Got two characters:
Frigga Burimar: Female Dwarf Fighter
Ishak: Kobold Sorcerer (Dragonblood)
Frigga was designed for Kingmaker, willing to tweak her.
Ishak was built for my Homebrew, willing to tweak him.
Interested in AP's and Homebrews.

When people say APs, are they strictly referring to the multi-book Paizo type stuff?
I ask because I just started a recruitment thread for a loosely connected 3-module solo campaign, non-Paizo.
Yes, typically, though I don't think anybody will be up in arms, and anyone who builds a character ought to read your intro and quickly realize what you are about. I would just say 3 modules combined into a campaign and maybe give the level spread you imagine covering.

Hey all, I have an Orc Barbarian I am looking to get into a Carrion Crown game.
I've played a bit of Pathfinder, but very few play-by-post games and those I have played have not been on sites like this with built in dice rollers and things so it may take me a bit to acclimate, but I should get it pretty quickly. I work a lot so don't expect periodic posts from me throughout the day, but if I get into a campaign I will definitely make it a priority to check the board and make a post every night after work.
Also, while I have played Pathfinder I have never played in the official setting. I looked up info while writing Gren's story, but a lot of what I could find on wikis was pretty sparse, at least where Orcs were concerned. If anything I've written clashes with setting info just let me know and I'll be sure to change it.

Browse the different sign up sheets. When you see a scenario you like, fill in the appropriate blanks. You'll get a PM when the DM is ready to run that game. There is more information under the "Campaign Info" tab.
You don't have to start at level 1 for any of the games. You can jump between DMs too. You just can't have the same character in two different games at the same time.

Right. Got two characters available to a couple games that I am interested in.
First up I have Alayi AhMheed. A Ifrit swashbuckler for either Legacy of Fire or Mummy's Mask.
Then I got Mary Morrickson. A human Musketmaster Gunslinger for either Rise of the Runelords or Shattered Star.
I hope that either one can get into their respective pbp. Also added these two to the registry document at the top.

Oh, I forgot to mention: Gren's backstory isn't 'done' yet. I want to try to attach it to one of the other PC's if I get into a game, but obviously I need a game first with another PC who's cool with that. I think that would really cement her reasons for adventuring into human lands more.

Hello Everyone, I've got two characters that I'll have submitted to the AP Tab shortly.
First one I've got is Tarin Frey, Male Human Rogue for Skull & Shackles
and second is Nosvus Zhah, Male Elf Ranger for Serpents Skull
I would be more interested in playing Skulls & Shackles first, however if Serpents Skull is offered, I'd accept.

I don't have a pre-made character, but if anyone ends up running a "beginner" style of adventure, I'd be interested in trying out a monk. Never played PF, but I've done a bunch of D&D and other d20 games. Recently got an itch to try a monk and the PF version of one seems like it could be a lot of fun. Not familiar with PF, though, so something more on the basic spectrum (or with a group that is okay with the fact I don't have years of experience) would be preferred.

You might try Pathfinder Society. Open recruiting for scenarios happens regularly in the Flaxseed lodge thread.

Besides hating dragons i don't know much about the world outside of wooded lands. My family, my whole tribe, was taken from me whilst i hunted. The scorched earth and melted bodies left only one possible foe, a young black dragon. The claws were too small for it to have been any older, and its acidity still left a few trees standing. Perhaps it was just hungry, i do not know, but for the last 20 yearsihave been honing both my skill with the bow and my woodcrafting to make superior arrows. One day i hope to craft an arrow worthy of burrying its point in the heart of this beast. Until then, i sell my wares of skin and fletchery in the local towns and villages and keep my eyes on the sky.

Large cat looking for adventure, decent mastery of standard pathfinder rules, rudimentary knowledge of 5e(basic rules only),no knowledge of 3.5. Have working knowledge of gestalt, but not mythic, psionic classes nor spheres of power system. Willing to read through long player guides and new systems(as long as they are easily available online, free of charge). Can at least post twice a day, more then that is chancy.
I am interested in mostly homebrew stuff, not interested in the following items(played before/read campaign journals/overheard a conversation/game in progress - generally know too much):
Reign of Winter
Serpent's Skull
Way of the Wicked
Age of Worms
Iron Gods
Rise of the Runelords
Skull and Shackles
Hells Rebels
Carrion Crown
Wrath of the Righteous
Giantslayer
Mummy's Mask
Any PFS Scenario/ Module
Can and will roll anything that the group needs, within pathfinder rules.

