Zsestrian Raven |

"Bullseye!" Zses will cheer. After a couple of seconds he will raise an eyebrow. "Wait, what did you mean by *pffft*! You were supposed to explode, attack us, scream and run away, something! Not stand there and do *pffft*!"
After calming down, Zses will sigh "Let's just knock that thing over and see if there are some magic items hidden in it or whatever. I hope that I were right at least about that..."

Lyosha Neverhome |

Shaking his head resignedly Neverhome will proceed up to the snowman and attempt to knock it over and lightly chop it up to look though it with the sentinels sword.

Erika Darou |

Erika looks confused at the reaction to the snow man. However being cautious as she is, she keeps her bow trained on it just in case.

Red Confirm: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (17) + 6 = 23
Red Damage: 2d4 + 2 + 2d3 ⇒ (2, 3) + 2 + (1, 3) = 11
As soon as Neverhome steps within 15ft of the snowman, it angrily yells, "Can't you read? The sign says turn back! Now get lost!" When Neverhome steps closer, it screams in frustration. (take 4pts of sonic damage and make a Fort Save DC 18 to avoid being stunned for the surprise round)
Enemy Average: 15
Party Average: 11
As the scream's echoes die away, some of the river ice rises up and forms two humanoid shapes.
Erika can burn a mote at this point to take a single move or standard action.
Round One
The ice monsters charge at Neverhome and smack him hard. (take 7pts damage, 4pts cold damage, and make two Fort Saves DC 12 to avoid being staggered for 1rd)
Your turns
Map is up! Everyone except Neverhome is actually off the map (about 40ft behind Neverhome), so figure that into any movement you might do.

Lyosha Neverhome |

Wait, was the charge attack 7pts physical AND 4cold or was the 4 part of the 7?
Fortitude vs Stun: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (4) + 7 = 11
Fortitude vs Stagger 1: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (5) + 7 = 12
Fortitude vs Stagger 2: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (5) + 7 = 12
"NNNGGGHHHHHH" Neverhome will be revulsed by the jarring attack, knocking the sentinels sword from his grasp.

Zsestrian Raven |

Was that a critical hit?
Know.planes: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (10) + 8 = 18
Everything happened so suddenly that Zses didn't even have the time to panic "Lyosha!" While running to help the half-orc, he will shout to his companions: "They're ice elementals! Immune to ice, and even if you hit them in the back or in the head they don't feel that much pain! They also dive in snow and ice like they were water, so watch out! If you have fire, now's the time to use it!"
Out of breath, Zses will glare angrily* at the elementals.( In particular to Blue Elemental )
*Evil Eye DC 14, -2 to attack rolls, 7 rounds (reduced to 1 by save)
"Run back to the drink you came from, you oversized ice cubes, or the next crossbow bolt will be stuck between your eyes!" he will shout at the elemental while pointing the crossbow at it.

Lyosha Neverhome |

Groggily drawing his Greatsword as his head rings he'll shout just to be able to hear his own voice "We can't leave if you kill us!"
Don't know if I can do this but to save time: if the spirits are still acting aggressive after he shouts or if the voice doesn't respond he'll attack Red Elemental, otherwise he'll hold his attack until the elementals try and attack again.
Greatsword Attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8
Greatsword Damage: 2d6 + 3 ⇒ (2, 4) + 3 = 9

Erika Darou |

I'm going to burn that mote please and thank you Erika sees the creature begin to strike and focuses her mind. Suddenly and unbeknownst to you the world jumps back a fraction of a second and she lets an arrow loose at the snowman. Attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (16) + 3 = 19 Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 5

Your Benevolent Dictator |

@Zsestrian: Two hits, one was a confirmed crit. turns out, I forgot to roll Blue's damage, so lucky for you.
@Erika: are you hitting the snowman or one of the elementals? Also, you get to act in Round One, so another move+standard if you want. :-)
Blue: 1d20 ⇒ 7
Zsestrian's threat seems effective, but Neverhome misses. Also, everyone realizes that somehow, Erika's already loosed an arrow and hit her target before anyone else even moved.

