Yeah! Who the f+#% dares to do what he said! roars another, similarly-equipped, shark-like humanoid of the same kind as the first, which steps into the hall at the opposite end of the party....
Two shark-men now flank The FOs, having emerged from offices further down either end of the hall....

A quick search of the offices from which these two Morays emerged reveals nothing of value or interest, so The FOs proceed to explore the inner lobby....
A defunct elevator stands just west of the doorway into the inner lobby, which is strewn with the bones and skulls of humans, and reeks of decay....
An overturned brochure rack and hundreds of brochures have also been strewn across the lobby amid the bones and skulls....

A storage room north of the men's room contains a variety of cleaning supplies, office supplies, file cabinets filled with obsolete records and files, and someone's stash of pornographic magazines in a cardboard box....
Returning to the outer lobby, the party searches the third office on the southwest side of the building, finding it empty of foes or items of interest....
A stairwell in the southwest corner ascends to the levels above....
As The FOs are finishing an initial, cursory examination of the stairwell, everyone make Perception checks, please....
And then roll initiative, please....

The FOs are in the hall near the southwest stairwell, in standard formation, with Derrik, Koran, and Mikey Jay forming a tight front line, Daisy, Radsworth, and Levinson behind them in the second rank, Yingzen likely sneaking around through the inner lobby to surprise and flank, and Kailin in back playing his flute or singing....
Ten fell figures draped in musty, black cloaks and cowls, with donkey-hooves in place of feet, lope down the hall, three abreast in the first three ranks, and a straggler forming a fourth rank, slavering and gibbering, and fixing their perceived prey with baleful, glowing, red eyes!

Seeing the large flux of enemies, Radsworth pulls one of the Golden beads from the recently looted Necklace of Fireballs. He pulls one of the larger beads, and flicks the ember into the midst of the largest grouping of foes, avoiding Kepler and any other fierce ones if possible. He will hit less enemies to avoid hitting allies.
