Welcome to my Play-by-Post!
Here's the ctrl+P for all my games:
1. I've been running games since the late 1980s, I've seen a lot of editions. I started playing PFS with Slot 1 Season 0 at Gen Con. I'm solid with the PFRPG rules, but everyone makes mistakes. I'll try to be as fair as possible.
2. I'm a Venture-Lieutenant for Southern NH. If you're ever in the area, or you need help finding games/conventions there. PM me.
3. I post with a high rate of frequency. That being said, if you guys can post 2-3 times per day, awesome. If it's only 1/day I understand. No worries. Real Life Comes First (tm).
4. Feel free to preemptively roll Perception, Disable Device, etc. It makes the game run more efficiently. I ask only that you make sure minis are placed in their actual position in case your choices have consequences (good or bad.)
5. Let's get started:
Player Name:
PC Name:
PFS#:
Faction:
Day Job: Feel free to roll now.
Perception and vision/senses:
Initiative:
Notes: Anything I should know; passive abilities, boons that are way out there, etc. If you have abilities that are immediate actions that interrupt an enemy, I'll be as fair as possible, but you can help me out by telling me under what conditions you typically use it.
----------------------------------------------
Some expectations in my games:
That's about it! Looking forward to the game!
Simon~ |
Player Name: Andrew
PC Name: Simon
PFS#: 43439-51
Faction: Sovereign Court
Day Job: Craft (Clothing): 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (16) + 11 = 27 - Does not include bonus from Exchange faction members.
Perception and vision/senses: Perception +1, Low-Light Vision
Initiative: +7
Notes: Simon may be a wizard, but unlike some wizards, he has great social skills.
Rogar Cordan |
Forgot this was a 3 - 7. Switching to something in tier
Player Name: Edward McGee
PC Name: Rogar Cordan
PFS#: 145373-7
Faction: Grand Lodge
Day Job: none.
Perception and vision/senses: +17 darkvision, stonecunning
Initiative: +8
Notes: Rogar is a Str based dwarven monk. He has Improved Trip and Improved Grapple. May use the mythic version of one of his feats once.
I don't mind playing a pregen 7 if the party feels we need something different.
Oggil Redhand |
Player Name: Aerondor
PC Name: Oggil Redhand
PFS#: 100387-15
Faction: Scarab Sages
Day Job: woodcutter: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (3) + 7 = 10 <- may use take ten and star at end for 20 if it is still available.
Perception and vision/senses: Darkvision; Per +12
Initiative: Init +4
Simon~ |
Went ahead and posted character introduction so I don't go crazy at the beginning of Gameday VI.
Zora Magda |
Player Name:PJP
PC Name: Zora Magda
PFS#: 150786-13
Faction: Liberty's Edge
Day Job: Dancing for money: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (2) + 7 = 9 Apparently, it's not a great show...
Perception and vision/senses: +12 / +13 trapfinding
Initiative: +6
Notes:
Zora is a sneak, with a +17 stealth and hide in plain sight skill. Also, a few AC bonuses due to circumstances:
+4 dodge bonus to Armor Class against attacks of opportunity caused when you move out of or within a threatened area.
+3 AC for fighting defensively / +6 dodge bonus to AC for full defense
+1 dodge bonus to AC against attacks made by traps
I will probably explore ways to give her darkvision, but she doesn't have it yet.
Simon~ |
I will be travelling the week up to the Gameday, and Friday August 25th will be my trip back, so I may be a little delayed in my opening posts.
Rogar Cordan |
It looks like we are going high tier so a level 3 will have a tough time.
We have plenty of front liners. 2 Wizards. Simon is a good face.
We even have a Rogue. I don't think Kyra is the only playable pregen but in this case healer does seem to be about the only role we don't have covered.
Anwar Ibn Jad |
OK, with some tweaking about, and provided we don't actually start before Sunday, this guy reaches 5th level with some additional GM credit and is a bit more suitable to a group with lots of 6th and 7th level characters.
Player Name: Andrew Watson
PC Name: Anwar Ibn Jad
PFS#: 44523-25
Faction: Exchange
Day Job: Profession Merchant: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (11) + 9 = 20, if reroll still available at the end Day Job reroll: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (7) + 14 = 21, Minimum is 25gp due to Season 8 Exchange Boon
Perception and vision/senses: Perception +15, normal vision, Mirage has scent, low light vision and Perception +5
Initiative: +7
Notes: Anwar is a straight forward human druid, he doesn't have anything that works out of turn etc. I do have access to some non core spells as a result of the 5* GM boon, Blend, Ward of the Season and Bestow Insight although the latter isn't on his spell list. Mirage is a large sized snake who has reach, grab and combat reflexes. I cannot fail to direct her with handle animal and her default trick is to guard me. She probably wont take opportunity attacks until I have set her on something unless it is clearly threatening one of us.
