Question for the DM:
Can Jonis trade her Huntsman Lightweight Personal Armor for a NG Maverick?
I think she would look much better in a Cowgirl outfit, and the Strength requirement of the Huntsman makes it a bad fit for her.
The Maverick is cheaper, by the way.

Well, yes. =)

If only! :P I mostly just work a really wacky schedule (Thursday and Friday are my days off) and don't sleep much except on those days. Plus my SO is busy so I'm holding down his side of the housework. ^_^;;

I am in fact, down for Roll20. Only caveat for me is that while I can see it at work, it doesn't like fog of war and gets a little wacky about it sometimes. :)

Sometimes roll20 can be wonky, but usually if you log in with one game, that will solve the problem.

Also, remember to take a safe distance from the Glitter Girl, as the boom from her firing can make you deaf.

I have placed you guys based on your descriptions in the round... Jonis, did you follow the link? Are you getting an error?

I can see the map, and I see people 2 squares away from Jonis. I think the boom gun affects a "Large Burst Template", but I am not sure how big is that.

It's 6 inches. The MBT is 4 and the SBT is 2... that means everyone within 6 inches of you may be affected with a failed Vigor roll...

and to give you an idea of scale, 1 square=1". I moved towards the Skelebots, so I should be in melee with them.

It's a 6" diamater, so everyone within the 3" radius should be affected.

*whistles innocently, 4" away from the boom gun*

I guess I was kind of confused about which way the D-Bees were running... I thought they were running towards our position. No matter though, I shall dispatch these skelebots and then they will be safe... :D

I will understand that as "all clear". I put a LBT on the Glitter Girl for the Boom Gun, and a MBT on the skelebots where she fires.

I don't know much of the Rifts lore other than what was in the book. What are Dead boys? Like, what do they look like and what Re they?

From USA ashes a "country" is starting. The Coalition States. They are xenophobic and the populace is illiterate, controlled by the government's propaganda, asking them to attack and expel all the "DBees" (anyone not human) out, by force if necessary (and many times even if it is not).
That sounds vaguely familiar... :P
Their soldiers wear a black armor with "skull" helmets.
Look for "Rifts Dead Boys" in Google images and you will get the idea.

So... how do you heal people in Savage Worlds Rifts?

There are a few different ways:

you can do it with the Medicine Skill, you can do it with healing magic, and I would presume there is a technological option as well.

Most of the time, healing needs to be done in the so-called "Golden Hour" or about an hour from when the injury occurred. If it does not, only seriously powerful magic can work on the target.

Other than that, I think it takes a week to make a healing roll.

So Jonis has the will, but not the means, to heal Jazz.

My armour has the healing power that can be used on myself of others but I see that Burgurk also has the healing power, and has a better psionics skill than me so I'll leave it to him...

As far as technology is concerned, RIFTS offers a Bio-Analysis Kit which grants a Healing roll to deal with "disease, toxins, and related conditions" (nowhere does it mention Wounds) - 5 lb, 7200 credits.

There's also the Internal Robot Medical Surgeon System, which provides an immediate Healing check of d8+2, with a +2 to any other Healing checks made for the next 24 hours - 2 lb, 42,000 credits, 4 uses.

Then there's the First Aid kit that's part of the NG-S2 Survival Pack, that grants a single +1 to a Healing roll - 3 uses, 300 credits.

And there's the Trauma Kit, which gives +1 to Healing rolls while ignoring up to -2 in Wounds - 3 lb, 2600 credits, GM decides number of uses.

This last one sounds like the best deal, in case all the Psionics healing is unavailable. DM-SBM, is it available?
