"CAN YOU NOT GO FIVE MINUTES WITHOUT PISSING SOMEBODY OFF?!" Neverhome howls in frustration at the retreating caturai.
Percy jumps up as Silence pounds back into earshot. Rainbow colored fire dances up her arms as she scans the sky for the threat.
Yes, mother! Percy hops up onto the higher diving seat of the Slaygon and starts gathering the redder of her flames into her hands.
Someone break out the salt! We have more crow meat for the larder!
Allie darted awake at the commotion. "Wha... What?! Whats happening?!" She ducks behing cover like everyone else trying to get her barrings.
Neverhome merely puts his head in his hands and grumbles and curses about the continued slaughter of ravens.
C'moon, sis! It's Fire time!
Percy giggles a little creepily as the power builds in her hands.
"They are just birds, like the witches are just people." Sigrun says rubbing Lyosha's shoulders. "Though there may be another controller nearby"
"Witches are not people." Nodding Lyosha raises his head with a thoughtful expression on his face. "Someone forcing them would explain why they are acting this way though."

"True..." Neverhome says while shifting his head from side to side in a agreeing manner, a bit of a smirk creeping onto his face as he does so.
When Allie falls asleep, Percy returns to her seat by Hobbes. Thanks for that. You always seem to have just the right thing handy.
"Eh. I do my best, Gorgeous." Hobbes says before pulling another donut, this one covered in chocolate, out of his pack.
Later on when Silence is running back to the party, swarms of birds in tow. "Can we just once run into a swarm of turkeys, or bacon? Raven is good eating, but we're gonna get tired real quick of it."
"This is definitely getting old..."
The elf just shakes his head and grabs his bow, knowing that his magic is all but spent.

"Again?" Zses sighs. After searching in his backpack for the flask of Alchemist Fire he didn't use last time, he takes cover with the others.

The area around the slaygon darkens as a multitude of ravens swarms down.
Allie and Percy are going to roast them, but still...
"I hope it works this time!" Zses says as he flings the Alchemist Fire, hoping to hit something this time.
he looked at the potion of supposed firebreathing and frowned slightly. He had not clue what was going to happen when he drank it, nor did he know what to expect, still that was a lot of ravens and they didnt have a lot of warning due to his.. well ineptitude. He undid the stopper and drank it down, his eyes widening in slight horror at the taste and feel of the liquid sliding down into his stomach. He didnt think he liked this feeling at all...
Neverhome simply sits and stares morosely at the soon to be Raven only barbecue.
Hobbes reaches into his pack and also throws an alchemist fire.
A large number of the birds are consumed in flame, but they just keep coming. Swarming over the slaygon and horses, they attempt to peck out your eyes.
I just fixed that, more fire now please!
As the birds swarm Sigrun Neverhome at first attempts to pull her away from the Murder but seeing her unaffected by the beaks and claws he instead tries to shield Zsestrian from the attack.
Allie nods, gets to a place where she will not hit any one she cares about and lets it blow.
Percy protects her eyes, but the fluttering and the swooshing turns her stomach and she ducks to regain her bearings.
He felt himself gagging, his whole body tensed and wanted to reject everything he had just done in the last few moments. He coudl feel something building in his body and he reacted 'coughing' torwards the second swarm.
Throwing up her arms to protect her eyes Sigrun withstands the chaos of the swarm her skin barely scratched by the birds' beaks and talon.
Hobbes pulls a vial of and helps Percy drink it down.
"Get...off!" Zses says as he tries to swat the ravens away. Furrowing his brow at the ravens, he lets out a slight chuckle "Really, it doesn't matter how much they are: Crow's pecks are way more painful than theirs.".
Shaking the sleep from his head, the elf drops his bow to the side, painful fire rising along his hands.
"I am getting...so...tired..of these birds!!!"
Ered is going to try and get himself angled so he doesn't get everyone in the mess and then lets the fire fly from his hands.
Unleashing a gigantic gout of fire, Allie incinerates at least half of the birds. The survivors attempt to flee, but are torched by Eredhias and a certain firebreathing Catfolk.
Neverhome lets out a sigh upon seeing all the slaughtered ravens before helping Sigrun remove the harried feathers from her clothing. He would have offered to help Zsestrian but he wasn't for sure which feathers were new and which were already there.
Allie sits back to catch her breath. "Can everything just calm down for two hours?!"
Silence moved over to the side and miserably hacked up another gout of flame his ears lay flat and his tail limp. Moments later a 3rd gout of flame was expelled and he looked miserably a bit better.
"That was not a good idea yes yes.
He said lowly mostly to himself. He immediately moved to check the horses making sure they were okay.
No dear, I do not think it will be that way.

"Well that was....well I suppose rather typical for Irrisen other than the fact that we survived it, that is." Sigrun says with a bit of an amused tone.
"Murder of Crows is typical. Murder of Ravens? Ravens are signs of good luck so why they are amassing and attacking us is unknown to me... unless something keeps compelling them to attack." Neverhome muses morosely.

Hila licks her lips as she looks at all the roasted birds.
"So we eat now? Yes?"
And without waiting for an answer grabs a roasted bird with her mouth and starts tearing it apart to devour it.
May be another patrol out there like last time yes yes? gather up the corpses and lets keep going, Have the pup eat on the wagon?
The felinerai said/suggested very glad friend Vashti's healing magics were pratically the greatest thing ever. The horses appeared none the worse for wear considering the attack. He nudged the stoic and awesome Mule back in the direction of travel they have been given...
Zses dusts off a bunch of black feathers from his shoulders (and a couple of sparkly ones, too), before sitting back in the slaygon.
"Everything okay?" he asks Allie.
Allie looked at Neverhome. "Actually, a group of ravens is called an unkindness..." She looked down. "Pretty good description, actually." She sighed and looked at Zses.
"Yeah. I'm just tired. Getting attacked after just waking up is not good for rest.."
