I had a really a great idea about Boosting my own Healing Trait, and then I remembered healing attempts take ten minutes and boost trait has a default duration of like, eighteen seconds. Damn you, game balance! :P
I'm hoping to get a game post up tomorrow, but to answer your question, I do allow psychic healing. It's in Rifts, so it should be here...

Actually, I was asking if the Trauma Kit is available post PC-creation - in other words, if there's a store (or something) around that sells them.

Also, is there an "order" that healing needs to be done in?
This may be just a thing in Shadowrun, but does "normal" healing need to be done before magical healing? Like, do we have to put the band-aid on and then do the psychic healing? Or can either the Healing roll or the psychic healing be done in any order?

Atlas:To the best of my understanding of the rules: no, there's no order. However, each person only gets one attempt with the Healing skill/Healing power and once the golden hour (the hour immediately following your wound) is past you have to wait for the wounds to heal naturally or use the Greater Healing power. :)
Jazz is right, the order doesn't matter, as long as the Golden Hour hasn't passed, which it has not. As far as purchasing Trauma kits, most gear is available to purchase at Castle Refuge, unless you want to go underground...
Jazz - technically, each person only gets one attempt with the Healing *skill* - someone with an Arcane Background can try the Healing *Power* as many times as they have PP for (see HERE, bottom of the page).
I just didn't want to take Burgurk under the PP limit for one last mental blast of Mega-Bolt, in case it's needed.
Not sure what was going on with the site yesterday, but I couldn't see any of my gamethreads except Recruitment. At least Wayfinder is working. I'll try to get an update tonight so you guys can get onto the map.

Sorry for the delay. Seems the site had some issues on Thursday, and I couldn't post I was not going to be available over the weekend. Back now.
Sorry for the delay. I went camping for the Easter long weekend and didn't expect to have no resception.. Which has now merged into a week away at the Gold Coast of Australia. Visiting some Themeparks with the kids. I'll try to get some posts in this week but my time is going to be limited. Things should kick off again on the 24th of April at the latest.

Like I've said before, I'm not so worried about time. I myself sometimes go a couple days without touching the boards due to RealLife (tm). As long as you guys are okay with the slow pace, I will keep going with it.

I think the pace in this game is faster than in *any* of my other games, and I'm loving it!
The pace is not "frantic", but it is ok. Thanks for having us in the game, learning a lot from it.

Of note, this is why it usually good advice to not wait too long on any single player. If the last person in a combat round hasn't posted in 24 hours, it can be a good idea to just bot them and move forward.
This isn't the first time that I've seen a game go on a lengthy pause for a player that isn't coming back. :/

Hey guys, I notice that we're a bit light on healing. Does someone want to buy a Trauma kit? It's only 2600, and gives +1 on healing rolls while ignoring up to -2 in penalties.
Also, it says that many of the things in the Sci-fi handbook might be available. DM, are the Medi-Gel and Medi-scanner available? Rifts says to add a zero to the price if they are, and they'd add +2 to healing rolls, or something.
Also, are stealth suits available? What? I like the idea of a 2-ton combat cyborg being RIGHT BEHIND YOU!! o.O
P.S. We can sell old equipment at half price, yeah?
Jonis has 1,000 credits she can contribute for a Trauma kit. Good idea Attie.
I've already got the Trauma kit, but somebody else having one definitely wouldn't hurt.
Metagame wise, I can upgrade things with neat techno-wizard gizmos, but it does tend to take a lot of money and time, so we'd have to be pooling or saving up so I can permanently buff items for one character at a time.
Auriel would be happy to purchase one or two for the group.
Some of the tech from SciFi would be available, but difficult to get. Things like Medi-gel and whatnot would be fine, but stealth suits would require some research, theft or other things. Otherwise, all my DeadBoy SpecOps would also be ninjas... That being said, I'm sure they exist somewhere in North America...

Alright, it sounds like you soft, squishy meatsacks have the whole 'healing' thing tapped solid. In that case, I'd suggest getting one single Medi-scanner. Converted price = 6000, and it gives a stacking +2 to healing rolls. (The idea is that it diagnoses the problem and the solution, while the trauma kit gives you the tools to do it.)
The Medi gel is a converted 200 per use. Another +2 because Science!, but might be both redundant and expensive.
@Aureil: Can I borrow 7,000 so I can get a +3 skill chip in Stealth? (What? I CAN BE QUIET I SWEAR! =)
That said, we might also save up so, later, I can borrow 12000 so I can get a Field Computer level 3? It adds directly to knowledge (Computer) checks, and I don't think anyone has that skill, so it might be nice. And lockpick. It also adds to lockpick. Might come in handy WITH THE WHOLE BEING QUIET PART! =3

First, I am sorry about the radio silence, but what was supposed to be resolved on Monday with my internet has stretched into Wednesday. I will update everything then.
Apologies for my lack of communication, and know that this is not normal for me.
Good to hear that, because I was beginning to think it was something about my home PC or internet service! Paizo seems to have been down every other day for the last two weeks, then both Monday AND Tuesday!
Still no internet at home (because of course, why would I have internet I am paying for?) but there is now a technician scheduled to come out on Friday, so barring anything odd it should be up then).

scene: a green forest. sounds: the wind blows. birds chirp in the distance. branches softly sway in the gentle breeze. A squirrel is eating a nut in the distance.
a large mech, crouched low, carefully walks forward. The only sounds are the wind blowing. The birds continue to chirp quietly. The squirrel seems to take no notice, and keep eating his nut cutely.
a medium-sized humanoid male simvan enters the picture.
*STOMP!* *CRASH* *BLAM* *WHOMP* *POW!* *BAP!*
Birds scatter and take to wing. A small tree falls over. The squirrel RUNS away, it's nut forgotten.
