Basically, she's got a make-shift bra type device on now?

Settro can feel her shiver with pleasure as she does his work to ensure she's a little more covered up than before.

"Thank you. I'm Rena, what's you're name?" she waits for a response before saying, while stroking his scaly arm once again. "We'll talk again later, alright?" And then she walks over to where Tryko'Sam is, all smiles and a bit more covered up now.

Tryko'Sam was busy welding away at something, his shirt off to the side so it wouldn't catch flame (precaution) while working away with a blow torch or similar tool. It might be noted that other than his complete lack of fatigue from effort, he doesn't appear to worry about himself and mindlessly does skilled technical or physical work, once he picks up what's required.

He certainly isn't an inventor, however, but occasionally, he did pause with an odd expression in between tasks as if remembering something.

When Rena walks over, he hadn't paid attention to much else other than the blow torch's flame, pausing a moment and then quickly 'turning' it off.

"Hello."

He did look her over a brief moment, then seemed to remember her from the cafeteria earlier.

He's slightly sweaty from the effort, his hands have thick gloves on, but otherwise, his lean and athletic figure is merely in his black leather pants and high boots.

"Something you need help with, Miss? Doing repair work. Place got blown up pretty badly." He obviously didn't recognize Rena in her new form, and yet, he certainly wasn't recoiling- or assuming too much familiarity either.

Rena does a momentary double take as Tryko'Sam's apparently unfamiliarity and then laughs aloud as she remembers that she hadn't actually told him it was her back in the cafeteria - she had planned to after all.

"It's me! Rena!" she says, happily leaning into his, running a hand across his chest, feeling the sweat and muscles there. She /is/ assuming quite a bit of familiarity here, as she has done with most people, thus perhaps a shying away from the blowtorch "I know you're busy, but Asha and I were wondering if you'd like to join us. We "got a room", and we could use your help with figuring things out." she said, though once again, there's no sultriness in her voice - she's obviously not trying to seduce him, just asking plainly, with obvious wide-eyed eagerness.

Her hair is somewhat draped across him, and sticking a little because of the sweat.

Over the radio
"Boss, I dunno what this stuff is, but it looks like your sister is dizzy from it...she may be infected..."

"As I said earlier, I am ill prepared, though, with but a fourth of a minute /here/," she says while maintaining her concentration while simply speaking, she says, "I could return with a spell to place her in suspended animation, or attempt to travel with her into another plane of existence. Unfortunately, neither are prepared, and her virus or invisible living attack is adapting to the fire."

It might be noted by her expressive features, that even she is surprised at the realization of these possibilities. Additionally, seeing as the flame will last a short while past the initial round of conjuration, she appears to cease concentrating and consider Ephebe.

"I could risk a Heal on her to cure the disease or poison, but if she remains a threat, it will make killing her that much harder as a means to stop this."

Anahita does give Ephebe a glance, the Heal being considered for her instead while giving the Lifepod woman more time to spread her illness further.

Shivering for various reasons perhaps not immediately obvious, Tryko'Sam both grins and laughs somewhat at the comments, not exactly moving away, but keeping the business end of any 'tools' away from direct contact.

Heh.

"Rena, first, wow... Awesome. You look amazing, fairly naked too, but, hey- you were naked when we meet, right? Uh... Look, I'd /love/ to dash off and help, but the school got hit hard by attackers, I'm not sure it's done, but we here are repairing this place to help heal folks. Please don't take this personally, I'm sure you're thrilled and whatever- I sure am, but, in a bit with the all clear? Is your guy Vare okay? Maybe you and Asha can go to the cafeteria and try help folks as needed? I wanted to hang with her too, but got called in to help. F$#+ing nice wings, wow!" He does appear to maintain partial focus while standing with her.

While speaking to Rena Tryko'Sam does look her figure over without being subtle about it, but he does not "ogle" as it were, just a look over and then a glance around to see other's reactions.

His gaze upon her is sheer appreciation of her beauty, and uniqueness, in between seeing the oddities of the others there as well.

"Can your construct create a dome of force to prevent escaping air for her pod? I would recommend you return to the golem straight away unless you can assist with magic, or destroy this area immediately to cleanse it. This world is potentially threatened by her disease like assault."

Anahita, clearly, eager to purge the threat, or eager to contain it quickly. She keeps the sight of the lifepod's occupant still in sight.

We're waiting on Ephebe's first round action, right? or did her appearing and save count as round one? Sorry to stress the rounds, I do like being organized. :)

As he looks her over appreciatively, she takes a step back and does a little wiggle - not so skilled, but well-intentioned anyway. At the same time, she spreads her wings out to their full span (roughly 11 feet all the way across or so - give or take a foot). A giggle bubbles up and escapes her lips and she smiles, enjoying Tryko'Sam's obvious interest. "I did mean a bit later, after all. Maybe when people are going to bed?" she continues on, still standing with her wings spread wide.

