"Huh. I thought that would have done something. Maybe there's something behind the statue."
He goes to peek behind it.

Now that we're not on Zombie detail, I figure we got the time for Tuich to make another go of it. If not, we can use the Chime. I'm pretty sure we've only used it once so far.

Tuich self-consciously approaches the door. She takes a deep breath as she wrings her hands, then raises them into a brief gesture as she intones, "ఆశా ఫ గైడెన్స్." Guidance, on self.
She then begins to fiddle with the door.

Miko patiently waits as Tuich displays her skills, and takes her 'be my guest' cue as the moment to produce a haunting sound with the chime - hoping that does the trick.

Moving the statue using ropes is just as effective on this statue, though Vyk spends a moment looking at a particular part of the statue instead of looking for the hidden door. After the statue is out of the way it's fairly obvious there is a hidden door here. After checking for traps the door is opened. While this crypt has the dusty, disused air of the ossuary's other catacombs, the bodies interred within it are remarkably free from the ravages of age and decay. Their burial garments have long since rotted away, but the cadavers look as if they could have been placed in their niches only yesterday. Unfortunately, this amazing effect is somewhat overshadowed by the lewd and graphic positions the bodies have been placed in.

"I'll check the door." Vincent announces. He examines the door carefully for traps before opening it.

Vincent opens the door on another tomb. The one thing that stands out as different here is a large glob of congealed fat in the center of the crypt. As the air from the main chamber rushes into this long sealed room the glob of fat begins to stir.

Vyk holds his mace ready to strike the blob while Miko's attempt to hit it with acid only hits a wall. The blob lurches awkwardly forward toward Vyk. As it rounds the corner Vyk strikes it with his silver mace which releases an inhuman scream from the blob as if the mace was burning it. It swings it's ill formed gloppy arm at Vyk.

Well if Victor's pulling back then Tuich is stepping up to the square he was in, to take a shot. Then maybe she can next step back and draw it towards her, allowing Vyk into a flanking position.
