Vare glares at the shifting being that had just appeared. His tone is severe and just a touch harsh. "We don't need anyone else antagonizing anyone around here, thank you. Now," with that reprimand given, he turns back to Renkai. "I place you under my protection to ensure no further harm comes to you, but you must put away your weapon. We have taken a greivous hurt - now is the time for healing, not for fighting. Do you agree?"
The monk is a bit of a contrast at the moment. He wears a gi apparently made of living plants that looks dark and quite sickly, but he himself appears perfectly healthy and...perfectly symmetrical (to Midori's mind). Most unusual...but oddly comforting to the young ninja.
He throws a wary glance into the hall, noting the kusarigama now dangling in Renkai's hands (and the lengths to which it could reach). He gently scoops up Hew in one arm as he says to the other two "Let us get all of you inside where you can be more comfortable, and out of reach of...any further dangers."
It's not only Fei's structured appearance that is soothing to the young and disciplined ninja - she also recognizes that Fei has a similar discipline in the way he moves and speaks. She notes Zilla's un-characteristic silence with a touch of curiosity, but her focus right now is on Hew.
Midori glances in the same direction as Fei - raised voices and the clink of weaponry instinctively cause her to reach for her own weapons - a shuriken and a kunai find their way into her hands. "A kasurigama is very versatile, but the longer away your target, the more difficult it is to land a solid hit, sensei. I believe we are safe here, unless he moves towards us."
"That is a shinobi weapon... I wonder from which clan he is from." it's obvious in the way that Midori's sentences are a little awkwardly strung together sometimes, that Common is not her primary language, even if she does have a fairly reasonable grasp of it.

