Well your character is not a magic guy. Your abilities will be available to you. You do have from the end of the bridge fight till the start of the ceremony 5 hours. So you do have time to upgrade your stuff. But it was more for Femi and Falko who cannot get their full complement of spells before the fight. I also would like to know how long it takes Zophar to fix his suit... Although if you are going to mingle inside the crowd or go through the tunnels him with the suit will make it difficult to move.

Speaking of tunnels: I reviewed the notes, and there are ancient tunnels into the station that we need to be concerned about. I suggest we send people to guard those areas as well as mingle with the crowd.

A technician can repair an independent invention for an amount of hp equal to his technician level with 1 hour of work and by spending money on raw materials equal to 1% of the invention’s cost, or heal them completely full with 8 hours of work and 10% of the invention’s raw materials cost.

sorry, i've been unable to check in for a few days.

we gained level 8? I still have my character as level 6. or did we just gain 7? if 8 then i also get a feat.

also since either way i get a new invention, i will prepare the new one in my hour of downtime. going into a tunnel mission, the only ones i could think would make sense would be googles to boost my darkvision to 120 or a motorcycle. motorcycles are likely prohibitive in tunnels that are right angles so i will go with goggles that boost my darkvision to 120. Although, i could give the motorcycle the maneuverable feature and change directions any number of times per turn at no penalty... but we were being quiet in the tunnels so that probably still doesnt make sense.

not sure on what feat i should take, i could take one related to driving a vehicle (planning on doing so at least once we get back above-ground) or just one to get another invention. either one is good.

Well, your character should have been level 7 up until this encounter since the end of the last adventure (January). Level 8 is the correct level. Don't forget to roll your HP.

I have also decided to withdraw from this game. I have realised that I am slowing down play and negatively impacting on everyone's experience. Zophar is too mechanically complex to work well in this format (with me at the helm at least) and I am feeling a bit swamped at the moment.

Iva makes a fair point. Everyone except Rognar receives a stipend for 9500 gp that they can buy equipment for the raid. I was wondering if you wanted to invite Kvartiy or one of the other NPCs to come along. If not, the King will provide soldiers.
