It's in the ability that I can use Inspiration on any Knowledge, Linguistic, or Spellcraft check without expending a use of it, provided I'm train in that skill. I've only used Inspiration of Know. (Local) and (Nature).

Board kind of feels that he's being tested on his loyalty to Baris. I kind of feel that the GM is offering a deity change since I did a class change. Which one of us is right?

![]() |

If you're wanting to suggest I change gods...you're going about it in an odd way. Board is a loyal person. He'll follow his boss. If given reason that is it's better that he follow another God, he'll talk with Baris about it and decide after that. He joined Baris because he respects him and so he would always go to Baris about big things like changing deity.

I have an idea for a new location. I posted it in the SAO doc, but wanted to post it here, in case you didn't notice
I have an idea for a new location: The junkyard (need a better name!): In the game, it was home to bits of old code; buggy items, OP weapons, deleted characters, and whatnot. When Dungeon Crash was just a game, it was inaccessible to players, but when it turned real, people could visit it like any other area. Anything from the Junkyard taken outside the area, will incur penalties (specific penalties undecided)

I'm sorry for a big lack of activity... I'm at a pathfinder convention...as the PFS Venture Captain for Utah. I am GMing 6 tables and doing a panel with Mark Moreland... zero down time and no Wi-Fi. I hope things will change soon.

Looks like my last post got eaten... I'll try and hurry the Ise along.

Thought about the junkyard area again. It'd be cool if it was a secret dungeon area.

Forced March: In a day of normal walking, a character walks for 8 hours. The rest of the daylight time is spent making and breaking camp, resting, and eating.
A character can walk for more than 8 hours in a day by making a forced march. For each hour of marching beyond 8 hours, a Constitution check (DC 10, +2 per extra hour) is required. If the check fails, the character takes 1d6 points of nonlethal damage. A character who takes any nonlethal damage from a forced march becomes fatigued. Eliminating the nonlethal damage also eliminates the fatigue. It's possible for a character to march into unconsciousness by pushing himself too hard.

Thought I read that Baris, Zanthias had profession: massage. Would that make a cat purr?

Jeffrey Flynn |

Done with the character. In like Errol Flynn...
I will come out and say it. I love city based adventures. I am playing Flynn as trying to figure out why this has happened and how to long term survive here. As well as find his father. I see him sliding from chaotic to lawful. He has a 20 intelligence, so he is focused on these issues at hand. Loss of life when the enemies come for Sanctuary is better than leading thousands to die just to show how bad ass he is...
Flynn sees Sanctuary in crisis. The NPCs have waken up to have full identities. Real life people have become trapped inside their avatars. Maslow's hierarchy of needs (wikipedia it) dictate that certain needs must be handled before other needs are focused upon. Food, water, shelter are primary needs.
This leads to a "Lord of the Flies" moment.
Housing in Sanctuary: As Flynn sees it, Garret is good because he is with the Death Temple. Garret could stay there or with the middle aged woman who services Chosen... Board is good because he resides with Baris. Flynn doesn't see anyone poaching that Temple, trying to claim it as property - at the moment, seeing how the Death Temple would not want that precedent set... There are people sleeping in the streets.
The Steel House has met the food, water, housing criteria. They can function in the politics of the city.
The Town Hall is practically empty. The Sheriff God is "claiming" the Town Hall at the moment. Has he been bought by the Temples? Has he given out booths within the Town Hall? The Gods have agreed to lock up a part of themselves so they can manifest on within Sanctuary.
No Guild function was in place. Flynn likes to think of a Guild Row of a certain amount of Houses set up for Guild Houses. Is there a set amount of Guilds or as many as there can be? Flynn likes that there are 8 Guilds that can be created.
The city is 2,500 NPCs. With the addition of Player avatars, how is the economy, housing, and food sources for these people. Are the abandoned buildings being bought by people (NPCs or players)? Are there quests for permission to obtain property like Skyrim?
Anyone able to monopolize of a certain product, such as cheese, alcohol, grain? By going merchant to merchant buying all that product so players have to buy at a jacked up price for the product?
At the moment, Flynn sees that Sanctuary has to become a Theocracy to the 8 Temples. A Council of Temples, with Death as Chairman, having a vote and breaking ties. Unless part of their agreement to be able to manifest is to not be in positions of political power. So in a way, could the Temples hinder the protection of Sanctuary by declining to rule.
Is any government forming while we are in the Fey woods?
There are enemies at four cardinal points. Has Sanctuary sought to create strongholds or vassal cities to block any invasion on those points?

*Constructive Criticism*
Jeffery I think it would have been better to word it this way:
Jeffery takes a few steps back indicating for the others to follow. In a whisper he says to the group, "They expect us to say one of them, but what about something unexpected, such as 'An Alliance' or 'All Three'."
No real need for a spoiler, now if you wanted to pull aside one of the players and talk to them privately your spoiler would have been great or a specific character away from the group. I am just trying to help point out when and how a spoiler should be used, does that make sense?

Jeffrey Flynn |

I appreciate it. Not used to all the PBP functions, die rollers, spoilers, and the like.
Figured spoilers were to exclude someone from reading. Didn't want Purple Hugh to overhear.

GM Wolf |

Since Jeffery has started the encounter I will let him finish it, any questions?
Make your rolls, remember most skills you cannot achieve a DC higher than a 10 unless you have a rank in it. Perception is an exception to this rule.

Jeffrey Flynn |

Thanks for letting me continue. I am enjoying contemplating how to handle the encounter. Makes me appreciate how you handle your main post, then a couple npc posts. Much respect as a result of this.

I will post tonight or tomorrow. I been spending the weekend running to event to event.
Got an outline of a post for talking with Mordiac. I have some prey he would enjoy hunting.
Can we confirm that most players are low in power and resources with a hand full that have beta tested the game, so they have some advantages.
