Your no hero, Paullo.... don't get involved. NO don't you do it, I said NO!.

Paullo watches as the inept rioter with the longsword (sorry, Jack.) misses the Dotteri guard I wonder if he even knows how to use it or if it was his fathers. ; in the Dotteri's defense her training allowed her to basically be surrounded and still holding her own.

Blast it..

Seeing his opening Paullo, attacks with his cane as a mere club. (I don't know if you as a DM allow this, I have heard different discussions on this, so take away any penalty you think is fair. and just let me know your ruling for the future. on sword cane as a mere club if needed. or if a -4 penalty for improvised weapon.)

You are essential treating the sword cane as a double weapon if I'd allow it like it is now, if you think it's fair to make it count as a double weapon go ahead, otherwise I would rather say it counts as an improvised weapon and if you later down the line pick versatile weapon feat I'd say you can fluff it to beat him on the head with the cane without drawing the sword.

Paullo that's a hit even with the -4 for an improvised weapon, for ease of play for me remember to roll the damage die also when you attack.

"Are you trying to get yourself killed!"

She called out to man in the cloak hurrying forward and aiming her pistol attempting to hit the thug(red) in front of him. Too much care perhaps.

Assuming a 9 touch is still too low

She cursed darkly to herself glaring at the thug as if her look would do as much damage as her bullet would have had she not missed.

That's a fair question, Jack thought to himself. He didn't answer immediately, though, determined to stay alive and somehow rescue the fellow these nine thugs had targeted. When the spell dropped the three nearest foes, things looked a bit less bleak, and he hacked at the prone fellow before him (Red).

Longsword (vs. human): 1d20 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (11) + 4 + 2 = 17 for slashing damage: 1d8 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 + 2 = 6
