy cheeks. "Oh what? Oh Lang. Umm No I don't really know. He didn't say anything to me about how long he would be gone." Zilla returns her eyes to Fei. "Come sit down with us, Mr..?"
Adon Derro
Adon watches from his spot leaning on the wall, then chuckles a bit.
"Oh, come on. Can't you big, mighty spell-casters stop one kid? Honestly."
adon is directing this largely at riviarti, using a few glances to hem and a few implications of a target in his words.

He smiled to her knowing she's right. "Your right as always, my love. I doubt I could have convinced her anyhow. But you are right I'm just worried. I don't want to see her hurt just like I don't want to you hurt ether. So I guess I was thinking stupid things again." Dom reached up to her chin and gently moved it to a position he could kiss her lips. "She would kill me if she ever knew I even came up with that plan."
Reviarti
adon's being a total snob, as always.
"Sorry, do you have a problem with magic?"
says riviarti, sliding over to Adon."I've heard of people who are too primitive to accept magic, and shun it, because they fear it. Is that the case? I can show you some of the practical applications of magic, or it's sources, if it's where the power comes from that your worried about."
riviarti seems to be analzing adon, the manner she speaks seems insulting if it was expected to be insulting. Basically, riviarti seems to be testing Adon's level of maturity and calmness.
Reviarti
he tries to hide his confusion...
... And fails miserably.
"What is the matter? Are you not used to such behaviors from a Mage?"the anthro lion walks up behind, having been looking around to see if renkai came back.
"Look, don't apply your previous experiences with mages to me. I won't judge you."
"Ace"
Ace arches an eyebrow at Adon. "Um, are you blind? I showed up, Renkai left. Nobody got hurt. Problem solved. Not my concern currently if he's lost touch with reality. There are far better people than I to handle that. Miss Jones comes foremost to mind."
He offers his hand to Ginni, "Come on, I want to see how my rescued puppy is after this attack is, and check on Kitty too."
Adon Derro
"Shut up, someone i actually find interesting is talking."
adon snapped at ace, before continuing his conversation.
"See, when i was young, i was an arcane prodigy. I was already casting cantrips at age 4, and by age 8, i could cast all the magic circle spells."
he sighs.
"Then, it got more difficult. Every time i cast, i felt as if i had to press the magic through an invisible force, walling me in. Gradually, my magic got weaker, and weaker. Over time, we found that magic doesn't seem to effect me a lot of the time. Over time, it effected me less and less. My archmage father couldn't find anything, and my mother couldn't get anythign from nethus about me at all- he acted as if he didn't even know i existed, most of the time. At about age 15, i took up weapons practice, as my magic was doing almost nothing anymore. My parents helped train me..."
he trails off, then shudders.
"Eventually, they sent me here. I was still determined to learn magic, at least for a while, until i learned my body produces a form of anti-energy that we usually just refer to as antimagic. This energy distroys magic on contact, including psionics, ki, and Devine magic. So, eventually, i learned to throw it around, witch burns massive amounts of food energy, but once it starts burning energy it stays at that rate of production, so now I'm almost always hungry."

::Oh thank the gods, Ephebe? Can you hear me?::
He holds her tight, waiting for a response...oblivious to anyone else around them.
::Yeah, I can hear you, love...I'm actually feeling much better now...I was so scared that I'd never see you again, that I wouldn't be there to see our babies hatch...:: she clung to him tightly for a moment before looking around.
"Oh, shit! Where did the girl go? We're never going to be able to contain the virus at this rate!"

He smiled to her knowing she's right. "Your right as always, my love. I doubt I could have convinced her anyhow. But you are right I'm just worried. "And since I very much want you to stay alive, I'll never ever tell her," Tami teased. "Hmm....I think perhaps we should go back to your room...get out of the way while the others work, that sort of thing. Since I don't think there's anything more either of us can do right now."

"Okay, I'll catch up...I really need to go talk to Melody. She needs to know about this whole mess with Kai. She's my friend and I can't not tell her that there's a problem."
"And Miss Jones won't be any help. She always disappears during the new moon. Nobody knows why. Maybe Nala could help...if she weren't so obviously busy trying to resurrect the dead. I don't know. I have no idea how to help in this situation."
Vare, the Summoner
She was just about to reply after seeing the departure of Renkai to Midori's approach, when Vare speaks.
Chastised, poor Darleena does her best to hold herself together before breaking into tears and running off, the sheer emotions of the day finally getting to her.
Vare once again sighs. He had not meant to cause such distress. Still, as he had said, what was done cannot be undone. He had to do what he could to once again try to locate Anahita. If she was in need of his assistance, then he should do what he could for her...
Marcell swims up to ace, Gunni, and Vare.
"Who was that guy? He seems to have problems."
"We all have problems, which is why this school exists, if I am not mistaken. We have to try to work together to overcome our barriers and problems. If only I had been better able to calm that student down. Still, there are other matters I must attend to. Excuse me." Unless further conversed by this strange being, Vare will return to the scrying mirror he had left active on the floor, and dispel that spell. It was of no use anymore. He had used most of his divination already. He couldn't locate her directly.