Quite surprised, though a flash of other annoyance is quelled on her features equally quick, Anahita turns and tracks the fleeing figure as it shifts and sprints off in a new shape.
While the runner is still in sight, Anahita who has yet to actually take a step since her "discussion" this morning, seems to react, to the change of position while a graceful 'shift' of her own.
With a twist at the waist, Anahita's lithe form bursts into flame, her figure begins to expand, growing as the flames seem to overwhelm her figure, swelling quickly into the size of a huge, flaming bear shaped creature of pure fire- a huge elemental of fire. The motion is completed and she simply disappears, seen in the distance appearing close to the figure saying in a voice no longer a mere human girl's, "Your rampage will be stopped, butcher."
Given her massive size, Anahita will be prepared to attack the fleeing creature if it elects to continue running, her arms easily providing her the reach needed while not remaining too close for the enemy's own arms. Anahita did anticipate stretching, however, shifter were a squirrelly lot, after all.
"She is infected, Sunbeam. You need to find a way to contain the area. And neutralize the disease. I don't suppose anyone has tried casting a remove disease spell yet? I think Pheebs is not in any shape to cast it at the moment.""Who?" Vai goes cold at the combination of what Fei said and what Jiminy said. "Who is infected James?!"
::Fei... there's some kind of.. biological attack happening I think. James is talking about... infection.:: she sends to her meldanya, fear creeping into her voice. How could you fight the plague? Especially if they're medical supplies had been all but destroyed...
"Ephebe's infected...I'm not sure...,I think Krays may be going to help now? Sorry, Vai, I'm trying to keep track of a lot of things at once," Jiminy said frowning as he tried to keep telepathy and radio signals straight.
"I.. I didn't.." He looks past Keme at Kitty and Saffire with a look of uteer despair. Why were they acting like this? "I would never hurt them! I love them!"With surprising speed Keme places himself between Kitty and Michael and Michael finds the business end of a kukri preventing him from getting any closer to Kitty.
Keme glared at him coldly.
"Someone followed Kitty out to her animal hospital. And that someone stabbed her in the neck so many times it nearly severed her head. And then slaughtered every animal in there. Kitty was able to be brought back and apparently her familiar wasn't as dead as it looked, and now they're both looking at you like they're scared of you, and so help me if you did this I will kill you," he said with deadly seriousness.
Kitty was crying as she clutched the wounded Saffire close to her.
"I...I went to check on the animals," she said hoarsely, her voice still damaged, but now not so badly she couldn't use it. "And then Michael came to check on me...I was surprised, but he said he was worried about me being out there by myself...we....we got into an argument. A stupid argument about me being able to look after myself....and then.....then he....he....." she couldn't speak any more through the sobs.
After Arthur leaves (possibly with the robot) Mel glances up like she found the courage to say something but it was too late, he already left.
Mel instead gets up snd goes over to Jimminy. trying to get his attention to let him know she is there but also waits patiently for him to acknowledge she wishes to speak with him.
she knows what he is doing is important and does not want to be too much of a distraction.
"I will be with you as soon as I can," he says, distracted.
"No." He agreed. "I doubt it would, it but it may help the recovery process. It could also hurt the process." He tells her while snuggling close to her.
"I thought this place was suppose to be safe, but in the first week so much has happened. I'm afraid of what could happen you or Mel. Assassins and attacks all in the first were what else could going wrong?" He sighed knowing something was going to happen and soon.
"Nothing in life is without risk. This place is safe, most of the time...and when things do go wrong, well....look at all the people that showed up to try and fix it."
"Oh.." Rena seems to have a thought at that. "I don't have my own room, and Asha doesn't either... maybe we should use your room? I share a room with Vare, and it's not that I mind if he would join us... but I think it may make Anahita jealous. Though honestly I rarely have a clue what that girl is thinking, to be completely honest."
Seeming to think for a moment - and sidling closer to the shirtless Tryko'Sam while she does so. "I think the Headmaster is probably too busy to deal with enrolling Asha and I as students right now, so our rooms may have to wait until tomorrow. Would it be alright if we stayed with you tonight?" With that, she's practically all over him once again - hands running across his muscular chest and back, and given that Tryko'Sam's only about four inches taller than her, she only has to reach up slightly to kiss him on the cheek.
Again - none of this is "sultry", or at least intentionally so. Rena seems to enjoy the sensations of /everything/. Maybe her new body is extra sensitive, or she's just not used to skin.
Tryko'Sam blinks at the visuals of "Vare joining" and shakes his head saying, "Yeah, that would be rude, if you are thinking of what I am thinking of, or guessing what you are thinking- never mind, no roomies in my room, you two could crash and hang all you want. But... Yeah, uh, you want to hang here and help out? Got any immediate questions? You ever try out a human form? Boys and girls are sorta different, but, should be easy enough to talk through most of it. Worse case, I'm sure there are books or vids on this. Plus, you know, ask other girls, right? That's what I'd do."
He grins again at Rena, having smiled at the kiss saying after as well, "You seem to like it, and it sure looks good. Did Vare fix you up?"
That said, he endeavors to get back to work and such, though after a moment asks, "Asha's safe, right?"
"Kitty, I don't remember any of that! Ever since you went to the animals and I came here, I haven't left! I was so busy I never even thought to check on you!“
Mere moments after Renkai pulls out his weapon, everybody standing outside the cafeteria sees a cheetah boundng down the hall, heading straight for them. It leaps into the air, to cover the last remaining distance, and as it lands in front of Ginni, Ace takes its place, quarterstaff in hand.
"Back away from my girlfriend. Now."
"Ace, it's okay. Kai wasn't threatening me...I may be the only person he hasn't threatened here...he tried to kill some snail person because they touched his mask...and then threatened to kill a robot for lying to him...and I just wanted to stop him before he caused harm to anyone, himself included. He's not in a rational frame of mind right now."
"Kitty, I don't remember any of that! Ever since you went to the animals and I came here, I haven't left! I was so busy I never even thought to check on you!“
Keme looked thoughtful, the kukri dropping down, still ready, but not immediately pointed at Michael.

As Lang begins to attempt to wave down the shuttle, a loudspeaker booms out to him over the distance. "Please identify yourself. If you are a student of Avalon, or are making your way to become such?"

From one of the groups of people huddling with the remaining other support staff, one of the human women stands up, dressed in robes of blue and such, perhaps even a sleeping gown, a woman says in a stern tone, moved by Vare's comments.
Addressing the emotionally super charged Renkai she says, the woman Hew and/or Zilla recognize by her dark hair, "Stop this emotional out burst immediately! We have sick and injured and your negative hate and rage filled outburst does nothing for their healing! Their spirits if they linger might even be driven off! Have you /no/ empathy whatsoever?! Are you the only person you think of? Calm yourself and think on what you are doing here spreading all this negativity. You are working effectively with whoever has done all this to the school, you selfish short sighted young brat!"
Her tone while raised, is not hysterical, but certainly carries with it the tone of a staffer who's had to deal with emotional children often at the school.
Depending on the length of people's being in the school, this young woman is one of the 'night staff' from the infirmary, Darleena. She seems to be rather calm, but clearly all the insanity of someone brandishing weapons and speaking of murder near the injured led her to exclaim as she did.
"Um, Phaezerial maybe, or my little brother's friend.." He seems to shrink in on himself as he realizes there really aren't that many who could confirm hs story. "Maybe some of the other people healing others around here."

