I'm a big fan of bandoliers myself. They can hold up to eight small items and you can equip two of them. And they're a steal for 5 silvers.

Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2

Vyk's rapier glows blue as he prepares a spell, but he is unable to land a blow on the vile creature.

Vincent successfully casts his spell and then swings his rapier around without hitting anything. The creature in front of him continues his assault.
Bite: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8
claw: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (11) + 5 = 16
claw: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8
Vincent remains untouched this time, clearly this creature was impressed with his sword play.
The other creature steps around the wounded Vincent and attacks Tuich.
Bite: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (15) + 4 = 19
damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7
claw: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6

It sinks it's teeth into Tuich's leg while the claws find only open air.

He sighs in resignation to his gooey fate as he hefts his greatsword and tries to swipe at one of the creatures from his position on the ground.

From the ground Vincent manages a death dealing blow with his great sword spattering himself with goo. With only one foe left the tide of battle has shifted in the Pathfinder's favor. You are correct on the fort save Vincent.

Alas, no more shocking grasp. I'm spamming Arcane Mark to get the effect of Two-weapon fighting. It's, admittedly, very cheesy. But a magus gotta do, what a magus gotta do. The spell is still on my sword.
Vyk spins around and stabs the boil beastie in the monsters leg, leaving a glowing stylistic blue "V". He dodges and weaves, casting another spell and then attempts to deliver it again.
SpellStrike, Arcane Mark: 1d20 + 5 - 2 ⇒ (14) + 5 - 2 = 17
Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
Cast Defensively, DC 15: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (8) + 7 = 15
SpellStrike, Arcane Mark: 1d20 + 5 - 2 ⇒ (6) + 5 - 2 = 9
Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
Vyk manages to stab the undead creature and is rewarded with a splattering of pus from the creatures boils. It growls in anger and unleashes another round of attacks with it's teeth and claws.
Bite: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (19) + 4 = 23
Damge: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4
Claw: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 11
Claw: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (19) + 4 = 23
damage: 1d4 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5
It sinks it's teeth into Vyk's flesh and heals back most of the damage from Vyk's previous attack. It also gets a claw in for good messure.

My girlfriend recently started playing Skyrim, and this is reminding me of watching her fight things. She's locked in melee with some monster and trading blows, but every time she gets low she just goes into the menu and eats like a dozen apples and a few wheels of cheese to regain health. I imagine the monsters get frustrated. "She eats faster than I can kill her!" Except that we're using CLW wands instead of cabbages.
Vincent attacks the boil infested creature again with his sword.

Checking out the monolith there doesn't seem to be anything special about it. However when someone touches it they hear a voice in their head say, "The Dark Rider is coming."
Having completed the task assigned the group head back up to the wonderful fresh air and sunlight. Kurse is there waiting for them with his blank stare and goofy grin. "You made it back in one piece, very good the preisstss will be pleassed to hear you were ssuccesssful. Thiss will do the Ssociety well to have a powerful ally in the city of sstrangerss. Now take a few dayss off, you've earned it."

Well, that would suck. But I'm sure I'll simply be able to reskin Vyk. I doubt Paizo would be dick enough to simply murder all Tiefling and Aasimar in PFS. There will probably be rules to convert them into different races. I could just as easily play an elf or human Vyk and come up with a story to explain it.
In the end, A Vyk without his horns will still be awesome. And the best part is... he'll finally be able to wear hats!

I read through the blog discussion thread. As long as a character has 1 XP they're grandfathered in.
So no, you don't get to be a real boy yet. But you do get to continue being lovable, horny Vyk.

Also of note you will be able to make a nagaji, wayang or kitsune without a boon. The factions are changing or merging as well.

Just so you guys know, I'm being totally quiet in Gameplay because a player in another game recently got chewed out for "metagaming" by oocing when their PC was at negative hit points. (GM K, I'm not saying you'd do that -- in fact I highly doubt you would -- the incident just made me temporarily hyper-sensitive to the issue.)
But I'm definitely here, and I'm watching the action.

Is that right? It seems low. I don't know what you came into the melee with, but by my count you got hit for 9+7=16 which, full up, would put you at -1.
You've been healed 6+3+8=17. You failed your stabilizing roll so if I assume another round of loss then it'd be 17 taken, 17 healed... so you should be back where you started. Not sure where that was, though.
Did I miss you taking another hit? Basically, I just don't want you to cheat yourself.

Yep, but this module awards 3xp, so you'll advance to level 3 even if this was your first adventure for level 2.
I had a sticky GM chronicle that I forgot to take into account last time, so I'm at level 4 now. I decided to go with the bard route - I like having the skill points.
Modules like this one give 3 xp. I didn't goof up this time so everyone should be level 3