'Silence' |

2 Actions just in case
Silence will growl and charge forward on his mount brandishing his Katana. "Come you silly foolish block of ice, face a true samurai!" [/b]
Using my Challenge ability - Silence takes a -2 to ac versus blue (not red!) and can add his samurai level to damage versus red. additionally all my allies gain a +1 circumstance bonus to melee attack rolls while i threaten the target. SILENCES temporary ac is 16 this round (charge)
charging katana: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (4) + 7 = 11 add +1 i think if im above them from being mounted.
damage: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10
charging bite: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (20) + 7 = 27
confirm: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (12) + 7 = 19
damage: 1d4 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6
crit damage: 1d4 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7
since it said everything off the path was difficult terrain i assume i can charge if not action 2!
Silence will growl and kick forward his mount moving 20 feet closer while knocking an arrow and looses it at the red elemental. Come silly Ice spirit, face a true samurai! Using same challenge ability on same elemental as detailed above!
bow attack: 1d20 ⇒ 16 add +1 if being mounted counts as being on higher ground above the small elementals.
damage: 1d6 ⇒ 2

Erika Darou |

Uh the snowman, cause she was trained on it.
Erika then sees the Elementals and takes a shot at the one closest to her. Blue
Attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 1

Hobbes 'Rat Trap' Bitterleaf |

"I knew it. We're all gonna die, to snowmen.." Hobbes draws his bow while moving forward 20 feet and fires.
Melee penalty at blue: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (9) + 5 = 14
1d6 ⇒ 2

Your Benevolent Dictator |

@Erika: your arrow goes right through the snowman without any visible effect.
@Silence: you can charge and get the +1 for melee attacks. Unfortunately, elementals are immune to critical hits. :-(
@Hobbes: should have fired at +1 (melee penalty) but would have missed regardless.
Silence's katana narrowly misses Red. Mule, however, manages to land a nasty bite. Erika and Hobbes miss Blue.
Holding on Blik's action. Everyone: remember that you started out above the top-right corner of the map.

Hobbes 'Rat Trap' Bitterleaf |

Forgot to actually add in the penalty for melee. My bad.

'Silence' |

Pssh immune pashune, Mule bit his cold butt hard good enough for me *lawls* I did sort of know that just like got caught in the moment

Blik |

Blik, with his spear already in hand will step forward five feet and swing at blue.
Attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (12) + 2 = 14
Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
"Return to your home river spirit!"

Blik |

Oh crap, sorry!
Blik will run forward 40ft brandishing his little spear.

Hobbes 'Rat Trap' Bitterleaf |

Firing at Blue: 1d20 + 5 - 4 ⇒ (15) + 5 - 4 = 16
1d6 ⇒ 1
Hobbes takes a shot and keeps moving forward.

'Silence' |

With a decidedly annoyed hiss Silence reversed his grip on the hilt of his katana and brought it down at the red ice elemental.
katana: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (17) + 6 = 23
damage: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8
Due to Silence's challenge on the red elemental all allies attacking it in melee get a +1 to hit.
Mule bites and kicks at the mobile ice block.
bite: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (7) + 5 = 12bitedamage: 1d4 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5
hoof1: 1d20 ⇒ 16hoof1damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
hoof2: 1d20 ⇒ 6hoof2damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5

Blik |

Blik runs down past Erika and Hobbes, dashing towards the blue Ice elemental. He'll raise his spear and thrust forward, nervously yelling out.
"You don't belong here, you should go!"
Attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 2 = 12
Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
Missing widely he'll add,
"Uh, please?"

Lyosha Neverhome |

His ears still ringing he try's his best to focus to bring his sword down on the elemental Red.
Enters Rage
Raging Greatsword: 1d20 + 5 + 1 ⇒ (14) + 5 + 1 = 20
Raging Damage: 2d6 + 6 ⇒ (5, 2) + 6 = 13

Lyosha Neverhome |

nice :3

Zsestrian Raven |

Sorry, I'm late!
"Don't say I didn't warn you!" Zses will shout to the ice elemental while aiming.
Crossbow to hit: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 2 = 17
Crossbow damage: 1d8 ⇒ 2
Zses will let out a triumphant laugh.*
*Cackle, for the lulz

Erika Darou |

I'm working on the assumption that Erika can shoot the blue one without moving.
Erika sees the first elemental fall, and curses at her bad luck. She nocks another arrow to her bow and lets it fly.
Attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 3

Blik |

Trying again, Blik with thrust forward with his spear at the blue elemental.
Attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (19) + 3 = 22
Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3

Hobbes 'Rat Trap' Bitterleaf |

Hobbes moves to melee blue.
1d20 + 5 + 1 ⇒ (10) + 5 + 1 = 16
1d4 ⇒ 3

Zsestrian Raven |

Zses will end laughing abruptly . A moment later he will start looking in contempt at the Ice Elemental*"Well, close enough. You don't seem to be able to hit anything at all, too." he will add with a chuckle**.
*Evil eye DC 14, -2 to AC, 7 rounds, Save reduce to 1 round
**Cackle

