I was planing on ending this adventure when you make your request known to the fire elemental prince.

It's been sort of dragging on know and I regret even sending it in this direction. I have learned a lot about play by post games here, what I think most players want, and what I am capable of giving.

I appreciate the four of you sticking it out this long.

As soon as one of you can put together a post that tells the fire elemental price what you are going to do, I begin wrapping things up.

I'm sorry that it ended in a disappointing way.

There is a small potential for the game to continue, as you return and must face the kobolds and gnolls on the hill near Penny's home, but I'll leave that up to the four of you to decide.

Well let's do a vote in discussion? Giving the words to someone else will wrap up the campaign with a nice bow tie so I'll keep my vote for that.

So.... in happier news. We're expecting our second child this Friday so I'm probably not going to be posting anything substantial for a while after!

My question has not been answered yet, and it is somewhat important regarding leveling up.

Oh, sorry. No, you do not benefit from a "rest" at this time, but considering there are no pressing threats, the party can elect to take a long rest right now, and that should satisfy your needs.

I think we can conclude this adventure. The Goblins marching off to an uncertain but potentially optimistic future is a nice little ending. The now know the important details of the Bad Future and have a general idea of how to avoid it. They can decide the course of fate. That's a solid victory of its own.

I think the glimpse into the future was a great coda but maybe a bit of a writeup on the noises in the jungle and then we can call it a campaign? It might be nothing but that's still one last loose end to tie up :).

Hey all, probably a good time to wrap it up. maybe somehow Fluuk and Klobber find their way back to 'modern' world, if not he spends a lot of time researching it, maybe even retracing his steps.

I will be out of the country over the holidays and won't be able to post until after the new years. Great adventuring with all of you.

I hope my final post does justice to the wonderful story telling all of you contributed to this adventure. I, naturally, wish I had done a better job of it, made it more interesting at times, and perhaps more serious, but overall I am glad you all stayed with me until the end.
