Derrik Stonesmith |

Derrik pulls his blade from the rended flesh of the otyugh he had fell and rushes towards the Cloaker at inhuman speed, Leaping into the air twisting his armored form into a circular motion and bringing Excalibur down in a devastating arch.
Acrobatics: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (1) + 9 = 10
Charging Powerful Aberration Bane Excalibur: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (20) + 16 = 361d8 + 14 + 2d6 ⇒ (5) + 14 + (2, 2) = 23
Derrik unfortunately does not Get as much air as he had liked but perhaps his falter in the air leads to a gruesome blow.
Confirm Excalibur: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (8) + 16 = 241d8 + 14 ⇒ (3) + 14 = 17
Well.. umm Vorpal.. Does it have a head? Also Does Derrik need to make a will save as well?

Chimera door guardian |

The otyughs and cloaker slain, The FOs advance to the rear of The ST....
Moving around the northeast corner of the great, gleaming office building, The FOs behold the front doors, which are guarded by a three-headed, dragon-winged monstrosity of a chimera, bound to its post by a long steel chain and collar around its lion neck!
It roars a challenge as The FOs approach, starting at a distance of 60 ft....
Initiative 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (5) + 5 = 10

Michael Johnson 66 |

Ground floor of The Silver Tower....
The FOs are about 60 ft east of the front doors and the chimera guarding them....

Cthulhu cultist |

Perception 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5 versus DC 15 to notice The FOs outside the office windows....fails....
I can't wait for the Summer Solstice Feast.... It's going to be so exquisite.... To drink the blood of a human sacrifice.... The revels.... The orgies.... So dope!.... I hope the sacrificial victims include some perfect super model b&$@*es.... I want to hear them plead for mercy and scream for death!.... Hate those skinny-ass b#%#~es!

Derrik Stonesmith |

Prof. Naomi Levinson |

Levinson casts Lesser Evolution on Kepler granting him the ability to smite his foes. Alignment Smite (Chaos), +1d6 good aligned damage on claw attack
Kepler roarcaws back at the chimera seeking to smite it in the name of law and order:
Powerful Charging Smiting Claw Attack: 1d20 + 11 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 11 + 2 + 2 = 19
Damage: 2d6 + 11 + 2 + 1d6 + 1d6 ⇒ (6, 3) + 11 + 2 + (4) + (6) = 32
Including cold and good damage and bard bonus

Kailin Kros |

Kailin begins his sining once again but it it obviously different this time. While obviously a song the music seems to be comprised of wheezing and coughing.
Use The Rheumy Refrain on the chimera. Your song emulates the sounds of a terrible illness, causing one creature you are aware of who can hear your song to develop a psychosomatic flu. If the target fails its Will save (DC 18), whenever it attempts any action other than moving up to its base speed or making a single melee attack (but not both) in a single round, it must succeed at a concentration check (DC 15) to avoid wasting its action because of a fit of coughing and sneezing.

Derrik Stonesmith |

Derrik Rushes into the Fiery Breath And Swings Excalibur With its glowing form seeking to behead the Red Dragon head after it breathed.
Charging Powerful Magical Bane Excalibur: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (10) + 16 = 261d8 + 14 + 2d6 + 2d6 ⇒ (2) + 14 + (2, 2) + (6, 6) = 32
Reflex Save: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (16) + 7 = 23

Derrik Stonesmith |

Derrik flicks his wrist to clean the blade of its blood and allows the glow upon it to dim. He looks upon the building with a foreboding appearance. Listening to if there is any reaction inside.
Perception: 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (13) + 18 = 31
Before turning to Mikey Jay with a fearsome stance.
" You would be correct, unfortunately not many can give credence to your idea.. They tend not to last long. Regardless, this was simply the guard-dog.. Whatever is inside is far worse. Not to mention the Piscodaemon leader; take care for any ambushes. "

Radsworth |

Radsworth watches Arthur with a growing sense of uneasiness. He isn't quite sure what it is, but the Paladins recent surge in skill and power have begun to trouble him.
"Bloody good show Arthur. Seems the rest of us only need watch at this point."
Rad checks Traveler and reloads the two rounds he has fired thus far. He finds himself keeping near Prof. Levinson. Their little force has changed so much lately, he figures she's more likely to understand his way of thinking than any of the others.