'Silence' |

The Samurai guided his mount torwards the remaining foe, flanking it as he brought his katana across his shoulder quickly. His mount too dipped its head and chomped at the giant moble ice-cube.
katana: 1d20 + 6 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 6 + 2 = 14
damage: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11
Mule
bite: 1d20 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 4 + 2 = 20
damage: 1d4 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7

Lyosha Neverhome |

Almost feel bad for blue :3
Neverhome wil join in on the barrage against the elemental.
Raging Attack: 1d20 + 5 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 5 + 1 = 12
Raging Damage: 2d6 + 6 ⇒ (1, 2) + 6 = 9

Lyosha Neverhome |

"Well that happened." He mumbles as he picks up the sentinel's longsword. He'll eye the snowman carefully before poking and prodding it with the sentinel's sword.
Pointy Perception: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (17) + 8 = 25

Zsestrian Raven |

As soon as the Ice Elemental is hacked into pieces, Zses will rush to the half-orc "Lyosha, can you stand? You need help! We'll get you fixed up in a moment!" he will turn and look with pleading eyes to the party, as if asking for help for Neverhome.
"I...I'm sorry" he will say while lowering his eyes, after the initial panic faded "I can't fight, and I can't even do well the little arcane babbling that Crow taught me..." Zses will bite his lips "Maybe, if I had been more careful, I would have known that approaching that thing was dangerous, and you wouldn't be here half-dead, for the second time in two days..." He will then turn silent as the raven landed on his shoulder.

Lyosha Neverhome |

Neverhome will face Zsestrian, quiet for a few moments before raising his hand and playfully flicking him in the head with his finger and thumb. "You worry too much." he'll say with a slight smirk.

Blik |

"That was so strange! Are snowmen often used in deadly magic?"
Blik will shake the ice from his spear-head.
"Don't worry Zsestrian, I don't think anyone could have seen that coming..."
Blik will scan around, trying to see if whoever left this trap has left any tracks behind.
Survival: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (19) + 9 = 28

'Silence' |

"Are you well friend Neverhome? The man of snow did not like being poked i see." He began his teeth curling back in a feline smile. "we should wiggle the healing wand on you yes yes? He further added dismounting and moving close to the edge of the stream carefully testing it to see if it could hold his weight successfully. In this weather falling into and under the ice was probably a very very very bad idea.

Hobbes 'Rat Trap' Bitterleaf |

"You just had ta agitate him didn't ya?"

Zsestrian Raven |

With effort, Zses will manage a faint smile to Neverhome.
I have to get stronger. I can't help anyone nor myself if I'm this weak. I have to be alive if I want to get my memory back...
Feeling Zsesstrian's worry, Crow will stare at him with black eyes.
Zse will then give a glance to the snowman, and try to remember what happened when the spell got off, while Crow will scan the area from the witch's shoulder.
Crow Perception: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (14) + 9 = 23
Zses Know.(Arcana) to determine the spell that damaged Neverhome: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (10) + 8 = 18

Lyosha Neverhome |

Looking down at his wounds Neverhome will take into account the state of his body "I suppose so. You get mauled enough times you stop keeping track of things like that."

Hobbes 'Rat Trap' Bitterleaf |

Healing Lyosha: 4d8 + 4 ⇒ (3, 4, 1, 2) + 4 = 14
Hobbes will graciously heal the wounded androgynous barbarian. "Quit whinin'. I'll take care of ya."

Lyosha Neverhome |

As the positive energy flows into him Neverhome gives done slight stretches of his arms and legs as his wounds close up. "Still not used to that. You have my thanks Hobbes.

'Silence' |

"Be careful when you begin to cross. The samurai began slowly beginning to edge his way on the the ice. Slowly and carefully he began to attempt to cross it to the other side. He was very thankful that they had the wand that allowed them to heal the others injuries. For whatever reason he had a bad feeling that the sentinals lodge wasnt going to be a friendly place. So far nothing Else had been. Well, except for the talking spirit elk... but he was still sure that was lunch not a friend. Maybe.

Your Benevolent Dictator |

The river ice is very thin in places, but by taking your time, you're able to cross without any unexpected baths. Half-buried in a snowbank on the other side is a frozen corpse. He appears to be a local farmer and carries a composite longbow (STR +1), 12 arrows, a dagger, a MW handaxe, and a pouch containing 14gp, 25sp, 18cp.
The trail continues southward along the ridge.
