Vyk hits the skeleton with a ray of disrupting energy and Garedon follows that with a magic missle. The skeleton stops his Gladiator impression and charges at Vyk attempting to skewer him on it's ranseur.

Sorry I'm a bit delayed: I have a recurrence of some back ache and haven't slept well (despite four Advil, a sleep aid, a muscle relaxant, hot and cold pads and packs, elevated legs...) or been in the mood to sit and type much.

I'm not sure if I should cast Grease or not or just try to keep pecking at it with magic missiles, especially since I would probably have to get in someone's way to do so.

Unsure what to do or where to fit in, Garedon fires another reliable magic missile at the creature.

The following assumes Tuich doesn't somehow manage to heal me on her turn. I'd personally rather you kill the skeleton THEN worry about me.

The ranseur pierces Vincent's armor. His sword clatters to the ground beside him. His vision blurring, he swipes the empty air in front of him with a fist as he collapses.

That was definitely a tactical blunder there on my part. No one to blame but myself. I have a long list of things that would have been a better idea than "run in and provoke from the reach weapon."

Edit: Speaking of AoOs, was the skeleton smart enough to do a 5-ft step back, or did it take a move action?

Vincent brushes himself off. Centuries of disuse seems to have led to a rather dusty floor. "Thank you Tuich. I like to think my end will be a bit more glorious than dying to one who is already dead."

He stands up, feeling much steadier on his feet now. "That's pretty much our job as Pathfinders, Esme. The Pharasmins want us to collect any Pharasmin relics for them. The Society wants us to collect everything else." He glances around the room and examines the skeleton to see what may be useful to take along. He casts Detect Magic to be thorough.
