Southwest? Follow the right wall? The place is a bit of a maze. Can Zimdoz can creep up to that ledge and peek over the edge? If so, he will using steath, taking 10.

Zimdoz, the ledge (i'm assuming you mean the one in A3) looks out onto the beach you first arrived at, but there is nothing there.

Heading southwest, the temperature drops noticeably in this passageway, and a rime of white frost lines the walls and floor leading into the cavern beyond. What seems to be a light layer of brown dust carpets the cave floor beyond- a body of some sort sits slumped against the eastern wall.

”Hey, take a look all, there’s brown dust at the bottom of this cave - does that seem odd to anyone else? And why is it so cold? And... what killed him? We’ve already fought animated mold, could that be more of it?

”Anyone got a bit of rope? Maybe we could pull that unfortunate fella up here without going into whatever that dust is. It could be Khonnir for all we know. Ugh, this place is disgusting.” Zimdoz shudders. ”Maybe I could poke it a bit and see who it is.” He grabs his longspear and attempts to poke the body with the blunt side to move it (if it is within range of the edge of the ledge) and look at the guy’s face.

You manage to move the body over, some of the mould flies into the air but you manage to avoid it. The body appears to be a male human wearing a masterwork chain shirt. As well as the mould in the cavern, the body is also covered in a strange red mould as well.

Alldur you are unable to recall anything about the mould, however you recognise the body of a human rogue called Gerrol Sonder, he was a member of Khonnir's expedition. You recall Gerrol recently asked a weaponsmith's daughter named Emelia Otterbie to marry him. Emelia would undoubtedly want to know Gerrol's fate.

'I think he was one of Khonnir's men. Gerry, Errol, Gary, something like that. Probably best if we can recover his body.' Alldur squats down at the edge and tries to figure out a way to safely get the corpse out of the mold.

You could probably pull it out of the first lot of mould by looping rope around the corpse's legs but it would still be covered in the second red sort of mould.

Amon approaches Alldur, checking if he can somehow help. His ability with aerokinesis, however, is still not advanced enough to be able to move the mold with pure air.

If we can't recover the body, maybe we can at least bring news of his destiny back to the town. - says the android, without much emotion - We should probably check for anything useful, then move on.

The ceiling of this vast chamber rises nearly thirty feet overhead. A five foot wide ledge runs along the western wall,sloping down to the cave floor ten feet below. Four ramshackle huts made of what appear to be strips of metal, hides and some sort of fibrous plant matter sit in the cave, while to the south yawns a dark pit.
