Looks like we'll be solidly low tier for this one, so let that guide your choice of characters GM Tektite.
Please give the following information for your characters:
1. Player/Forum Name
2. Character's Name
3. Class and Level
4. PFS# (and dash)
5. Faction
6. Day job Roll (if any)
And I'd appreciate a heads up about anything wacky with your character, especially if you have any Immediate Actions that we should work out/are playing slow progression etc.
I'm hoping to start this up tomorrow, so please do have your characters ready.
Also, welcome to Pathfinder, Stowelly! Please reach out with any questions you've got.

Nothing particularly weird about my character. I only have the core rulebook so he is built just using that. his background edges towards him being slightly driven by greed, but I certainly wont be making that a major part of his actions unless it makes sense in the story!
Thank you for accepting me in this. I apologize now for any mistakes I may make. please do feel free to criticize anything I*m doing that doesn't seem right! I certainly don't intend to ruin your campaign with poor decisions!
GM Cwethan
Nevedno and Drorlud, if you could add some snapshot details of your characters to the Classes/Levels section of your profile that would be greatly appreciated. Lynn has a good example if you're looking for formatting.
GM Cwethan
Lynn's one of the other characters. If you look below her name in her post in Gameplay you'll see that she has her hitpoints, AC, saves, and a bunch of other frequently useful information listed there.
You can do that by adding that information to the Classes/Levels section of your profile, and it saves me a lot of back and forth across pages - especially in combat.
GM Cwethan
Below the window where you write your posts is a spoiler titled "How to format your text"
Aside from dice, typical conventions are that you use bold text for in character talking
italic text for thoughts
Light blue/ooc text for out of character comments in the Gameplay thread

Thanks in advance for running this for us GM..I'll play the cleric cause looks like we could use a healer. (fair warning I play him as kind of a jerk..but a funny jerk...most of his cynicism is contained within an internal struggle: he's got serious mommy and daddy issues)...
Only thing really special about him is I may use: boon Fortune's return from Portent's Peril.
You may activate an ability that you did not cross off by checking off the box next to it. Doing so grants
you a +1 luck bonus on an attack roll, saving throw, skill check, or ability check associated with the
corresponding ability score. Apply the bonus before you roll. The bonus increases to +2 if you use if for
the specific use listed below.
The Suit of Hammers (Strength): Sundering or otherwise breaking an object
The Suit of Keys (Dexterity): Picking a lock
The Suit of Shields (Constitution): Fortitude saves or Constitution checks against fatigue or exhaustion
The Suit of Books (Intelligence): Performing research
The Suit of Stars (Wisdom): Avoiding getting lost or otherwise navigating
The Suit of Crowns (Charisma): Speaking to a person in a position of authority

Just seeing how the group shapes up before making a finally decision on which character to bring. But if anyone has a preference I can be easily swayed.
I can bring my level 2 Bolt Ace, nothing to special here jut loves to shoot things from afar.
Or I can bring my Hunter, who brings two melee combatants too the party and some utility.

GM, sorry I forgot to add the PC summary lines on the new character. It should be fine now. Let me know if you want anything else added.
Group, I'm running a medium. So I can channel 1 of several spirits for a given day. It won't out perform a focused build character, but will cover decently for anything we are lacking. We'll see what Tektite and Stonegarde decide to bring before making any hard decisions.

GM another couple important abilities Eamon has:
1. Seize the initiative. (from tactics domain) It let's me or an ally (within 30ft) re-roll an initiative roll before results are revealed. For sake of Ease let's assume every time Eamon rolls beneath a '10' he'll take the seize the initiative re-roll..If he rolls above '10' he will give the re-roll to the party member with the lowest initiative roll. I can do this 5 times a day..(but only once per initiative: ie in other words, I can only do it for one person (myself included) per combat)
2. Honor bound (from honor domain) I can cause an ally ( with a touch attack) or myself (as an immediate action) to re-roll a save vs. enchantment-charm or enchantment-compulsion effects. I can do this 5 times a day.

So, I have rolled a number of actions in my last post. is it right that over a 10 is probably a success for an easy task? wasn't sure if 11 on that religion would give me anything. and im not sure if how I left my statements open was correct? my thought on this is that if I succeed a roll like that then the GM fills in the rest.... but please feel free to prod me when im doing things incorrectly!
GM Cwethan
That's just fine Drorlud.
Typically yes, a 10 will get you easily available information. Knowledge skill checks do have a specific rule that unless you have ranks in them you cannot pass a check higher than DC 10. As for skill checks in general, always feel free to proactively take them, sometimes I'll identify opportunities for you to make them with spoiler tags as well.
Stonegarde, go ahead and check in with either character. I think a Bolt Ace would probably fill gaps a little better than more melee, but they both should fit in fine.

