Actually, Blue tried to decapitate Alia's estoc. Given how large Alia's body is that should be obvious to Scarlet. That and of course, Alia's head didn't roll off. ;)

Well in that case, just as a remainder: I am always at one point lower Arcane Pool because I use Fortify Bond each morning, so hardness + hp are +4. And objects are immune to crits. Hang in there, little blade!

I was thinking more of the 1 arcane pool point your sword always keeps to itself that makes it unbreakable (Ex, As long as it has at least 1 point in its arcane pool, a black blade is immune to the broken condition).

Yeah, it will always have that one point, but so far, it has not awakened - none of the bladebound things were active up to this point, so... I was just going with the soul forger aspects that were- that said, if that's a setup to reforge it into Adamantine from Bank, I'm game. I mean, we don't have a proper rogue so stabbing locks would be a decent option, right? ^_^

Miles just looked to the fey, not knowing why on earth this potential companion to the party is doing nothing, but he had to do something to get Angus out of that darkness since he couldn't see inside. That's when he decided to do something he always had a skill for. Winding people up.

I'm not sure what part of the phrase 'quizzical looks' imparts the idea of omniscience, but there were a number of dwarves dispatched down to the village earlier to rouse the company and prepare them to move as well as few left to watch the approach to the castle. Seeing a calmly (but madly on the inside) gesticulating half-elf on the battlements, shouting a--well, really not at all clear message is a bit confusing to them. They know Hotspur is there, because they're are watching the road. The castle fire just went out, so how someone is burning anything is beyond them (though they certainly hear Arbalasti's bombs--which they know the sound of). They can't really see the portcullis because the "gates" are "closed", which is probably a bigger concern. So it all seems a bit odd and leaves them scratching their helmets, which might be a good thing depending on what Illthir is trying for... maybe? Half-elves. Go figure.

Bloddy Angus flies into a inarticulate, murderous rage, (this does nothing to abate his song however and actually only improves the rageful song) but he can't find the target of his sputtering Scottish-sounding aggression.

I'm going to ready snapdragon fireworks, and cast it when I see Arbalasti actually cast. Maybe it will force a concentration check. Hoping the sloping roof will give me some cover.

I'm still holding a charge - being unconscious or previously disarmed does not alter that. :P He touches my precious, precious gives him frostbite! Unless my blade is also unconscious - but hey, worth a try, I think it would be thematically fitting for my Estoc to use the charge funnneled through it in self-defense :P

Running out of rounds here. I've only got 15 in total and I'm on 11 now, if my calculations are correct

Miles continues his performance, losing more words and knowing that the performance was coming to an end. He could probably keep it up, but there'd be no benefit to anyone and he had to deal with Angus somehow. He stepped to the side and used his gnomish powers to throw his voice by the well.

Ghost Sound. Will save DC 16 to Disbelief

"Angus! I think I see your wife down here!" the sound goes off, appearing to come from the well "Big and green, just like you like them!"

Just want to ask one or two questions. Under information about Vanish and other invisibility spells is states that spells that target or include an enemy in their AoE would reveal the presence and break the invisibility, however, it also says anything that doesn't cause an offensive action you'd remain visible like opening and closing doors, moving stuff etc. Summoning creatures because you don't deal damage directly.

I mention this because I want to ask about the possibility of putting up grease beneath him, but I don't want to do it if it breaks my invisibility.

I also assume the charm person and blindness/deafness would cause an issue too and break the spell.

Also I wanted to ask about the ability he has with channeling his rage. I was curious if the spell "Calm Emotions" could negate it, however I couldn't find anything to suggest this. Perhaps you know or could do a ruling? I was thinking of getting into a situation where I could attempt to disrupt his ability with Calm Emotions can do that. It's only because it's somewhat rage-based that I'm making this assumption, but I've seen no evidence to suggest I could stop it.

When you say channel rage ability do you mean Angus's skald ability to inspire rage via raging song? If so, Calm emotions works against both inspire and rage effects so it should work fine for suppressing inspired rage.

Ghost sound is fine to use and retain invisibility (it does not directly target even though there is a save) as are most of the "image" spells depending upon how they are applied, but everything else on your list specifically targets the individual or area that an individual is in calling for an immediate save. The only way grease doesn't break invisibility is if you cast it on an unattended object or bit of ground no one is currently standing on.

Miles ghost sound doesn't allow you to throw your voice (that's ventriloquism), so it is still coming form your mouth, you can make other non-distinct verbal noises, or just noises if you like.

The courtyard is actually down at the bottom of some stairs currently occupied by your comrades and bottlenecked by some angry dwarves. There is no up the tower until you go down, unless Zokon is climbing its outside.

What can Zokon see of the bottleneck when he gets to it, are the angry dwarves between him and his friends or behind them?

Well, there's this map thing you see. It is meant to save me about a thousand words every time I draw a player's attention to it. If anyone at anytime has trouble viewing the map let me know. I know Google Slides sometimes does not update the maps as they change on phones, and I occasionally have to shut the app off and reopen it to get things to change.

In short, Zokon is at the top of a very steep stair about 30-and-change-feet up above the courtyard. Down a few steps from Zokon is Serena, and down from her is Durgan. Down at the foot of the stairs are a couple of dwarven mercenaries swinging axes at Durgan. It looks like he has felled a third dwarf. If Zokon is trying to get to the top of the church bell/beacon tower he needs to get down the stairs and into the cathedral and then up a long spiral stairwell that runs along the tower's inside wall.

His other options are climbing the outside of the tower (there's still a rope), or move south along the battlements to the square southern tower and down the stairs there and through the great hall where he had supper and out into the courtyard and from there into the cathedral and up the tower. Jumping down a few stories is also a possibility.

I believe Durgan was hoping you could open a way for him to move by firing down at the dwarves keeping him on the stair.

Zokon's arrows have difficulty finding a mark around his friends, but Durgan's axe finds a helmet. There is a sickening crunch and a dwarf topples.

Well, not really.... When climbing you roll each time you take a move action to move (or when you get jostled), and normally you move at 1/4 speed, so Scarlet is still 20' up with a standard action available.
