Both Azmur and Pentosh keep their footing as an abrupt splash of grease manifests underneath their feet. The woman also seems to resist the embrace of the haunt that attempts to paralyze her, as well. Pentosh curses as she slides out of the grease, the movement giving Kegan an opening to land a strike on her with his rapier. Much to her surprise, Azmur also lashes out with his scimitar of flame, landing a searing slash on her arm. "So, your true colors start to show. I was wanting to kill you at some point, anyways!" Pentosh hisses as she hurries back down the hallway to the west. As she rounds the bend in the hallway, the woman shouts at the top of her lungs: "THE INTRUDERS ARE HERE! NEAR THE TEMPLE!"

Kegan is around the corner and does not hear Melisande's question. It is obvious from his actions that at very least he is not threatening Azmur.

GM Irish202 |

Battle Map expanded to indicate corridor more effectively. Locke, I estimated your movement, feel free to adjust if needed.
Kegan quickly gives chase. “Seems your true color is yellow.” he says as he runs after her.
As Kegan rounds the corner, he sees a large snake creature with a female humanoid head at the far end of the hallway; her white hair braided tightly and her scale flecked with silver motes like stars. The creature seems to still be reacting to Pentosh's alert, as it is beginning to coil into action.
Meanwhile, Azmur stows his wand in his belt while archly lifting an eyebrow in Melisande's direction. The man gestures at his feet while uttering a quick phrase, and he abruptly lifts into the air several inches as he adjusts westward.

GM Irish202 |

Which of you two ladies is in charge?” Kegan calls out.
The reply to Kegan's question comes not from the two "ladies" in the hall, but a deep rumbling roar coming from the end of the hall that rips through the air and bounces off the stone walls in a reverberating cacophony. Loud THUD sounds can be heard tromping around, the tremor of the thuds causing loose pebbles on the stone floor tiles to dance and sitter about in all directions.
"DONT WASTE TIME ON PEONS, YOU SAY? COME TO YOUR DEATH QUICKLY THEN, VERMIN!" The taunting voice of what can only be the dragon Aeteperax blasts through the air.

GM Irish202 |

I assume I can’t see it, only hear it.
Correct, the voice seems to be coming from chamber beyond the naga.
“Are you the dragon calling itself Aeteperax? Are you saying these two are also mere peons and not worthy of consideration?”
Kegan's query is merely met with another wall-shaking roar that seems to almost causing the entire monastery to tremble. Pentosh withdraws away from Kegan down the hallway and around the corner into the larger chamber. The naga advances forward, the look of injured fury now adorning her face.
"Not worthy of consssideration? Aeteperax holdsss me in the highessst regard!" the creature hisses at Kegan as she begins undulating hypnotically back and forth; her scales beginning to sparkle and shimmer in a fascinating pattern.
Will need a DC 17 Will save from Kegan to avoid becoming fascinated. This is not a mind-affecting effect, unfortunately.
The door directly south of Testudo abruptly opens, revealing a large armored grioth on the other side wielding what appears to be a falchion made out of voidglass. He slashes at the turtle knight with a vital strike, but Testudo is able to barely deflect the strike in time! Beyond the grioth, the rest of the room can be seen; a chamber lined with two rows of four pillars covered in engravings and prayers. More notably, the huge-sized green dragon paces sinuously at the far end of the chamber; the creature clutching an ebony staff in one of its claws. Its eyes narrows as it catches sight of Testudo, letting off another roar of challenge in his direction.

Melisande wasn't able to cast the spell during round 3, as she pulled the scroll and moved. If she casts during Round 4 and you were delaying until she casts, your round 3 action is wasted; it doesn't roll over for 2 actions during round 4. In case this changes how you would like to do things.

@ GM,
Ah, you are correct. I am getting ahead of myself. I will just have waited until she had cast and move to west of Testudo then on round 4. The resist energy is too important to pass on.

