Mic glances over her shoulder and shakes her head.
"Ladies, that is not going anywhere you know. Better to check the corners, make sure nothing is going to bite us in the ass while piled like logs to reach a shiny ring."
She moves in past the gate giving a head nod to Jack "You are full of surprises it would seem. Lets see what else is hiding in the dark of this place." and strides forward though the gate.

At two minutes per 5-ft-square, in a 13x24 area for a total of 312 5ft squares... that'd be 624 minutes, divided by the five of us is 124.8 minutes, or just over two hours if we all split the work evenly. I'd advise against it...
Meliora will aid in the search of the room, though!

Meliora actually discovers an old secret door that is hanging loose on it's hinges opening it to peer inside she sees.
This old workroom houses numerous old slaughterhouse tools, veterinary equipment, and woodworking tools, all of which are covered with a thick layer of dust through which strange tracks and patterns have been traced. Heavy mallets, crumbling ropes, and tools for restraining animals hang from pegs in the walls or rest atop leaning tables. To the southwest, a trap door sits ajar, propped open by a block of wood.
You also see a lot of small tracks around the dust of the floor and a slaughterhouse tool hanging freely in the air in front of you.
The tracks are Grimple footsteps.

"I sometimes find the need to get into places I'm not wanted," Jack explains with a smile and a shrug as he pops the gate's locking mechanism. When he sees the free-floating tool, he warns Mic and takes a swing at the thin air directly over it in the chance there's a thin string causing the item to dangle in mid-air.
Not sure if that requires an attack roll or not, but I'll roll one anyways.

After Jack's sword passes over the butcher knife he hangs for a few moments more before falling down making a big clang against the floor.

"THAT (he points to the butcher knife) was just hanging by itself in mid-air!" he tells Mic. "I was trying to see if it was being held up by a thin string or wire, but it wasn't." After a pause he asks, "Do you believe in ghosts?"
Or maybe magical pranksters? he asks himself as he looks around a bit more carefully in an attempt to figure out the strange phenomenon.

She blinked at the incredulous statement made by Jack. Of course ghosts existed... well ar least back home. Cheliax could have ghosts she supposed too.
" i dont know about Cheliax ghosts but in Ustalav all our hair would be grey and it would be stealing our life essences if there were a ghost here."
She started to inform him immediately she realized she had said perhaps too much her non gun hand flew up to her mouth. She fakes a sneeze.
" or uh... so i read."
She lied.

"Can anyone identify those tracks?" She studies the knife. "I don't sense any ghosts if that makes you feel better." Not that I'd really sense a ghost.
"Does anyone have the ability to see in the dark?" She carefully picks up the trap door, and opens it.

"I can't see in the dark, but I can make it..." Wait, she didn't prepare that today. Meliora pauses awkwardly as she looks back from the tracks towards Lena.
"...I have a torch?"

The trapdoor opens to a shaft with a ladder down around 15 to 20 feet from what you can see. The eye-watering stench of urine and feces fills this large room. Nests made of chewed crates and barrels line the walls, while rusty knives and hooks cover the tabletops.
Please move you tokens around as you explore the livery and the basement.

"A path down. Lets check this other door here first. Those dogs may have been left to protect more then this enterance."
Mic moves to the other door. "Anyone able to check for traps better then I can?"

Micheria you are pretty sure there is no traps on the door and while you are studying it, it opens on its own. Through the door you can see the back of the livery with some old outdoor tools stacked here and there and not much els.

"Spent some time in Ustalav, did you?" Jack asks Canacha casually. "What brought you to our fair Kintargo?"

She moved towards the wagon in the corner more to get away from the question than to really search but she looked about it none-the-less.
"I work at the smithy with my uncle. Mostly filigree and finework not so much the mass shaping...Thats where my family originally comes from that dark smelly place Ustalav, this place is way better... well it was way better."

"I have a torch." She climbs down the ladder, and if nothing terrible happens will light her torch. "I guess that powder and fire don't mix Canacha." Lena's smile is friendly, as if to let her know Ustalav is not a big deal to her.

Jack briefly considers jumping down to the lower level, but even the thought of the subsequent impact upon landing makes him grit his teeth and unconsciously move a hand toward his wounded ribs. Instead he plays it safe, sheathing his longsword and starting down the ladder.

Meliora frowns openly and obviously for a minute. It's gone a second later.
"A-anyways, we should get back to searching. There's got to be something down here, right?"

Mic catchers her breath for a moment and stretches, shoulders poping as she does. Good to be moving like this again. It's been to long since I did more then hammer an anvil to make ends meet.
"Looks like a door over there, anything useful in here before we move on?"
Mic gives a quick once over of the contents of the boxes and what not in the room.

Dirty salt and sawdust coat the floor of this gloomy hall. Bits of the wall masonry have been chewed or clawed away, revealing narrow, winding animal tunnels beyond. Steel rails are mounted in the ceiling, with a few lonely iron hooks dangling from them. A pile of stained pillows and motheaten blankets lies in a ten-foot-square depression in the floor to the northwest.
A rusty, half-destroyed iron grating blocks access to a flight of stairs leading down to the northeast.

Mic approaches the depression in the floor, examining its contents w/o stepping on them. Looking for signs of use or a trap.
