Sorry, all - I thought I posted this in all my games but apparently only a couple of them. I have been in NY for the past couple of weeks with my father, who had surgery last week and has been in and out of the hospital (mostly in) with serious complications ever since. I’ll try to catch up over this weekend because I could use the distraction.

Thanks, all. We got my father back into his apartment on Monday, finally healed enough not to have to rush back to the ER. I flew back home on Tuesday because I had to start making a dent in my work backlog and have been slowly digging out ever since; my wife will be home this evening after dealing with a handful of issues in his apartment and getting the visiting home care aides started. Sorry to have been gone so long, but (and I may have said this last weekend) I expect to get caught up on my PbP games by Monday and be on something approaching a normal posting schedule going forward (except that I’ll be at a conference and probably slow again Wed.-Fri., because I’m one of the organizers and I can’t skip it).

I was single dadding last week so everything was hectic. I have a little more help this week and my wife gets back from her trip next week. I'll keep checking in every few days.

Hi folks, my theory that things would be better in a week was too optimistic. I suspect work is going to keep me from posting for the next couple of months, with late September being the time where I can jump back in. I have a September 21 deadline I'm facing, and there may be spillover / I'll need to recover. I'm really sorry for the trouble.

I will roll with whatever solution makes sense to you. Happy to have my character botted or have my character or just step away from the action temporarily. If you prefer to move on entirely, I'm okay with that too; I don't want to sap the momentum of any of my games.

@Pontia: There is a small opening in the main door. The building are not close but they are not far away either. Besides most people avoid you anyway. How long does your spell last and does it only transmit images to you?

Sorry, folks - my first time with COVID has been pretty nasty, and I’ve had trouble focusing on anything for the last couple of weeks. I’m doing much better than I was, and should be able to post today.

I will be leaving this Saturday to spend the holidays with family. This week has been extremely busy with work, finals and packing. I hope to keep up with the games, but you know how that goes!

It sounds like you will try to knock out the two sleeping acolytes. I have never encountered a situation like that. I can research it, but if any of you DM's out there know the rules behind it, I would appreciate it. Would it be a non-lethal coup de grace?

I think it'd work to run it as a nonlethal CdG.
