If no one has any more changes, we can all move our shares to our inventories and I'll make a new sheet.
Auehda, Burnt One |
Nothing has been moved from the first sheet to the second sheet except for party resources (and ex-party-resources like Khonnir's stuff). Every non-party-resource on the first sheet was sold or claimed by someone in our group. If you did not record your share from that first payout, you can add that to your inventory now, yes.
If you want to sell something in your share from the first payout, you can just do so in town for the usual half-price? I'm not sure what you're asking about.
Aeron Woke |
So our of sheer curiosity, are you (gm demonmoose) going to introduce us in the next book or are we going to have to fit ourselves in through RP?
Muga |
Heh, I imagine it won't be too difficult.
Yvell:"Hey, there are dangerous people after Torch. If only we had some appropriately leveled fighters."
Ibuki:"Hmmm... Best check the bar."
Auehda, Burnt One |
In case anyone was waiting for a final confirmation, you have the go-ahead to record stuff in your section of the payout above.
Aside not really worth handling IC: Auehda is selling their five torches for 2 cp.
Muga |
Hey, Aeron, you in the mood for some rapid fire roleplaying?
Because I got an idea.
Perhaps Aeron met Muga, and with her needing/looking for work/something to do with her mentor not in the area, Muga pulled her into his mercenary work.
Then, they're at the Town Hall to receive their pay, at the same time the main characters happen to be there.
We'd just need to spend a little time roleplaying Muga and Aeron's interaction so we know their first impressions of each other
Yvell Endymion |
This is not a bad Idea then again it will have to make sense and Muga doesn't seem to be the corgeal type considering.. Loner. Unless he is forced into it, maybe I'm wrong.
Muga |
His Loner drawback is mostly to represent he doesn't fight with team tactics.
If you'll notice the "Muga's opinions of Other People" thing I did, he's not all that surly outside of combat.
Aeron Woke |
I would love to do that Muga. We can start tomorrow. I currently have to hit the sack since i need to be up at 1 am for work. I should be avaliable tomorrow around 10 to 11 am mountain time. Sorry for the delayed reply.
Muga |
It's a time zone understood among certain circles.
Also, I'm surprised you are attempting a charm on an android. They have significant resilience to those, even when they aren't high level clerics.
Muga |
I also think Muga would get along with Meyanda if she wasn't such a huge inflexible moron. :P
"So.. Your faction needs the literal flamey torch to kill a god, yes?"
"Yes, we must have it!"
"So, can your faction just pay and provide for the village Torch while you're using it for a couple months? I mean, just sell a +2 weapon or something from the next module. Then everybody's happy. We'll even have our technologists help you have it JUST kill the god, instead of exploding and killing everyone."
"..."
GM Demonmoose |
There is no compromise really. She needs the energy from the reactor to power the super weapon. Taking the energy will cause the torch to go out, and also cause the reactor to explode. Without the torch, the townfolk lose their main (only)revenue, which it pays the Technic League not to invade pretty much. Torch only survives through its skymetal smiths and it needs the reactor flame to forge skymetal.

Location, location, location... :D
Aeron Woke |
It happens. We can attempt said "spontaneous" RP tomorrow. Tomorrow i should be available around 1-2 pm.
Ibuki Surtova |
I´m facing a difficult decision.
I decided to only go with Arcanist, giving up on the sorcerer level. Otherwise i loose to many spell levels and since i can´t do much else it´s boring.
Now the question i´m stuck with is:
-Do i take the blood arcanist archetype, gain the bloodline (impossible) and loose some exploits? Obviously, loosing exploits is hurting. But i get the bloodline arcana, which let´s me have control per enchantment and necromancy (debuffs) for constructs (robots).
-Go straight arcanist, have more exploits, but lack that controll and debuff against robots. Could mostly only do damage then, what might be more Aerons, Mugas and Yvells thing, add in Auehda.
Aeron Woke |
Dps is never bad. RP wise though, debuffing the robots seems right up you chars alley. He seems to want to learn and know about them and the ability to debuff can be RPed as having a greater understanding of the "creatures" and being able to effect them thus. Since tou offered a penny for my thoughts, there are my 2 cents with the other going to taxes.
Yvell Endymion |
Hrm well you cn do what you need to do You'd also lose the fat and other things along with that, So its to your benefit either way, Yvell's abilities dont help you too much unless you go unconscious. Or become melee.
Yvell Endymion |
Done That is his rebuttal so you can respond in whatever way you were going to or advancing the plot so that the new characters can eventually join.
Yvell Endymion |
Thats fair, thing is the chance was equally sure the effect would have the opposite because she made the save and therefore would trust you a whole lot less.
Ibuki Surtova |
That´s always the danger, androids get a bonus on those saves anyway.
But then, i can do that several times a day and on each day after, untill she fails a save....potentially.
Then she would be my best friend for a while and probably more talkative and cooperative.
Actually i thought of even changing to a Psion Telepath because of stuff like that^^ Only unsure how that works out with machines. Doesn´t work with undead. At some points i find the Dreamscarred Press Psionics the better system, because it allows for a lot more flexibility, making it possible to go into a caster niche while still staying viable in a lot of other ways, without being overpowered.
Decided to go with the blood arcanist though and will update charsheet soon. The necromancy thing seems quite funny and i can still do some damage with a few tricks. Have that feeling rods are gonna be my friends^^
I´ll run a game tonight (PFS Technic Siege), so i won´t be that available later today.
