As it stands the magic missiles are not working because of the shields and the summons wouldn't work either. But please let my wizard ghost have a little fun with those. Yo can either smash them to pieces or ignore them while they try in vin to bite you with their +1.

Because the alternative would be worse (for you). Kill the ghost already so we can get over it.

The room is surrounded by cells which can all be entered. The only problem is that you would have to guess into which one. And that your movement is limited due to difficult terrain.

You see on the map which of the cells have still walls and doors. The ghost disappeared into cell no 13. At least he wen't through the wall there. Let's play hide and seek.

You need 60ft of movement to move through the room vertically or horizontally (on the map. In reality you need fly to move vertically :)

We'll see how that works out. Generally action economy tells that healing in combat is a bad thing, as you can never heal as much damage as you'll get in another round. Only exception is if you have nothing else to do. Or special occasions like when your enemy heals on your bleeding. But we'll see.

I was trying to disrupt the spell thus the readied action.... did I not get a chance to do that on the magic missle? The full force of the missle was exactly what I was trying to avoid with the readied action.

Wow, This ghost is nasty and has a ton of hit points.

By my calculations we did 19 damage to the ghost last fight and 41 damage so far this fight.

Assuming it did not heal between fights, That's freaking 60 damage to a Incorporeal Mage. That is some serious damage that ghost can suck up. No wonder you talked about us dying last time we were here....

We seem to be doing better this time, but it still feels like we have about 2 rounds before the ghost takes me out.

Not going to argue on the points... I just did a quick back of the envelope calculation because I realized we did a ton.

This really does feel like a suitable Nasty fight to end a adventure path book.... Nice job whoever wrote this, and to you GM Foxy for making this feel so nasty.

What's the impact of the net besides the fact that I can't move next to the spider?

If I'm entangled then I need to shoot with my bow at -2 to attack and -4 to dex right? So that's a combined -4 to hit. Go ahead an just tack that on my roll and we can move forward.

Edit: There fixed the action to only be a shot.

Actually due to the time change (Daylight savings ended) we are back on CST for the next few months.

But yes I know the feeling, I got myself in the habit of checking this early in the day and rarely checking after about 3PM my time.

Either this fight really captured your thoughts or you're a very special lot of adventurers. At the table when the last monster's heart has stopped beating everything is stripped to their socks and checked for value. And here you would leave after the Endboss-Fight without even checking.

Don't get me wrong. I don't want to encourage speed looting. But a little meta-gamy looking thoroughly around if there is something would help me unload the hard earned goods (plural) on you. Just as a hint before you run away with the sword you fished out of the prison's swimming pool. Even when you're not too much into diving in there.

I sometimes forget about the looting part of the game when I'm just glad to have survived a fight.

I'm pushing a little just so we don't fall behind the required loot curve. But honestly Grergof could really care less about loot. Helping people or killing monsters, sure, but loot, not so much. Someone else will have to push for the whole looting thing.

Yep, well aware of the required loot curve. Get a couple pluses behind and fights start to go bonkers a few levels from now.

Plus If things get that bad, then I'll pick up craft arms/armor and that swings the loot curve back.

From a meta gaming point of view Stam is at AC16 with mage armor and won't go into melee if it can be avoided. I have a front line sorcerer that could easily beat all the front liners in AC by casting shield and mage armor until mid levels when full plate became an affordable option. Once the ghosts are done with and the enemies become more corporeal the one who stands in first row will need the deflection more.

And for the dagger: Stam could throw it once (I don't think he's going into melee). And with his crossbow he'll do more damage. I thought this mithral dagger is perfect for a front line Barbarian ;)