Hi all, brand new to PFS, interest piqued from playing PACG. been reading through the rules and have a good understanding of it. Looking to try my hand at any game. Thinking of starting a non-magic character as a start and pick up mechanics fully from there. Also from Asia so in a totally different time zone.

Hello GMs!
I'm an active player in two games right now, and I'm looking for a third game. I've recently built a few characters that I'd love to play. I will enter these in the Google sheet as well as link them here.
Renvil Ratarion (Human Bard) is an up-and-coming playwright in Kintargo who lost both his work and (most likely?) his love in the Night of Ashes. He's built for Hell's Rebels and could be adapted to most settings that need a strong party face.
Pava Arioch (Human Cavalier) is a former child of the streets returning to Longacre after failing Inquisitor training. She's a diabolist who feels that Asmodeus--while important--isn't more important the greater workings of Hell itself. She's built for Hell's Vengeance and (as and evil character) may only work there.
Yab Erdun (Oread Monk) is a rare oread born to dwarves, looking to find adventure under the crust of the earth. He's built for Throne of Night and could be adapted to most underground settings.

Hi people:
TGTG here.
I hate the recruitment process. It's long, it's arduous, and it's annoying. I have so many character concepts it's not even funny, and it takes a long time to make character sheets for PbP.
It's worth it, and I go through all the work to make them nice, as you can tell by my aliases, but it's annoying to go through all that and then get rejected and have to either a) start the process all over entirely for another application you might get dropped for anyway, or b) try to shoehorn your character into another game they weren't even really designed for. Even if you get in, when a GM flakes on you or half the players in under 100 posts, that's almost as frustrating, if not more so.
I want to get into a game...a story-based game, but I want some combats and stuff, because I wouldn't be playing Pathfinder if all I wanted to do was talk. Still, I'd be playing a videogame if I never wanted to talk.
So if you're looking for a player with a good record of long-term posting, check me out. See my "The Green Tea Overseer" alias? That's one of my GM aliases - right now for PbP I'm only GMing. I'm happy to throw together a character for a game. Like I said...so many concepts. Just...one where the players or the GM don't flake shortly into the series.
Karist |
Hey folks,
Karist here - was in a pretty cool green tower game that just faded away into silence. Level one storm druid...would like to play and am a fairly consistent poster in a game. Like the writing and the drama of the story as well.
Also, I have a tiefling witch - Syrnisha that is also level one...would be a great one to play as well. Here is that linkhttp://paizo.com/people/SyrnishaAltholt
Both are part of a story adventure I am writing and working on too...if there is interest in that, ping me and I can send a link.
Thanks for taking the time to read.

"Harbormaster" Enzio recently came into owning/running a dock in a city, whether through legal or simply claiming territory, depending on nature of the city's government. A deed in the pot for poker or a sword thrust into a "boss" doesn't matter - Enzio has claimed a dock as his. As charming as he needs to... feral actions are within his arsenal.
Enzio has the interests of the city at heart, while trying to protect and grow his dock business. Currently, the dock is in disrepair so ships' captains sail by Pier 42 to take their goods to different docks within the city.
A nearby gang wanted to expand their territory to Pier 42, but Enzio slew the gang members wanting tribute. Enzio now feels to eyes of the Gangleader upon him, assuming that the Gangleader will try to annex Pier 42 at a moment of weakness or after Enzio built up Pier 42 to actually make money.
Enzio seeks adventure within the city due to patriotic tendencies... but also to fulfill issues of payroll for employees, repairs to the dock, trade agreements with ship (or barge) captains, and a group of friends that would fight to defend his territory.
With dreams of expanding into vacant warehouses, even starting a fishery to help feed those within the community, Enzio has the beginnings of a Lord Protector and / or crimelord. Probably both.
Enzio would best be in a city based campaign (or Kingmaker), where he is able to adventure to improving the lives of those that under his protection.
I have not played in a pbp, nor am I familiar with Pathfinder having played 3.5. I can see Enzio as a Venice "noble", a pirate in Port Peril, a Con Man in Riddleport, cleric in Absalom, or a nasty bastard in Magimar. Leadership is obviously a feat that Enzio would take, but the cohort and followers would remain at Pier 42. I would post 5 times a week. Probably more. Maybe less.

