I have been having this idea swirl around in my head quite a bit. Using several amines as a basis for starting a new homebrew, such as the following:

'Is it wrong to try to pick up girls in a dungeon?'
'Log Horizon'

Yes. If there were any stalls affiliated with the light temple, he would have spent the money there.


Most of the vending machines are neutral, not belonging to anyone.

PC indicators are above: Jellena, Alice the Dwarf, Yourself, Titus, Board, Delman
NPC indicators: Baris, Tristan,


Waiting on the players now... Ants have acted and most NPCs have acted in Round 2 as well.
Jellena acts last in initiative but you can guess what she will be doing...

Singing, dancing merrily as Baris gets attacked. Alice understands this perfectly.

Since I will be away and if Doorman wants to step in feel free! The ants are standard giant ants. The large ones are guards and the small ones are drones. Dont worry about the second room Baris has that covered. Also the huge creature is just a statue.

I have got this! Ants are easy, as they're mindless beasts. But the dice haven't favored the non-ants..

Augrok as a party member does not quite work. His pursuits would be more of the self-improvement type rather than entering the dungeon, at least at this point. That doesn't vibe with the "party" angle that is going on, at least in this manner.

I'm up for introducing another character, but I came into this with Augrok individually, and that doesn't really work. Apologies.

I made my second character for the exact opposite reason. Alice is my evil little party member, while Circe is my singularity. But I suppose crit-fumbling in front of others is not a good look into self-perfection.

Also, I wonder if someone can run out of a dungeon. Are there any penalties worth considering? Sure, your party members may die, but I'm talking about real penalties.

Not so much that, as he's one of those characters that wouldn't be going into the dungeon without a good reason. Depending on the map, he's very much an "explorer", rather than a "raider". Sure, he'd venture into the dungeon if a misison called for it, but going along with a group for the sake of "(OOC)party" rather than "story" doesn't fit his concept.