And with vare calming him the ball slows...
Then a madwoman starts screaming at him....
"Just, all of you get away from me!"
Then renkai and a shadow double sprint toward two different walls and he goes through them...

Keme nodded. "I'm going to ask around then. If Kitty is telling the truth, and we still know who she is, so she's telling the truth, and you're telling the truth, then we may be dealing with some kind off shapeshifter. A really sick, twisted shapeshifter. Come on, Kitty, stay close. I'm not leaving you by yourself for a second right now. We're going to go ask some questions and check on Michael's story," he said, putting an arm around the sobbing Kitty and picking her up off the table.
Luckily for Keme, Phaeze is currently using his Incarnate power on the silence effect of Ehos, so the witness are fortunately grouped up, and easy to find.
Keme approached Phaezeriel and company carrying a distraught tiefling girl, a grim expression on his face. In fact, this is probably the most serious that anyone has ever seen Keme (aside from the fight against Khoda) as he hasn't cracked a single joke or made a sarcastic comment since he got here.
"Excuse me. I need to talk to you. It's urgent."

Michael finds a place to sit down out of the way and wait. He made sure he could still be seen easily though.
Hew looked strangly at Fei. "We'll be fine If he tries hitting us we can defend ourselves... Wow! What did you put in those things? There hard as a rock." Hew's question seem directed at Fei's arms.
Zilla sees the woman and tuggs on Midori's sleeve. "She's the one that got us out of the infirmary." Zilla tells her before doing as the hot guy asks and slipping into the infirmary.

Vare sighs as Renkai runs away a disappears through the shadows. He had thought for a moment that he had been getting through to the clearly troubled boy. He gives the staffer who had shouted something of a withering look before saying: "That was not necessary. I would think a healer would have a more tender hand for dealing with the troubled ." he sighs slightly, feeling a little defeated. At least he had been able to assist somewhat - he was fairly certain that Renkai would not hurt anyone now. How long until the wards were active again?
"Still, what's been done cannot be undone, be please be more aware of the power of words in the future." he says to the staffer, before exiting the hallway and returning to his place on the cafeteria floor.

After having broken away from her friends momentarily, Midori makes her way back over to Darleena, the staffer just recently berated by Vare and pointed out by Zilla. She bows slightly to the woman, formal as always. "Sumimasen." she says lightly, attempting to get the woman's attention as politely as possible.

Phaezeriel's thoughts are the calm, gentle tone of one who is used to dealing with patients who are experiencing trauma; not patronizing in the least, just very calm and compassionate, ::I see. I am sorry, Kitty, that you experienced such an event. I can assure you that whoever attacked you was an imposter. Michael was here when I arrived, and that was within the first few minutes of this temporary infirmary being in the cafeteria.::

He turns around and hugs Ginni tight "Sorry love, just really wound up and intent after everything that's gone on today. I'll tell all about it later."
Looking around, he asks "Has anybody seen Kitty? I had planned to go check on her at the animal hospital but got distracted by far more pressing matters."

"Oh, Asha, I'm so glad to fine you are alright." Rena says, swooping in next to her handstanding figure.

She manages pretty easily, matching Asha's display. Unfortunately, her clothing wasn't designed for this, and she's giving anyone walking by quite a show.

it takes a minute or two for Lang to land with the shuttle at such a distance hearing what the broadcast is is a little difficult.

Lang opens the folds of his robes and takes flight to get closer to the shuttle.

The young monk lets the girls sit, then makes sure they get something to eat and drink so they can replenish themselves.
Sara runs over to the table where her friends have been sat by Fei.
"Hi Midori. Hi Zilla. Hi Hew. Hi. . . . Mr. . . . Person. . . . .
Do you think Lang will be back soon? I'm kinda worried. . . . And has anyone seen Sorun? Is he OK?"