GM Irish202 |

"YOU FIENDISH BAT-CREATURE, JUSTICE WILL BE DELIVERED UNTO YOU. ROSHI, BITE HIM!"
Testudo's first attack and Roshi's bite land on the grioth, drawing first blood on the creature. To the west, Kegan advances down the hallway to follow the naga; the swashbuckler fascinated by the sparkling before him.
Then will 5 foot-step over and poke her head around the corner to take a peek at the Dragon and the Grioth for some knowledge checks passing along everything she recalls to the party.
You are aware of everything already stated by Kreighton about green dragons. Additionally you know that magic weapons work best against its defenses, that most green dragons possess water-breathing abilities, and that more powerful ones can move through undergrowth and foliage unhindered. More experienced dragons possess sorcerous talents and a blend of nature/enchantment focused spell-like abilities.
Previous Checks also made on Grioths as well. Same information, with this grioth, he just appears to have class levels.
You identify the bat-like creatures as 'grioths,' denizens of the Dark Tapestry that infest rogue planets that have been cast away from the stars. They are immune to cold and have a sensitivity to bright light...Grioths possess the ability to channel their psychic energy through weapons made out of a material called 'voidglass,' causing it to potentially deal more damage or even inflict confusion on weak-minded individuals. Their bites can inflict poisons that could affect their victim's confidence (e.g. shaken), and they can insinuate their psyche into their victim's mind to confuse them as well.
Azmur finishes his casting, leaving the air in the vicinity mildly humid and smelling strongly of ozone. He pulls out a handful of tree bark from a pouch, crushes it while whispering more incantations; causing his skin to appear to harden and become more defensive.
Meanwhile, Aeteperax adjusts backwards five feet seeing his narrow window of attack not worthwhile. The dragon makes a swift gesture with its claw, causing a splat of grease to abruptly cover Testudo's lance! The weapon becomes too slippery for him to grasp, and it clatters to the ground next to him.

"VALOR, BRAVERY AND JUSTICE!!"
The second lance attack could potentially hit, but I need that lovely DC 13 Reflex each round the lance is used while greased.
I hold no item in hand, at the time. Nonlethal punch self?
It would be lethal damage, oddly due to the wording of confusion. Regardless of whatever you use, it results in lethal damage.
I assume the pillars will count as diametrically opposed
Yes. You can also assume this well-known musical number began playing through my head when I read that; as you are diametrically opposed, foes.
The abrupt explosion of webs ensnares Pentosh, while annoyed hissing can be heard coming from an odd web-free naga-shaped empty area south of the dragon. Aeteperax does a barrel roll in the air as the webs manifest, causing the sticky strands to billow away from him as they stretch upwards.
Azmur gathers more healing energy into his free hand as he walks through the air just above Tereze and Melisande's head, reaching and touching Testudo to heal some of the burgeoning damage that the grioth is dealing him.
Aeteperax lets loose an annoyed roar as the webs loom around him, and with a might flap of his wings the dragon shoots through the sticky strands to land on the ground behind the grioth. He rears his massive head back and lunges forth to bite Testudo with vicious force that rocks him in his saddle!

Does Pro evil give Testudo +2 to his saves vs this spell? And I assume you are adding the +2 to his AC?
The Lantern Archon shoots two light rays at Goladryth.
Light Ray (Touch): 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (14) + 3 = 17
damage: 1d6 ⇒ 1
Light Ray (Touch): 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (11) + 3 = 14

Note these light rays bypass all DR
Meanwhile Tereze feels her life force flow across the link healing her allies. (Testudo, Kegan and Locke heal for 5 HP each.)
Tereze (-25), Kegan (-15) Locke (-23) and Testudo (-50)
Then Tereze uses some of her blessing to remove the curse that was put on Testudo's Lance.

Does Pro evil give Testudo +2 to his saves vs this spell? And I assume you are adding the +2 to his AC?
It would only give him +1 on saving throws due to his cloak of resistance not stacking. I did miss the +2 on his AC for the attack during round 5 (would not have made a difference on dragon bite), however; I will retro his 27 HP back for the error.
The Lantern Archon shoots two light rays at Goladryth.
Both rays strike the grioth directly, dealing a little damage.
Pentosh curses at the sticky webbing, pulling out another vial and drinking it. Her form instantly dissolves into mist, the webs losing hold of the alchemist as she floats away from the area ten feet. The naga-shaped hole in the webs abruptly becomes filled with webs as the sounds of slithering can be heard in that general direction. The grioth continues assaulting Testudo, one attack again slipping by his defenses.