Anwar Ibn Jad |
Large snakes have reach. Every example snake in the bestiaries or that I have found in any published work provides them with reach appropriate to a size (tall) creature, which, at size large, is 10'.
Simon~ |
Simon is going to scribe Bestow Insight. I also have that due to GM shenanigans, but for some reason didn't scribe it on this character (even with Enchantment being his focus...). So that's going to be 60 gp. (I marked it down for later on my stat block)
- 60 gp - Scribe Bestow Insight
- 800 gp - Scroll of Restoration (100 gp components)
- 2 PA - Scrolls of Lesser Restoration (x5)
Varian, for your benefit with bolded non-core stuff.... (The boon mentioned above lets me scribe Bestow Insight as any race but I don't think you can copy it from me unless you are human unfortunately)
1st - burning hands, cause fear, charm person, chill touch, detect undead, endure elements, expeditious retreat, feather fall, identify, mage armor, magic missile, ray of enfeeblement, reduce person, shield, shocking grasp, sleep (16 pages)
2nd - bestow insight (human only)ACG, blindness/deafness, command undead, continual flame, darkness, darkvision, false life, fire breathAPG, flaming sphere, ghoul touch, hideous laughter, knock, resist energy, rope trick, scorching ray, see invisibility, shatter, spectral hand, spider climb (38 pages)
3rd - deep slumber, fireball, fly, gaseous form, haste, lightning bolt, suggestion (21 pages)
Total pages: 95 pages (100 pages per spellbook)

Subtier calculation:
Simon~: 6
Anwar: 5
Rogar: 6
Varian: 5
Zora: 6
Oggil: 5
APL: 33/6= 5.5
Strictly speaking you're supposed to decide if I round up or down, but in this case it results in deciding between the 4 player adjustment or not. Unless I missed something, I'm going to run at Tier 6-7 with the adjustment. Given the specifics of the scenario, this makes the most sense (it's not a confidence in your combat, it's .... other things.)
Zora Magda |
Umm... apparently I forgot to apply my last chronicle.
I was auditing my character cause something didn't look right (and it turns out I had more money listed than I should have), and found that I have an additional chronicle that I never updated. This actually puts Zora at level 7 - am updating her now.
Notable additional skills: She gains darkvision 60' and uncanny dodge.
Sorry about that - I hope this isn't a problem.
Varian Jeggare |
Scribing (at the end of the scenario):
1st: Chill Touch, Detect Undead (20gp)
2nd: Command Undead, Continual Flame, Ghoul Touch, Hideous Laughter, Knock, Rope Trick, Shatter, Spectral Hand (320gp)
3rd: Deep Slumber, Fly, Gaseous Form, Haste, Lightning Bolt, Suggestion (540gp)
Oggil Redhand |
BTW, I don't think it makes a difference to tiering, but I just realised I'd not updated Oggil's stat block to level 6 on the forums.
-amazing what you note when going through a character sheet and see a level 6 ability, and then say.. woah, why do I have that?
Queue: embarrassed look.
Simon~ |
Funny story. Simon's diplomacy drops by 6 (at this level) in an antimagic field. His circlet of persuasion and enchanter bonus turn off. 33% of it is all magical charm. It's also worthy of note he has made a diplomacy check in an antimagic field.
I have GMed the adventure before but will chime in since Simon looks like he's the face here. (He's got decent bluff and intimidate too)
Dungeon Master S |
Just a heads up, I'll be AFK from 1500 EST today until about 2000 EST Monday. I'll be able to sneak in a post a day, but that's likely it.
Zora Magda |
I will be travelling the next two days, so probably won't post until Sunday. Zora's tactics generally are to acrobat into a flanking position and then sneak attack. Failing that, she tends to fight defensively with two short swords.
Dungeon Master S |
Hey guys, starting from about 2100 EST tonight until Saturday noon, I'm in 1 post per day territory. I'll try to make that post in the afternoon so others have enough time. By Saturday night I'll be back to normal.
Dungeon Master S |
We're not there yet, but is anyone going Slow Track?
