This aged stable leans slightly to one side, its roof precariously propped up by aged wooden walls. The air reeks of stale urine. Broken desks, scuffed tables, and torn chairs crowd the thirteen horse stalls, all of which are covered with a healthy layer of dust. A grated-off alcove along the southeast wall seems to house the only relatively intact wares.

The livery’s front and back doors are locked shut and chained, but so loosely that a Medium creature can squeeze through with a DC 15 Escape Artist check

Meliora'd crashed over at Mic's as well, and spent part of the morning readying the grease spell she'd used once again, as well as changing out one of her other slots.

Natural healing for the win :)

She stayed at home doing her best to stay quiet and hidden. It wouldnt do any good to let her 'uncle' see her would. She would just get chastised for not being careful enough. The next morning at the livery she did her best to hold back her excitement, though the chain made her frown.

"We want to be quiet right? I could try to blast the chain open with my pistol but it will certainly make noise if I do."

She frowned and looked for the lock, maybe she could pour a little black powder and blow it slightly easier.

Micheria's attack hits the dog on the nose giving it some damage while Jack swings wide past it.

The larger of the dogs bits after Micheria.

The dog gets a good bit on her leg but can't seem to overpower to strong woman.

She didnt want to hurt the puppems but they clearly were not nice puppems. It did occur to her that the new mayor would pay for big dogs... but seeing how he hated mint she doubted they would use the dogs for a real good purpose.... With a sniff she muttered.

She drew her pistol and took a few steps forward before she really took a carefull focused aim at the largest dog and gently squeezed the trigger...

Yeah it was my way of telling you they were more afraid of their leader then you people. Tactics are they run away if they get one hit after the big one is dead, but their health is so low most of you would down them with one hit.

The stable is mostly filled with worthless junk, but you do spot something of value. On a rafter going through the area you spot a platium ring nailed to a spot about 15 feet above you.
Just before the small open area in the back you see a iron gate and all the way in the back there are two rooms where the doors have been romoved or fallen off over time.

Mic looks at the ring when it is pointed out but figures that will wait, she doesn't have any why to get to it. She instead heads towards the southern room.

Jack follows Mic to the gate. There, he puts down his buckler and backpack, rummaging through the latter a bit before pulling out a thin leather case. Opening it, he reveals a set of lockpicks. Tongue hanging out one side of his mouth, Jack starts working his magic on the gate's locking mechanism.