Derrik Stonesmith |

Derrik turns this time to Prof. Radsworth. Recently he had said little of his opinion on matters, relatively quiet since the Paradox Rout and Retrieving Excalibur.
Sense Motive: 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (14) + 17 = 31
He notes Rad's demeanor and his words carefully. At this point Derrik had become used to Arthur or his own name being used interchangeably to denote himself. Radsworth's words seemed uneasy or perhaps caked with a tinge of sarcasm, and the proximity to the other Professor, Levinson, who seemed to have a similar mindset in some ways. This prompted some thought in Derrik Especially after the Sudden disappearance of Mephos, one who had the taint of evil upon his person.
" Your resources are limited and more precious than a simple swing of a blade... The less you must use the better for us all... my recent prowess is just training that has paid off along with the aid of Excalibur. Nothing more. "
And Amazing Amazing Dice rolls

Cthulhu cultist |

Perception vs DC 15 to notice through the office windows that The FOs have just killed their guard-chimera....1d20 + 3 ⇒ (19) + 3 = 22
What the f#++!?....
One of two cultists in offices flanking the front doors notices the arrival of The FOs, and the fact that the chimera is lying motionless and missing its red dragon head....
Initiative 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (5) + 7 = 12

Prof. Naomi Levinson |

Kepler's Belated Reflex Save: 1d20 + 4 - 1 ⇒ (3) + 4 - 1 = 6
Unable to dodge the hulking Outsider takes the full force of the blow.
Kepler's HP=16. Apparently me singing Duran Duran's "The Reflex" while typing didn't help his odds...
As the battle concludes, Levinson briefly exchanges glances with the other professor as she bites her finger to draw a drop of blood.
Laying her hand on her mythical counterpart his bright blue wounds begin to mend themselves.
Lesser Eidolon Rejuvenation: 1d10 + 5 ⇒ (10) + 5 = 15 Kepler HP= 31
Looking back at Derrick:
"Well. At least it would seem we have someone trustworthy to carry such an artifact as Excalibur." she pats Radsworth on the back and gives a hardy (if not mildly forced) smile to the armoured man hoping to defuse the tension.
The last thing I want is a fight to break out where one of the contenders is worlds beyond what me and Keppy can manage...

Radsworth |

Radsworth shifts, tightening his grip on both his spellbook and Traveler.
"Yingzen, it's not a matter of skill. I'm fledgling in my power still. A novice. I have worlds more to discover and only a limited capacity to work with. Arthur and I have made our differences known to each other more than once, and I recall more than one time I've stood with him even through difference in opinion. Our goal is the same but what we consider acceptable margins of victory are greatly askew."
Rad smiles at Naomi, then looks back to Arthur.
"But regardless of what skill I possess here, Arthur could cut me in two before I finished the words to my first spell. Thats what his power is. If I had surprise, I might get halfway through my second. Then again, there's not one of us he couldn't dismantle and dismember without breaking a sweat.. is there Arthur? Maybe Koran. You might sweat a little with him."
Rad takes a cheesecloth from his pocket and wipes his hand-grease from Travelers hilt, letting the thought sink in with the others. Just how long could any of them stand, or even the group of them stand, if something happened and they had to stare down Arthur's fury. Even if a few survived, Rad would surely die, and likely Koran, would there be enough Fierce Ones left to carry on their work?
"Your mind has been pierced once before. If it happens again, and we not only were betrayed by your eyes but your actions and your sword we are doomed...Derrik."
Radsworth sighs. If only there were some contingency against a rogue Arthur. Until he grew in power however, their greatest weapon was also their largest liability.

Radsworth |

Slight edit, since I can't edit the post.
"Korans mind has been pierced before. I have had my faculties reduced. So had billy when he shot Kate. If it were to happen to you instead of one of us, we would be doomed...Deriik"