Hello folks,
I'm new to the PbP approach, but I have a number of discrete character and (I think) interesting concepts that I'd love to play and I can cover pretty much any party role.
I'm currently playing in book 2 of a Council of Thieves game at home and running a high-powered Giantslayer game that's coming to the end of book 4.
I'd be very interested in playing an Occultist in Strange Aeons, but I'm open to other settings or campaigns.
I'll be updating my forum aliases to reflect level 1 versions of my characters, as none of them have been used in a PBP
Jade Scarlett |
Hello!
I'm a bit new to Pathfinder, and to RPGs, but I have bought quite a few of the books and have worked on this character, a Sacred Shield Paladin willing to take on the tank combat role, and 'face' out-of-combat role. With high charisma and good armor, Jade can antagonize enemies to fight her rather than the rest of the group, but her Bastion of Good ability means that even if a powerful enemy attacks her teammates, as long as they stay near her they take half damage!
I, uh, hope I explained that okay. I'm up for any campaign, at any level, just be aware that I can be fairly busy at times, but I will try my best to keep up! Just PM me if you're interested in this character :D

@The Pale King What is Zeitgeist? I don't see that on the list of Paizo adventure paths. Is it third party? I know the German translation of the word, so I'm a bit interested in what the adventure path is.
So can I just add my name to the list with possible character concepts? Do I need to make aliases for them first?

I'm highly interested in getting involved in adventures or campaigns, short or long, if anyone out there is willing to take someone new to the site on. I'm not new to Pathfinder, but the one game I play uses the core rulebooks and an original setting. Nothing else.
You'll notice that I don't have any characters listed, and that'd be because I've never had the opportunity to play here prior! However, with boredom due to my physical disability, I'm very eager. I also find it difficult to design a host of characters when I don't really know what my target audience even allows, much less wants.
If someone chooses to contact me indicating they have space and would like me to fill it, I'd be happy to try and tailor a character to the campaign's needs. I prefer at least somewhat magically inclined individuals, but I am open to considering anything.
Thanks!

Also Re: Zeitgeist
How does the Zeigeist setting compare to Eberron? That was always one of my favorites, particularly because I just had a great deal of fun with the Artificer I had in that campaign. Are there any additional classes in the Zeitgeist setting that would reflect the kind of "magical engineer" feel that the artificer had?
Your Benevolent Dictator |
I'm not familiar with Eberron, but Zeitgeist is a very steampunk-esque campaign. Guns are commonplace, but they haven't invented the advanced firearms yet, and there's still plenty of sword/bow/axe/etc users.
While there are no new base classes, PCs have a choice of factions they can join. Each has a three-level PrC that's powerful, thematic, and easy to enter.
Alice in Blunderland |
I read through Zeitgeist after I was told what it was and I am loving it. It's sort of like a steampunkier, Victorian sort of Eberron. It has a lot of schemes and intrigue.
It starts out with a pretty cool premise, evolves into awesome once a certain group comes into the foreground, and ramps out to absolutely epic proportions in the last few adventures.

@Monsieur Orgon I probably would be if I can be given a week or two to prep for it after release. I want to get registered as a PFS GM in case people want to play it for credit.
I need to see if it is what I'm hoping it is first though.
Horror is VERY hard for most people to nail down... especially antediluvian/cosmic/psychological horror. I have faith in Paizo though.
Before people ask, no gestalt. I don't do gestalt unless it is a villain I am buffing up.

I agree, Zeitgeist is looking more amazing the more that I read it.
It's not just a really good AP either... it has some really good philosophical questions that pop up and really make you think about things.
That and the game has an endgame more epic and multiverse-changing than any that I have ever seen.