After several moments of 'display', she closes the wings and shuffles a little closer. "I'm not sure how much help Asha and I will be there. Vare is fine - he actually summoned a great many Angels and their kin to help heal people... and I think he may have Called a Draconal too, which seems a little... reckless. But, anyone who needs healing is pretty much finished being so, I think. Only the dead that need to be resurrected are left. And I definitely can't do anything about that. I'm not a priest or an angel, even if I look a little like one."

Hey guys, I am pretty tired .. Tuesday is RL game night. So I am gonna put up a pretty short post to move things into the next round-ish.

The effect that Ephebe's physical makeup has on the virus is nothing short of astonishing. She can actually feel the stuff spreading throughout her system, and a wave of vertigo goes through her. She staggers back a step, collapsing to one knee as she tries to retain consciousness.

Make a DC 25 Fortitude save or fall unconscious. If you fail, your time abilities will give you enough time to .. basically make one short phone call. Also, would Kronos take any action to help you even though you are on the outs with him?

When Mithros fails to augment the fire, he sees Ephebe stagger back out of the corner of his eye. She seems pretty woozy and drops to a knee bracing her hands on knee and ground to not fall over.

Fort save: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (7) + 9 = 16

She tried to think, to do what she needed to do, but her mind wasn't working right and then the world seemed to be tipping over and she couldn't hang onto consciousness. With her last thought she calls out to her mate.

::Krays, I'm sick and I...don't know if I'm going to make it...I love you...::

Her mental voice trailed off as she lost consciousness.

Basically her wisdom damage prevents her from casting any spells that might help and no, Kronos is not going to interfere. That said, as much as the positive energy may be accelerating the growth of the virus, it's also making it nigh impossible for the virus to outright kill her. Still, she's pretty much down for the count.

He then returns to the Materials and Supplies building, where Fei does his best to absorb the remaining fires to replenish his healing energies, and place a sign at the entrance warning others away for the time being.

Fei then walks to an isolated corner of the warehouse where a pile of ash and cinder lie spread across the floor. He kneels down, sifting through the material. The young monk's fist comes slamming down into the floor, a thunderous cracking noise resounding through the building as the floor around him spiderwebs into cracks several inches deep.

A forced, almost harsh breath issues from his mouth as he slowly rises and returns to the Cafeteria to try and bring some good to this hellish night. By the time he gets there, his features have softened, and the faint tremors in his steps have ceased...

"I don't know...do you know any way to neutralize a rapidly mutating disease?" he asked, only half paying attention as he listened to the radio reports to figure out what was going on.

"I think I can do that, my nanomachines can identify and destroy harmful microorganisms, and substances, where is this happening?"eg they allow him to cast remove disease/poison and the 7th and 10th lvl ability is to be immune to such things

Ginni staggered from the sheer strength of his killing intent.

"Do you even hear yourself?" she yelled. "You can't even consider the possibility that someone made a mistake? And you've totally lost all perspective on what is a reasonable response...and you better believe that Melody is going to hear about every word of this conversation."

"Help!" she yelled louder. "Someone help! This student, Renkai has had a mental breakdown and poses a danger to to himself and others! Please, someone help restrain him! Preferably before he actually succeeds at killing someone!"

Mel continues her work quietly. she continues to avoid Jiminy. right now escept if he has to address the whole group or he approaches her directly.

I guess Jiminy's help with that assassin is probably out of the question now. I wonder if I can figure out how to find him on my own? she is kind of think out loud bit is not too loud in her musings.

As she pokes aroud trying to put together the new equipment she finds what looks like a series of dip switchs.

hmmm. I don't remember seeing these on the other ones? wonder what configuration they need to be in?

she looks up from behind the console looks around for Arthur but seeing him talking to Jiminy she waits till he's done to quietly call him over.

Over the speakers
"I may have to nuke the area here to prevent spread of disease. You may want to clear out."

"Negative, Sunbeam! That is not a good option! Aside from the fact that my sister and her mate are in the blast radius, there's no guarantee that would kill it...you might just add radiation sickness to the problems...you're too close to populated areas to be using that," Jiminy said urgently into the radio.

Renkai seems to be confused... "and what am I supposed to do, the creature violates my privacy and tells me I can have no secrets....and I should do nothing?"

He.seems to be calming slightly but his confusion and anger are still prominent

Mel smiles for only a second as Arthur's conversation finishes but it is quickly gone as he walks out the door.

finally she sits back down looking over her tiny problem.

she knew what to do with the switches but was looking for an oppurtunity to talk to Arthur again.

Mel decides to just analyze the circuit and compare it to the other devices to find out how to configure the device.

Alright, just so no mistakes this time: scene is Ginni, Grim and Renkai, just outside the cafeteria, yes?

if you want you can stop him as he leaves the room, hermes did "huh, oh sure why not, set repulsors to fire, activate full heat vent when we get outside, we're dealing with a virus of some sort" eg d6 fire on grapples, melee weapon and repulsor damage
