Its 'Large', and you hit its cover but after reviewing the tape/map I'm going to give it to him. Zokon has a better angle on creature than the people on the shrine roof. The arrow does about 2/3rds the damage that a glancing blow like that would have done to a more solid foe (the equivalent of taking off a bit of a person's ear). PS for everyone who might not know, the tall bits of crenelations on battlements are called 'merlons'.

Durgan moves and casts Resist Energy (Fire) on Lady Luljeta Vsevolod.
Not the most optimal thing from a combat standpoint, but it seems very in character. Durgan is a big believer in sacred hospitality, and that extends to a guest protecting their host if the host is attacked.

Yes. These steps are particularly steep (ascending about 12 feet every 5 foot horizontal section).

Illthir heads down the stairs to attack the closest flame. If it weren't for her trance she'd be worried about the steep angle. Now those concerns were just a nagging feeling in the back of her head, insignificant compared to the glory of battle!

The solid part of the hammer mostly just passes through the elemental's form while the spirit of the hammer supplies most of the impact.

The creature lashes out with claws of flame! "जला दो!" it rages.

Scarlet's used to it. With her shortsword in one hand and hammer in the other, she starts clobbering the Blue-tinted flame in front of her.

Welcome back!

Scarlet bludgeoning damage only.

The fire elemental dodge Scarlet's first blow while the surprise follow up hammer just passes through the thing's fiery core. It is the aura of (Super Saiyan) power emanating from Scarlet, thanks to Illthir's song, that effects the fire most though. It buffets the elemental like a torch in a strong wind.

Serena's physical scimitar bifurcates a bit of the human-sized flame, but the fire just flows around the sword and is mostly whole again by the time the scimitar's blade emerges trailing smoke.

Zokon damage format works fine for me so long as I can quickly gather where all the numbers are coming from.

Zokon's arrows go wide of their somewhat indistinct mark.

Durgan not a problem with retro activity during a block of initiatves's turn just so long as it would actually be possible to accomplish somewhere in there and all on Duragan's turn. There are times when because of movement, spacial relations, and readied or otherwise triggered actions that this might not be possible.

Zokon is actually within Bless range now - just at the edge, at 50' - but in fact Durgan cast it when he was just north of Lady Vsevolod and then he moved. It's a burst, not an emanation, so as long as you were within 50' when it was cast you are covered.

Miles nods as he listens to Alia, he notices her suddenly get up as to follow the others and nods.
"Knowing them lot, they'll probably in trouble without you around..." however as he followed her he found out exactly how correct he was. "Well...those weren't there last time I was up there."

Round 2

Miles decides to clear his throat, he had hoped this situation may not need to reveal itself until later, however, it's clear that they needed help. Just before he begins to sing he gives a wink to Alia before he starts out with a familiar melody.

Zokon can have his bless bonus and everyone can have their inspire as well.

Bless Bless fills your allies with courage. Each ally gains a +1 morale bonus on attack rolls and on saving throws against fear effects.

Inspire courage An affected ally receives a +1 morale bonus on saving throws against charm and fear effects and a +1 competence bonus on attack and weapon damage rolls. Began round 2 (I updated the round's damage).

Aliabot rushes up the stairs and summoning her arcane power strikes the fire elemental with her long blade.

Move, swift to spend 1 point from her arcane pool, and strike (hopefully).

estoc (two-handed, arcane pool, inspired): 1d20 + 7 + 1 ⇒ (9) + 7 + 1 = 17 damage: 2d4 + 4 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (2, 3) + 4 + 1 + 1 = 11 Hit... just.

After Illthir's attack the black blade has no trouble in extinguishing the fire elemental.

The sound of dwarf curses fills the bell tower as the pyre jumps a bit as someone below tries pushing on the trapdoor that it has been set upon.

"आइए! HAHA! आइए!" laughs the large elemental.

The challenge shakes Scarlet for a moment. While the large one taunts the smaller elementals attack.

blue slam v Scarlet: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (13) + 7 = 20 damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3 Hit; make a reflex save (DC 14 at a -2 for shaken) or catch fire which probably only matters (maybe) for your equipment.

Embarrassed for having fallen, the orange flame collects itself and quickly moves to intercept Miles.

Milesbot japes a bit in his trousers at the sight of the advancing fire elemental. He spins around as if he was on a pivot and hurries for some cover in the direction of the baths.

Milesbot antagonize (diplomacy) v orange: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (15) + 10 = 25

Aliabot rushes up the stairs and over to the side of the tall tower along with Illthir. As they rush along thoughts of how they are going to (or more-likely not) scale the walls move though their consciousness like unheeded iceberg tops in a foggy ocean. There are not good ways to fire up at the large fire elemental from this angle (in fact it has total cover).

There are no doors though there are some narrow arrow slits that look in on an open spiral stairwell full to bursting with dwarven mercenaries. At the top lip there is a wooden ladder--also thick with dwarves who are trying to shove upward against trapdoor that seems weighed down with something very heavy. The ladders topmost rung snaps and the dwarves there tumble down into their fellows. Some if not for the hands of their fellows nearly slip over the edge of the stair and into the open space at the heart of the tower.

Then as Aliabot and Illthir close, they notice a bit of silken black rope hanging from the battlements (the little blue dot to the side of the tower). It dangles to about 20' feet above the ground far below.
