Yeah. It means that spell is never seeing play again. When we level up I'll trade it out for something useful.

Lyr Scarheart |

- two keen +1 shortswords
- +1 returning starknife
- +1 amulet of natural armor
- +4 belt of dexterity
- +3 bracers of armor
- +1 cloak of resistance
- +1 ring of protection
- potions of cure serious wounds and invisibility
Anyone want any of it?

GM SpiderBeard |

Oh interesting - I was about to say "That's just what's in the book" but the book describes it as a 'throwing wedge' with stats like a starknife.
So it's not a starknife, it's a throwing thingy that has identical stats to one.

Beshtori Sankral |

Besh could probably make use of the Bracers, if nobody objects. AC's not usually important to zir, but it couldn't hurt...
(similarly for the DEX bonus, but in either case, if y'all think it's better to get cash, then that's fine too)

Saphren |

At 9000 gp the bracers are significantly overpriced. Better to sell them and enable you to use Mage Armor, which is better AC. Maybe get you a pearl of power or the arcanist equivalent.
The would sell for 4500. For that you could buy a rod of Extend for your mage armor (and two other spells a day) and have 1500 left over with which you 'could' buy two fully charged wands of Mage Armor. But if you really want the bracers I am fine with you taking them.

Beshtori Sankral |

Nah, as you said, Mage Armour is better (and I realize that I have a wand already). Not to mention that Besh is rarely in the line of fire (the last time ze took damage was from Nolveniss's fireball, though I suspect that's about to change...).
Does the same go for the Dex belt? Or perhaps one of you can put it to better use?

Beshtori Sankral |

Definitely best for Lyr (or Zoso?) then - I just wasn't sure if they were equipped with something already.

Saphren |

Its tempting for Saphren but he has a belt already that is almost as good. Whoever ends up with it I might try to trade out belts for tasks that are very dex based to get that +1 to the skill check. But only for that specific task.

Lyr Scarheart |

Go ahead and take it, Besh. I like the idea of you being faster in initiative.
I'm going to have a hard time posting much before Wednesday.

Beshtori Sankral |

Back up to 59 hp, thanks to the healing and Life Link (whew!)
Besh has Haste and Mage Armour active - I think that's all.

GM SpiderBeard |

Congratulations on completing Chapter 4!
However, it's time I share some sad news that I've gone back and forth on.
As you may have noticed my postings have become more and more irregular and I find I need to scale back my PbP commitments. Unfortunately, it means that I am going to finish my time as the GM of this game.
I started in this game as a player five years ago and took this game over from Doctor Evil in spring of 2016. We've seen a lot of people coming and go but I'm super happy to have run this and played with you all - particularly considering Saphren has been with this game since the very start!
I'm sorry to finish up here guys, but completing four AP chapters on the boards is a huge accomplishment regardless. It's been a sincere pleasure running the game over the past few years. If anyone wants some chronicle sheets done up I'll be happy to oblige. Thanks so much!

Beshtori Sankral |

Thanks so much for having me along for this last bit of the adventure - it's been fun, and I've enjoyed playing Beshtori (in various incarnations).
See you soon in another game!

Saphren |

It has been fun. While I hate to see it end I will say you have done a great job and its been a blast.
IF someone wanted to find a GM to continue I'd be thrilled to keep going...
Doc Evil is around again. Perhaps?

Lyr Scarheart |

Thanks for everything, Spiderbeard. I've loved this game.
I'd be happy to continue if we can find a GM, but if this is where the game ends, it's a damn good ending.

GM SpiderBeard |

Yeah, I wanted to hold on to get us to the end of Chapter Four. You guys are f%##ing beasts and it was pretty breathtaking to see you just stomp over the Darklands. It's been a blast :)

Saphren |

You had and often displayed that most important GM ability to be part of the story and revel in the party's victories. It never felt like you against us but it always felt a challenge. Especially Well done in that specific regard GM SpiderBeard.
I'll miss this game. :(
