Meliora Castafiore wrote:

"The Bellflower Network..?" A network of slips who help other slips escape--halflings, she mentally corrects herself. "That makes way too much sense, and if we're planning a rebellion, we could definitely use the tunnels."

Meliora taps herself on the forehead, shutting her eyes as she thinks. Where would one hide a rebel group? The stables are no good as a hideout, they're too far into disrepair and people going to a place like that would gather attention too quickly to be any good. Having an ally in Laria would be helpful too...

"Maybe s'a bit forward of me, but I think I know what we're going to do tomorrow. Most of us are a little tapped out for the evening, but we need those tunnels, and you need someone to check on your friend. Seems like one of those mutually beneficial arrangements, or something. Any information you can give us about what may be down there, or your friend, or... anything, really, would be great."

She blinked. Took another sip of her coffee and then frowned.

"Wait are we starting a rebeliion? That would be so much cooler than starting a series of protests or something... what would you even call a series of orginized protests? A protestion? A rebeletest? Well one thing she knew she would need more bullets and powder if they were going to be doing that. She tilted her head as she finished that thought.

"I should head home then real fast and get to work, like my uncle might be worried and if we are to start some sort of thing... well i need to have more shot prepared."

She began patting her pistol as if that were an explanation.

"Where is 'home'?" Jack asks Canacha before adding, "...if I'm not being too forward. I have a flat in Redroof. If your place is along the way, we could walk together for mutual protection. I'm not sure the city streets are safe yet after what went down at the protest."

I'm not sure if Kintargo has taxi-like coaches for hire or not; that could be another solution.

"Sounds good to me. I need to do some homework anyways."

Tonight's homework: Find a fellow alumni, convince them to peek at their spellbook, and copy down Identify into her own. Most wizards charged 5 gold to look at it, and she'd need 10 more for the inks she needed for her book... and about an hour total to study and copy things. Then, after she got back to her pad she needed to make a scroll up of True Strike... which would be another 12 gold and 5 silver for the materials, and 2 hours...

Including travel time, she should have time to get everything done..? She hoped? At least it could be handled with the money she had on her... money that she'd been planning to use on something else, of course, but. Times are as they are.

"I would only go home if you are sure you can make it there before the curfew starts, since the protest went south the Dottari and Chelish citizens' group have been arresting people for even the smallest things and they are looking for any reason to start a fight." "Thank you. By morning I will be more then prepared to head to our next job."

As the others speak of leaving Mic frowns and weighs her options.

As soon as Jack arrives Mic starts to speak with him,k clearly she had been thinking about this over the night.

"Jack I assume either you or I should be in the front of the group in case something nasty pops out at us? You seem handy at unlocking doors as well. So whichever of us you think is better on point works for me but when, and if, we get to a door maybe you should check for locks and I will be first though for now?"

"Ah, but she's our only healer," Jack reminds himself aloud, his hand unconsciously going to his injured ribs. He again considers Mic's words before adding, "I'm still feeling the effects of the beating I took at the protest from those loyalist fools. She had an early morning to be sure, rising predawn she stoked the fires to the smelter and began, heating the metals until the molten pools of metal were easy to pour in her bullet mold. She was certainly glad she didnt have to hammer any metal today. She was going to be tired enough. She penned a note for her "uncle" merely mentioning she had bell business early today and once the sun was up she hurried her way towards the coffeehouse.... it was certainly a good thing it was a coffeehouse she was headed to. You doesn't notice anything interresting in the storage area but as Laria showed you the secret door and opened it you can walk in a see.

This long, damp hallway opens to the southeast into a large reservoir of calm, dark water. A wooden pier extends twenty feet into the water, while another twenty feet out rises the top half of a statue of a beautiful elven woman. A foul smell, like that of rotting meat, comes from somewhere near the pier. Two holes have been knocked into the northwest walls to provide access to chambers beyond.