Yvell Endymion |
Hrmmm.... You make some good points, The way Ibuki goes about it though would reallly rub Yvell the wrong way because he's seen what happens when people delve into mind control just a little in these situations. For story sake lets just assume you do this secretly.
As for Psionics, DSP is Psionics, thats it. Paizo is not at all. Alot of your abilities would not work on constructs at all and quite a few powers dont in general because of Immunity to mind effecting. That and the GM might throw a Psion Killer in for good measure as a Robot.
Ibuki Surtova |
Psionic Robots hooraayyy!
That would be fun hehe, getting close to Fallout°
Actually i think that mind control thing could just suit Yvell as well.
It´s for the good cause and a lot softer than torture or intimidating.
Also it´s not used for bad or evil things.
Ibuki will be borderlining evil sometimes, because there are some necromancy spells i´m planning to use and maybe even undead from time to time. I think it´s a good fit with the AP and the mood of Numeria. Judging by the PFS scenarios i played, there will be quite some undead we meet. I think Valtyra should be able to handle them as well and i´m actually curious to see what tricks Auehda will pull out.
Didn´t play with a druid for a very long time!
Yvell Endymion |
Thing is what you describe is LE, The road to hell is paved with good intentions. Your removing a creatures free will, and as a paladin moreso than someone who is LG thats a big no no. The act itself leads to bad things just like any borderline act. Same as summoning Demons to save an orphanage or better yet, Undead to do so doesn't mean its suddenly okay. Yvell might be a dick but he realizes that doing so is wholly different than going the more humane yet less easy route.. of Diplomacy.
Yvll can be less forgiving for such things as well. He's softened somewhat because of the Party and the presence of Sarenrae that was there but he is still very against evil. If you plan on doing things jut have a plan for opposition to such things, Sarenrae really hunts undead and Ragathiel is much about killing evil. Druids also dont generally like undead either. Valtyra showed in character to be pretty fervent about that. Yvell is cool with Ghosts and other non-evil undead though.
Not limiting you, just telling you ahead of time.
If I made a Psion in this campaign tho it would have been a Shaper, who researches and creates robots with customizations that grew as he learned more.
Muga |
Hell, even Muga isn't a big fan of mind control, even when it saves his ass mid combat. If Muga, tear their heart out and crush it while laughing maniacally(the fluff I was going to use for a dazzling display after a killing Iaijutsu strike), doesn't like something, that's not a good sign, is it?
Auehda, Burnt One |
Auehda is kind of a druid of corruption, so they'll be more okay with undead than most other druids, but yeah, they're ready to let Meyanda go free or else put her in jail. They would not be comfortable with repeatedly trying to override a prisoner's will.
Yvell Endymion |
Jail is fine as long as it is in a different location than Sanvil, I dont need im hearing anything about either or.. Yvell wanted him dead truthfully. He would visit her regularly while teach Phylla.
Aeron Woke |
@Muga: How do you wanna do this thing btw. In the campaign? With spoilers maybe for neatness sake and so the other players don't get mixed up?
Aeron Woke |
:Waits Patiently:
Muga |
The next note was absolutely horrible, like a duck that had just come into the line of fire at cookout.
"Mmmm... I haven't the foggiest idea how to play this thing." Muga twirled the foreign woodwind in his hand, currently resting against a rock, feet propped up on the metal piece, just above the level of the tinted pool. Foreign to onlookers, but not to himself. A recent relic of his homeland he had acquired on his latest work. "Perhaps it'll make a good gift for Mitsu."
Aeron Woke |
What is a Mitsu?
The voice came from close by, though the direction was hard to pin point. Upon inspection of his surroundings though, Muga does see a pair of metallic dots peering up from the water just beyond the metal piece where his foot rested. It was quick to discern that the eyes were merely a reflection. There was someone sitting inside the metal rubble looking at him through the reflection of the murky water.
So... What is a Mitsu?
Muga |
"Mitsu is the name of a child, such as yourself. Young. Doesn't know anything about the world." Muga raised his hands, and framed them around the reflection in the water, gauging what he imagined to be his visitor's height without turning to look. "Fair bit shorter than you, though. Hasn't finished growing physically. I'll admit that your kind grows up mighty quick in that regard."
Aeron Woke |
A blink in the reflection pool offers no real recognition or confusion. Simply a vacant stare. Slowly though the orbs shift and move to the opening, a soft splash issuing from the filthy muck. But when a head was expected to peek out, the tip of a jagged metal rod slides up sliding with an elegant and fluid shift, pointing directly in his direction. A wide brim hat then flops out slowly following the pointed makeshift weapon as a small human child makes its way from the water onto sold ground along side Muga. The child, not seeming more than 8 was tall for his age and thin as a cane stalk with the loose over large clothing accentuating the fact. There was something about this one's movement though. Something out of place.
Noticing Muga held no weapon though, the child took the rod and slid it into a rope belt around its waist. The shadow cast by the hat made it difficult to see details, but the facial structure seemed male, though the light steps and sway of its movement suggested otherwise.
You should find a different profession. Music does not seem to be your strength.
Muga |
"So, what do I owe the pleasure to? Is this your spot I've intruded upon." Muga seemed to be making a point of not looking at the child by this point, instead examining his ragged nails as though they were of great interest.
