Midori smiles at Hew and does indeed quickly calm - the rose colouration leaving her cheeks after a few moments. "Yes Hew-kun, thank you. I.. no. I'm alright, thank you." she says awkwardly, and with the object of Zilla's affection having left, Midori doesn't have anything to copy, so she just simply starts eating again - though she doesn't make eye contact nearly as much now - maybe still embarrassed.
Hew released her hand and let her go to eating. He didn't stop paying attention to her as her had been captivated by her. Just looking at her made him happy. Everything around him seemed to fall into a haze as he watched her.
After a moment he shook his head to clear his mind. He after returned to his own meal. When the call out was made Hew turned to see what was going on. He didn't have a way to help but it was an attention getter.
Arthur gets a weak dwarf coded SOS signal now eh flys closer to where the entrance to Carl's Demi-plane is, The signal gives Carls location and his life-signs, healthy but unconscious, also the single says Carls in danger.
Hermes gets pinged with the SOS through the system.
"Perhaps we should drop pursuit and find him. He must be in life threatening danger if he would send an SOS."
Hermes turns his tractor beam on to where he is directed.

Kissing Ginni on the cheek and giving a quick "Ok babe, see ya in a bit", Ace makes his way to whereever Kitty is.
Upon seeing her in a not all that great of a state, he rushes to her side, concern quite evident on his face "Oh gods Kitty, not you too!!"
Ace finds Kitty laying on a cot as Phaezeriel is working on her memory. As he tries to approach, Keme stands, kukri at the ready.
"You aren't getting near her," he growled. "Not until you can prove to me you aren't the one who hurt her."
Kissing Ginni on the cheek and giving a quick "Ok babe, see ya in a bit", Ace makes his way to whereever Kitty is.
Upon seeing her in a not all that great of a state, he rushes to her side, concern quite evident on his face "Oh gods Kitty, not you too!!"
Ace finds Kitty laying on a cot as Phaezeriel is working on her memory. As he tries to approach, Keme stands, kukri at the ready.
"You aren't getting near her," he growled. "Not until you can prove to me you aren't the one who hurt her."
With a brief shake of his head, Phaezeriel places his hands on Kitty's temples, ::Close your eyes and relax. I will help you.:: There is no outward sign that Phaezeriel is doing anything, but for Kitty there is a sudden pressure in her mind, and a sense of delicate fingers riffling through her memory. All the sensations stop for a moment, then they continue. Her memory of the attack plays through her mind many, many times faster than the event actually took; like a movie on fast forward. As it does, she has a disconcerting feeling of remembering the same event in two different ways as if the point of view of the memory were an event horizon and on one side, Michael was doing the terrible things to her, and on the other side it is some unidentifiable person. When he is finished, barely ten seconds has elapsed.
Phaezeriel opens his eyes, ::Kitty, how do you feel?::
"I...think I feel okay...I...I couldn't see the person who attacked me," she said certainly. "That's...that's what happened?"
"You mean aside from the fact that I was with you for quite some time? and prior to that I was in the SIM room with Ginni, Tamina, Morrivan, Vai, Raelle, Melody and Taron? Along with Jaiye and Ehos? and before that I was in the library at the time of the attacks, with Ehos and Jaiye, in divine communion with my deity, trying to learn what I could about an attack on Ehos?"
He holds his staff in a semi threatening manner "Not for nothing, tough guy, but maybe if I went to check on the animal hospital with Kitty, like I had originally intended, she wouldn't be in the current state she's in. BUT NOOOO, you said she had it taken care of. Pretty sure I could have protected her from whomever attacked her."
He hefts his staff slightly. "Now, get out of my way, so I can tend to her. I have healing magicks at my disposal. Unless you would prefer her to remain injured"

Rena returns the giggle just as easily. "Is that what that feeling is? Cute? He certainly is muscled, and I liked that alot for some reason."
As Asha runs her hands through the wing feathers, stroking them, Rena has to stifle a cry of delight, and grabs Asha, forcefully pulling her close. Asha can feel the /massive/ strength in Rena's body in that moment, but Rena is at least of sound enough mind not to acutally hurt the girl. "Ohhh that felt /good/, Asha." And, there on the floor of Avalon's hallway, the two girls share their first kisses as Rena cannot suppress that instinct.
Asha was enjoying these surprising new sensations when someone yelled at them to "Get a room" and "Geez, you're disgusting."
"Mmmm....Rena this is nice, but...I think that people don't like it when we play like this in the hallway. We need to find someplace better to play."

And unless you can prove that you didn't go out to the animal hospital where she was attacked...and how do you even know that she was attacked there, huh? I don't remember telling you. Once out Carl starts to wake he seems unharmed

"This coming from the kid who has a giant scythe? Cuz that makes you trustworthy"

Hew turns back to Midori. "What do you think is going on? It can't be anything dangerous again, can it? Why are these things happening here so much? All the other schools I have been to sure they had trouble from time to time, but it was usually because I was trying to escape from some crazy teacher." He shakes his head in disbelief.
"I was healing her, I was right here in front of dozens of witnesses I've done nothing but heal people since the giant dragon attack, which I was there for, I've been helping people, I stopped a dude with a melty face from attacking a snail person and a chick with horns,"
"If my having a weapon makes me less believable, then the same can be said for you and Keme here. Not sure if you noticed, but there was a series of attacks tonight, and I have loved ones and friends to protect. So yea, I have a weapon. So does Keme, who was threatening me first"
He shifts the blade back to staff form "Still waiting for an answer. If I attacked Kitty, why would I come looking for her?"
"We didnee think ta see ye faces again lads"
He binks and looks around
"Right ya are Arthur"
He tentative pushes away and hovers wobbyly then stronger as he fully wakes
"But tell me, did it work? did i stop them things fallin on the town"
When they tell him he smales [lets others get on with things]
"Thats good ta know"
"one obvious answer would be to ensure that she went down, another would be to deflect suspicion, take your pick"
"If I wanted to ensure she 'went down', why would I attempt to so among a group of people? As for deflecting suspicion, that could be possible, but again, it doesn't make sense to come check on her. There's a ton of other, far more logical ways I could have made it seem like I wasn't her attacker."
He pauses, and suddenly remembers something "After I left Professor Sunwake's lad, I went to Tyrrin's observatory, and used the telescope to try and figure out where evil Vai went. There should be some log of my using it or at least my data input should be the last entered"
"well then go have someone go get that, or better yet go do something useful"
to your mind reading ability over the course of the conversation it seems like there are two people in his head with different 'feals' to their thoughts

I do not know who attacked you, but what I do know is that your memories of that event are entirely false; someone else has already been tampering with your memory. If you are willing, I can dig a little deeper and see if I can uncover the real memories.::

"I am not arguing," Keme said quietly, the dark energy fading from his kukri. "I am guarding Kitty. No one comes near her until I'm sure they aren't the one who harmed her. No one. I am staying here. Go complain to Professor Genosuke if you don't like it. I'm sure he'll be happy to see me being responsible for a change even if it does mean defying a teacher."