No problem Dror, i hate posting on mobile too so i usually don't x.x Hope your in a good spot to get a new monitor
Abraxi

@Drorlurd
You can certainly add dice rolls together, such as damage and sneak, so if you had a weapon doing d8 damage and sneak, it would look something like this
Damage plus Sneak: 1d8 + 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (3) + (3) + 1 = 7
dice=Damage plus Sneak]1d8+1d6+1
Some people also just stack the rolls if they don't know if the creature is immune to sneak, thus making it easier for the GM to parse
Sneaky Attack!: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6
Damage: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7
Sneak: 1d6 ⇒ 6
As you play in more PbPs, you'll see different styles of formatting and cam eventually decide what you like best for yourself.

Gonna be away for Friday and probably most of Saturday, driving home for the break so mt posting will be a little wonkygonna be leaving in the morning. Lynn'll keep her distance from danger and try the diplomatic approach if she sees room for one in case you guys need to play her for a post or two.

Im terribly sorry if this is getting frustrating for people. im slightly confused by your damage roll though Eamon, do I not get to also roll the extra d6 for sneak attack too? ill do both anyway and can pick the correct outcome!
@Drorlud: If you check in the Core rulebook under the Rogue sneak attack entry, you'll see;
Sneak Attack: If a rogue can catch an opponent when he is unable to defend himself effectively from her attack, she can strike a vital spot for extra damage.
The rogue's attack deals extra damage anytime her target would be denied a Dexterity bonus to AC (whether the target actually has a Dexterity bonus or not), or when the rogue flanks her target. This extra damage is 1d6 at 1st level, and increases by 1d6 every two rogue levels thereafter. Should the rogue score a critical hit with a sneak attack, this extra damage is not multiplied. Ranged attacks can count as sneak attacks only if the target is within 30 feet.
With a weapon that deals nonlethal damage (like a sap, whip, or an unarmed strike), a rogue can make a sneak attack that deals nonlethal damage instead of lethal damage. She cannot use a weapon that deals lethal damage to deal nonlethal damage in a sneak attack, not even with the usual –4 penalty.
The rogue must be able to see the target well enough to pick out a vital spot and must be able to reach such a spot. A rogue cannot sneak attack while striking a creature with concealment.
Generally, if you score a Crit in this game, extra damage dice like sneak attack are not multiplied, while modifiers like Str, ect. are.
GM Cwethan
Nothing frustrating at all, Dror - sneak attacks not doubling on a crit isn't particularly intuitive.
GM Cwethan
Hey guys just a heads up that I'll be pretty sporadic for the next couple of days, especially with anything involving maps.

GM if we have another encounter in this adventure could you please roll initiative for me twice? I made a post about my cleric domain ability earlier in the scenario and how I'd like that ability used but it's been largely forgotten. I understand this is a hard ability to remember ...but if you just default to rolling initiative for Eamon twice it should be fine...(this is my third scenario and not one GM has ever remembered to roll for my initiative a second time when I get a poor result..or one of the other players does...) It's just not an ability that is conducive to PbP I guess...
But it's a good one if I ever get to use it...LOL
GM Cwethan
Agh! My apologies Eamon. I'll put a note in my initiative cut and paste to reference your earlier instructions.
GM Cwethan
Hey guys, I'll be on again tomorrow to post, but I currently don't have access to the scenario! I'm traveling and the wi-fi where I'm staying is insufficiently fast or stable enough to re-download the file. Posting shouldn't be a problem once I've got that sorted, but I'll be on pause until I can get to an internet cafe sometime tomorrow.

the server was crazy today..I lost 3 post similarly scrambled (in 3 separate games earlier today!) feel for Drorlund..

that was annoying, it showed my post. i even managed to edit it and see the edited result. a few mins later the site was down and gone!
was hoping it was still up in my browser to copy, but alas no!, guess at least i didnt lose any critical hits :D
GM Cwethan
Nevedno and Abraxi. If you would turn back up let me know and I'll be happy to forward along whatever you're eligible for as a chronicle.
Everyone else, your chronicles are here!
Hope you had fun!

Hey folks. I apologize for disappeared from the forums on you like that. It is not normal behavior for me. Not an excuse, but I had some major personal issues come up. I won't be signing up for any more online games until and unless I'm pretty sure it won't crop up again.
I hope I didn't disrupt your game too much and that you were able to replace me or press on without me.
Again, I'm sorry.
