It occurs to me that we might be missing chances to be interacting with the other servants and those lower than us in station. Might we be able to gather information from the drow we are interacting with?

I was just thinking that Besh would likely be more comfortable speaking with other servants, or with some of the slaves.

lol - yeah, if it isn't Knowledge Arcana, Planes, or Spellcraft/UMD, there's not much point asking Besh about it :P

Mysteries and the like often go flat in PbP so I'll push you to pursue ANYTHING you think is interesting. Some ideas:

- Talking to servants
- Talking to driders (they are sentient beings fully capable of speech, just weird, and Vonnarc has lots of them)
- Finding out more relevant information about the missing driders - the Paingiver is only going to know so much
- Identifying and searching other areas of interest
- Anything you think of

I leave for New York City around noon tomorrow and from there will leave for 11 days in China on Wednesday. I will be back late on Saturday April 7 and begin to catch up on April 8th. And yes I know I just got back from a trip.

I will have an iPad with me (better than posting from a phone) and should have internet most of the time but there are three days that are remote so I am almost sure I will not have internet all the time. The Drashes aren't very big - they moved for around three minutes.

You can spam sleight of hand checks, but I'll limit you to one per drow before Vex incurs some hefty penalties since you can't reasonably pick someone's pocket until they're naked without them noticing.

There are eight drow in total. Each one has a magical potion.

Four have magical wands.

Two have a quarrel with magical hand crossbow bolts.

One has a magical cloak and ring.

One has a scroll case with magical things inside of it.

I think the cloak is too big and obvious for a little dragon, and stealing a ring seems like it would be stupidly hard. I want them, but I don't think I want to take that risk.

Steal the Scroll case?: 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (15) + 18 = 33
Steal another Wand?: 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (7) + 18 = 25
Steal another Wand?: 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (11) + 18 = 29
Steal the last Wand?: 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (17) + 18 = 35

Let's start there and see if they catch me. I'll roll the rest if this doesn't devolve into a chase scene.

We can potentiallly share the wand of false life as it’s a 30 minutes buff. Saphren can use UMB to try to activate a wand. I’ll start building that skill up with his next level.

Oh, I hadn't realized it had such a long duration.
Well, Besh is happy to carry wands around, so long as that's the best use for them.

False Life is surprisingly good. Lyr casts it frequently (it's better cast than from an item, so she doesn't need the wand)

That Mirror Image wand would be awesome for Saphren. You have a +7 now. That's almost enough to Take 10 to activate. A wonderous item that adds +5 to UMD should be 2000 gp (same price as a cloak of elven kind). Might be worth investing in.

Yep. Mirror Image is pretty darrn goood for everybody. I had always planned to max out UMD at some pointt. Time to start. 3 more nights and then I come home. China has been quite the adventure.
