En route to the place, Jack comments aloud that he hasn't been to Aria Park since the fateful day of the protest-turned-riot. He thinks back on that day, trying to recall a word Canacha had used that day. At last, he remembers the elusive term.

"Everyone watch where you step!" he says with a smirk. "I'll bet that Thrune's big, ugly bodyguard walks her savage puppems in these parts."

"I'll take a casual stroll through to get the lay of the land...and a count of the guards," he adds.

Jack takes the long way back to the others to avoid spooking the CCG goons. He reports that there are four Thrunies--two watching each end of the bridge to the doghouse.

Turning to Canacha he smiles and adds, "Plus there are two big puppems of the non-firebreathing variety...also one at each end."

"Should we split up and take on both sides of the bridge at the same time or concentrate on one side, and the puppems? I suggest the stick together and take on one side plan myself."

"Thinking about it logically, we've got two dedicated fighters, one of whom can actually hit something," She smirks. "One ranged combatant, one melee combatant who switches into healing, and one 'makes everyone else's lives easier.' Since we don't know what sort of backup they might be able to call, with a group like this it'd make the most sense to do exactly what you're thinking, Lena. We go over one side, if they do call backup, they'll try and pincer us in. We use our force to pierce straight through, grab her on the way, and bust out the other side. I'll try and save Grease to cover our escape, if I see backup. Otherwise, all bets are off."

"I agree staying together makes the most strategic sense. If we knew we had the superior group surrounding them would make sense but I would prefer to keep you all were I can see and help you."

She began as they discussed their plan. She checked the load on her pistol one more time, slid a potion vial she had made this morning out of her belt and glanced at the others.

"Let me know when we are going in, I have a few things to drink then i can take the lead."

She offered patting two vials on her belt.

Prior to the assualt
With a shrug she took a quaff of the foul smelling concoction She made a slight grunt of pain and winced... but when she reopened her eyes they seemed larger almost predatory, her features bulkier. She pulled out a blue extract vial and downed it next a shimmer of energy formed about her before disapearing from view.

drinking mutagen to increase her dexterity by 4, gaining a natural AC of +2, then drinking an extract of shield. so effictively her ac will be a 25, her bonus to hit with her pistol a +9

Jack can tell you all that the dogs are looking almost feral, they are trying to bite Zea when she gets close to the food bowl in the middle between her and the dogs on either side.

If no one stated any further actual plans Canacha is liable to just make straight for the uh right side of the bad guys and when in range open fire. Since their last rescue op she is more than sort of full of well our group (and herself) and thinks putting the boot to thrunies is super easy. . . She will listen is anyone wants to make a plan though.

Ok I have moved you up to where you would be to have a good chance at springing an ambush.
As you get closer you can see Zea going for the bowl of food, but as soon as she reaches her hand for it one of the dogs bite it and, she returns to hide in the doghouse.

Even though its beyond her first aim incremement spending an extra grit point to use deadeye (touch AC still the target to hit for the first two increments this round)

It's looks about waist high if you drop in Jack, so at the very least diffecult movement to cross that way. It's hard to really tell before any attemp to jump in.

Canacha gets the ball rolling with a quickshot to one of the thugs back.

For her surprise action, Meliora just walks right over the bridge. She's used to going first, so she plans to use her full action to walk right past them and hope they don't have combat reflexes to AoO her for it.

"Leave the three in front to me. I feel pretty sure that they won't be ready for what I've got. Just stay out from between them 'til after I say it's fine."

Should I also take my first normal initiative turn?

Seeing Meliora rush up Mic quickly gets moving. She pushes past Meliora in between two of the thugs hopeing they will attack her instead of the less robust caster.

Jack's taken aback at just how badly Meliora wants to rush into combat with the CCG thugs. Seeing a bottleneck developing, he switches tactics. Taking a step forward, he sheathes his sword.

"I'll try peppering them with arrows from the south," he whispers to Lena and Canacha.

Moving forward the dhampir gunslinger and alchemist reached down and dumped a small amount of a chemical into a slightly fatter vial then tossed it directly at the mean dog.

"Catch Puppers!"

She called out cheerfully...throwing the vial at the dog.

Mic takes a quick step to clear a path and lashes out with an elbow and backhand at the thug in green.

"Why do this? Huh?"

Seeing the rest of her party dealing with green and blue with enough force to probably take them down, she decides to take a calculated risk, continuing her push forward towards the grouping Jack had shot at. Once there, she gives a small wink to Zea before firing off a color spray to target the orange dog, and the red and yellow CCG members.

DC 16 will versus a variety of unpleasant things, probably unconsciousness.

"Don't you worry too much, now. We'll have you out of there in a jiffy~"

I think you are right Jack this is a pagoda.

Well the blue and green Thugs goes down with bad wounds and seem to be life threatening.The two thugs on the other side goes down and is possibly out the rest of the game. The Cyan dog gets hit by the bomb while the other dog seems to also be affected by Meliora.

Seen it's master go down the dog jumps into the pond to avoid the flames and swim towards shore.

Combat over.

Zea is bound to the doghouse by a chain and the inside of the doghouse nails are sticking through the wood, never allowing anyone inside of it to shift position or otherwise without getting injured. Zea has a few minor scrathes and cuts from being inside and she sits in a cramped position.

"Nice work, ladies," Jack comments, stowing his bow and then entering the pagoda. He lets out a low whistle as he catches his first glimpse of the inhumane conditions the tiefling woman has been subjected to. "That chain got a lock of some sort on it?" he asks, dropping his buckler momentarily before pulling out his set of lockpicks.

Canacha... seeing the others go to aid Zea instead goes torwards the water and crouches down letting out a sharp whistle and trying to coax the puppems closer now that the bad guys arent well... looming.

"Here puppers... I promise to be nice now that all the nasty thrunnies are gone."

There is a lock on the collar around Zea's neck. "I'm not hurt badly, but I will need some time to relax. I would like some support to stand up, I have been in the same position for a day, it's impossible to change position or take a nap in here." Zea says putting on a strong face while her habd is bloodied.
Jack easily releases the lock to free her from her torture.
Canacha can't coax the dog closer to her, she can see it's almost feral and would sooner bite her, than letting her touch it.

You make it out of Aria park just as Jack spots a dozen Dottari enter the area you freed Zea from. Once out on the street Zea begins to be able to walk on her own again. "I think you for your aid, but I must return to the Nursery for the time lying low for a while."

You may do the rebellion phase again as a new week starts once this day you're finishing now is done. Feel free to RP the rest of the day, Ill move you ahead when all are leveled up and ready to go again.

She began to babble... mostly quietly to Meliora, having no trouble with the mage's pace even if she wasnt paying too much attention to their surroundings.
