Also, an apology to FCD and Dami for my little rant. I know we've all had that frustrating moment when we just can't catch up and have to keep editing posts past the point of comprehension. Especially frustrating when it happens while you're online and posting. While that makes the outburst understandable, it was still out of line and I'm sorry.
No apology necessary on my end. You and FCD can hug it out as you see fit.
Be well.

Invariance from not meta game knowing the house rules nothing more old bean,
:)
Funnily enough, this isn't a house rule, this is actually how telepathy works in Pathfinder. It even works against things immune to mind affecting, and there is no way to block it (other than specific abilities which address telepathy directly). The only requirement is the creature must have at least 1 language.

Actually we have taken that and run with it, creating descriptions that help smooth out the corner cases because of how different people interpret the same rules. Because telepathy is much more prevalent in this game than it is in a normal Pathfinder game we pretty much had to. So some of what we use is house rules of necessity. We've just gotten used to it and forget to explain sometimes.

Duo Strife... exaclty how 'anatomically correct' is the hologram conjured? Is it male or female (or non-sexed, both, etc)?
pretty correct but is non-sexed. Hew didn't specify. Sorry was tired when I posted it.

I'm thinking like songs like
living on a prayer, pinball wizard, let there be rock, another one bites the dust, bad reputation, carry on my wayward son, devil went down to georgia, highway to hell, I got a feeling, thriller/heads will roll, we will rock you, what is love, if you're going through hell, start a band, I am all of me, me and my gang,
So classic rock. Do able. Just not all, Pinball wizard annoys me, just to pick out one you used as an example.
What I'm thinking is we do some classic and Alt. How about your feelings on this Tybs?
Tybalt Baneko |
I like classic rock. Its just modern grunge stuff I'm not into. If it became famous during my lifetime, I probably couldn't do it. This is fine with me. We've already done journey, so it makes sense. :)

Devil went down to Georgia is a really good song for us because it has a super good part for all of us.

He doesn't want to break up... but thinks she does
Mel does not know what she wants. a part does want to break up but she does not want to leave him in this condition. will post something soonish. I think it best that Kai and Mel be very good friends right now, it seems the best way she can think of to help him and maybe it will grow again into more.
DK what direction do you want for kai so I can accomodate with Mel...

My cat senses are tingling.
I sense the friendzone approaching...
Tybalt Baneko |
If spiderman can sense crime because he's a spider, I can sense the friendzone because I'm a cat. :P
Tybalt Baneko |
Whatever. Doesn't matter. Are Dave or Grim gonna say anything?
Tybalt Baneko |
I really like spiderman too. I was just a little confused on that one point. I don't actually have any of his comics. Ain't nobody got cash fo that.
I actually did a report on him freshman year. We were doing "Farcebook" pages for famous Journalists in my intro to journalism class. I picked Spidey and my friend picked Superman.
Everyone else did a boring real reporter. XD
Tybalt Baneko |
Ya. I really liked that class. I took it as a freshman, but because me and another freshman friend of mine were the only ones who did our work, the teacher turned our names in for us to go on the Senior Media trip to the CNN center in Atlanta. It was his idea too. :D

Hmm two champion/patron questions
1) would posessing an item, a rod for example, that, so long as you were in contact with it kept you from ageing, count as "immortality" for the whole patron/champion thing
2) do ex-champions posess any portion of their former powers?
Tybalt Baneko |
MG, this is nothing against you, but I kinda find most of the things that Silinrul says kinda unfair.
As far as I know, Lycans are raised with honor and duels being very important. He pretty much ignored any rule he wanted but called Ehos and Jaiye out when they tried to make it even.
I thought that Lycan honor duels always had to happen mano e mano, no magic.
Now he's trying to get into the wild and use his nature powers even more. Just seems kinda against the spirit of the duel and all. :/

While not directed at me, I'm going to throw my two cents in:
1) No. Though it might depend on the Patron in question. That item is most likely (at some point in life) going to vanish. If this is not the case, then the answer turns to 'Yes'.
2) So far as I know, you lose all infusion (but not experience) gained as an ex-Champion.
Weee!

Keep in mind that ex-champions are /very/ rare. Only 2 are known to the story, and Keme is one.
Also... the longer said champion lives... the more the other patrons are going to be pissed of at that Champion and likely to send their own champions against them. Self-balancing system - you try to cheat, you get ganged up on.

Which is ironic to say, considering they killed balance.

Then why did they kill him? Now they all have to do his job.

Three. Keme is the third known to the story....though only two still live since the Corruptor ended up in Krays's staff....and don't bother asking for details on the other one.:)
Also, given that Patrons choose their Champions for their longevity, usually (read, almost always) measured in centuries, it's unlikely that any Champion would feel the need to lengthen their life in that fashion. And the other Patrons would be pissed and take measures if they did as stated above.
Now to try and catch up on the game thread....