He smirked at her idea. "Oh I bet there's a few things we can do, back in our room. How about we go to the showers first wash off this blood on us first. I can show you a few water tricks while we're there, if you like." He teased while he tucked a loose piece of hair behind her ear.

She was just about to reply after seeing the departure of Renkai to Midori's approach, when Vare speaks.
Chastised, poor Darleena does her best to hold herself together before breaking into tears and running off, the sheer emotions of the day finally getting to her.
Apprently ignored by the staffer, Midori looks around confused for a moment, then at the Professor who had seemingly driven her off. He did look like he was a bit... off. Still. Oh! He was the one with Monster-san the other night when she first arrived! He had seemed nice then...
Either way, afterwards Midori returns back to join her friends, Fei, and now Sara joining them as well. She was still resolved to thank the nurse who had helped her friends so. "Lang-kun will be fine, Sara-rin. He's the Avatar, ne?"
As Zilla flirts with the older boy, Midori seems to paying attention to that attentively, obviously trying to learn. She seems to be copying some of the basic actions in regards to Hew - mostly just sitting near him, playing with her hair, etc.

Asha giggled. "Of course I'm alright. Upside down is fun. And I couldn't stay in that room...being in there by myself was starting to remind me of home, which is bad. And I was bored so...upside down."
"Did you talk to Tryko'Sam?"
"That seems reasonable." Rena giggles back, extending her wings while upside-down to maintain her balance. "I talked to him. He's... um.. interested, but he's helping with the repairing of things."
"He said maybe we could help with that, getting things in order again, but I'm not quite sure what we could do."
"Oh." Rena slowly lowered herself back to the floor, and a sitting position there too. Her head had started to feel funny, with a loud pounding in her ears. Straaaange. "Maybe we shouldn't use this room either. I share it with my friend Vare, and he's already interested in another girl. I don't know if he would like if he couldn't use his bed." that last sentence is said with just a little playful mischievousness.

"Well... most of us do. I didn't have a problem /until/ i came here.
she giggles a bit, then silently watches, facinated.
"Why did you come in the first place?" Vare asks, both distracted but not wanting to snub this student... a girl, by the sounds of her laughter and voice. "My understanding was that troubled young people came here for guidance. Though, I could be mistaken, obviously."
"Scrolls. I need scrolls." he says suddenly, and begins to dig in a pouch at his side.
Tamina
He smirked at her idea. "Oh I bet there's a few things we can do, back in our room. How about we go to the showers first wash off this blood on us first. I can show you a few water tricks while we're there, if you like." He teased while he tucked a loose piece of hair behind her ear.
"Ooh...water tricks...my favorite," she giggled, standing up and pulling him up too, tucking his arm around her shoulder. It looked like they were being very cuddly, and they were, but actually knowing how exhausted he was she was supporting him as they walked, just in case his legs still felt a bit wobbly.
Vare, the Summoner
"A friend of mine was having trouble just before that business, and I have to attempt to help her." Vare begins to sort though his scrolls - which are quite strange in their own right - it is almost as though each scroll was composed of several smaller pieces of paper glued together.
"Perhaps I can assist you, but not at this very moment. Are you terribly uncomfortable as a mermaid?" he adds after the fact, still seeming quite distracted.

"Well, that makes sense. So since your room is otherwise spoken for and I don't have one yet, does this mean that Tryko'Sam has a room?" she asked, walking on her hands back and forth across the hallway before cartwheeling back to her feet. She was clearly accustomed to spending long hours on acrobatics, probably to pass the time.
"Hey, do you think that when I do get assigned a room that we could be roommates? Cause that would be awesome."
"Yeah, I really don't know what to do either. I don't know how to heal, I can't help carry supplies or anything cause I'm too new to know where anything is, and I don't have a clue how to fix machines. What else could we do to help?" she asked thoughtfully, wracking her brain for ideas.

Anahita, she is going to attempt acrobatics to move through your threatened area without provoking. What is your CMD as a firey bear?
Mithros, I also need to know if I am envisioning your flight correctly. As I see it, the only way you would be able to catch the girl is if you are fairly close to the ground and mostly parallel to it; basically in 'superman flight position'. Is that about right?
