It's just that Vivian seems to be the most easily-talkin"-to-others of the group, has nearly every skill needed (with good bonus and lucky rolls) to lead the investigation, is a rogue (so she can figure how a burglary should work)....

I think I'm ready to return, and I'm hoping to resume daily postings. Realistically, my rate will probably be 4-5 posts a week.

I know I just started playing again, but tomorrow I'm flying out to Los Angeles for a few days. After tonight, I will likely not be posting again until Monday. (I've never been to California before-- I'm really looking forward to this trip!)
I am doing a special training thing at work. It is pretty disruptive to my normal schedule, so I don't know what posting will look like for me this week. Bot me if necessary.

Sorry for disappearing again! Between deadlines at work, lots going on in my personal life, and a last-minute trip to Boston, I just haven't been able to carve out time for gaming.
I think things are starting to calm down a bit, and I'll be able to resume daily posting.

Feel free to discuss it and look over Vivian's post on October 19th (EST) for some ideas. I've also include my summary again in the spoiler below. If your character is not interested in testifying, please let me know so we can eliminate you as a witness for this day of the trial.
• The events occurred approximately 1 year ago.
• The villagers state that The Beast was abducting people at night. A mob lead by Lazne managed to wound the Beast in town, then chased him to the local Boneyard. The Beast was attacked by something like alligator and bled on the graves, tainting them. The Beast then disappeared under the water by the alligator-like creature and was presumed dead. Deduction made by group: Flesh Golems don't bleed. Vivian saw no evidence of scars on the Beast consistent with an alligator bite.
• Six graves in the Boneyard are missing bodies.
• The remains of a potion of Darkvision was found in a campsite near the graves. Deduction made by group: Flesh Golems have Darkvision already.
• A coracle was found hidden on the south side of the Boneyard island, dried blood was found at the bottom of it, as well as an oar, a moldy leather travel bag with a damp artisan’s outfit, and what appears to be a detached human face.
• Attached to the coracle is a man-sized sack with blood stains, it contained some rope, a gag, a rusted lantern, a trio of heavy knives, and a rusted shovel.
• Hidden in the same general area of the boat was a leather-bound case filled with fine surgical tools, made of silver with amethyst handles imprinted with a raven.
• The raven symbol on the handle is the maker's mark of Zbraslav Hora and Sons. Hora sold it to Vladka Kostel who works for an auction house named Ledov’s Chirurgery Merchants. Kostel gave a description of the man who bought it there, but you have not yet tracked him down.

I need to know what Tara, Bert, Sophie, and Stefan are going to be presenting, if anything. I'm going to make Thursday the deadline to participate. Anyone that has not responded by then will be assumed to not testify on the first day so we can move on.
Bert can speak about the sack and the stuff found in it.
Tara can present the darkvision potion as evidence.

Amaria and Vivian had some hit point damage from the previous day, but I'll assume it was healed up with sleep and/or Tara's abilities before morning. If Tara has an issue with this, please let me know and we can figure out another way of healing everyone up.
That's fine. I'm sorry that I have been so absent from posting, but I recently was promoted at work, where I went from part time (3-4 days a week) to full time and a manager. As I work in retail position, we are preparing for the holiday shopping season, and the game shop I work in has a abnormally large amount of foot traffic, since it is in the middle of downtown.

It includes Rappan Athuk, Freeport: City of Adventure, Deep Magic, and a bunch of other books that are all well-worth their cover prices.
I already owned about 10 of the titles in the bundle, but I bought it anyway!
Just a note/reminder to folks. Bert is designed to control the battlefield with the use of reach and his combat reflexes. He threatens a wide area and can use 3 AOO per round. Should make it so you all can ranged/spell enemies. I probably should invest in some sort of wand for enlarge, to control even more.
Question for the GM...
Are the Skill Unlock rules from Pathfinder Unchained and the Signature Skill feat in play? And if so, are they available to non-rogues?
I'm thinking of taking Signature Skill (Heal) at level 5...
Yeah, I'll allow the Signature Skill Feat for the skill unlocks. Taking that for Heal would be quite appropriate for your character.
On an totally unrelated note: I just bought my Paizocon 2017 4-day pass and preview banquet ticket.
This will be my fist Paizocon... and the first gaming convention I will have atteneded in over 25 years!
Is anyone in this group planning to go to Paizocon this year?
I don't plan to go to PaizoCon. I will be lucky if I get to go to CppCon.

I'm sorry, I'm sick and feverish. I hope to be better by the week end, but all my (feeble) energy is spend at work...

Hello all, sorry for going dark. The FLGS where I am a manager at had to deal with a case of harassment involving a customer heckling one of our employees and all of the dungeons and dragons DMs deciding to walk out on us. It has been a very hectic and stressful month. As things have finally settled down on my end, I am able to put more attention into my play-by-post and wanted to let you all know that I am still active and interested in this campaign.

Okay, so we got two votes for taking time to bury the bodies and two votes against doing so now and returning immediately to town. Two PC's haven't voted. So, we're at an impasse here unless someone wants to change their vote or someone new votes one way or another.
Bert agrees with stefan about leaving them and either coming back or letting the villagers do it. He doesn't really feel like he gets a big vote in the matters of religion though, which is why he only nodded.
