Hello all. Derlin is a good hearted missionary archeologist with a bit of a temper. He prefers to frighten and subdue rather than kill with his falchion and intimidate. By day he searches for artifacts around Torch by night he tends to donate his time and strong back as trade at any inn that will agree to such an agreement, paying with precious coin otherwise.
Total front liner.

Starting gold: 2d6 ⇒ (5, 2) = 7
I've gotten super into all the hype about Iron Gods so like Bran I am really pleased to have been chosen! Auehda will probably be the healer and may be the party's diplomatic face, with potential to go into blaster or SoD casting later.
Demonmoose, may we switch around some skills and traits? It appears we have three people with Disable Device and Bran's already got the Local Ties trait covered, but we're lacking a few social skills.

Ibuki Surtova |

Backstory is the same like for Takek.
I´ll port that from the other recruitment thread tomorrow.
Originaly i wanted to do this impossible bloodline combo with oracle of heavens but that doesn´t work.
What i wanted to ask, is crafting allowed? Because impossible bloodline gives a crafting feat at level 3.

Looking forward to playing this with you all. I should be able to post frequently and enjoy RPing for the sake of RPing :)

Yvell Endymion |

Almost done typing it all out, He will have the Numerian Archeologist Trait. Diplomacy and Perception, with a few Knowledge skills. So there is that. Mainly Buff with Teamwork Feats and whatnot, backup healer if need be.

Ibuki Surtova |

Nay not adopted children of Khonnir, apprentice clearly.
I daresay from level 2 on i´ll get most to all knowledge skills quite covered, since my plan is to go arcanist from level 2 to 7 and then proceed with technomancer.
That means, any of you wanna make extensive use of technic items, i can influence them later and removes glitches :D
Barbarian savage technologist and gunslinger techslinger would go very well with that i guess. Those 2 were my alternate character ideas too.

Yvell Endymion |

I plan to take Skald from 4th to 11th so Ill be about as good as well. Which reminds me.. Did everyone do their stats about right yet because some are a little too high or just off, considering we are 20pb

Final alterations:
Traits Flame-Touched, Skymetal Smith (PAPIGPG 9)
Skills Bluff +3 (+2 Cha, +1 rank), Perception +8 (+4 Wis, +1 rank, +3 class), Perform (comedy) +3 (+2 Cha, +1 rank), Survival +8 (+4 Wis, +1 rank, +3 class) Racial modifiers +2 Appraise, +2 Perception to analyze edibles or find hidden objects
And spells prepared today are:
- 0-level (3) - flare (25 ft., DC 14)], light (10 minutes), purify food and drink (1 cu ft.)
- 1st-level (1+1+D) - burning hands (DC 15, 1d4), cure light wounds (DC 15, 1d8+1), cure light wounds (DC 15, 1d8+1)

Yvell Endymion |

We have three front line.. a divine and an arcane caster.
Eventually I will be support as well in the form of Teamwork feats and buffs. But basically that is what we have.

Auehda, Burnt One |

Looks like we have an all-good party so far. That hasn't happened to me in a loooong time.
Side note: What posting density are you all planning on? I'm on PDT and should be available throughout the week (odd times between 8 am and 9 pm on weekdays, all day on weekends). I average between 2 posts per week and 4 posts per day, depending on the game.

Don't want to dictate what class to play but the Life Oracle may be a better "solution". Maybe a Life Oracle that focuses on range, don't know.
The only reason I say it is due to the the Paladin not getting any spells for a while and Lay on Hands won't come online until 2nd level. The druid can heal but has to prepare healing spells to cast so not as flexible. An Oracle could spontaneously cast heals as needed while still providing support and what not. After we get past the first part of the AP, we can shore up healing with wands and what not so it may not be a big concern. I'm wondering about this initial part where things tend to be most lethal.
However, it is also true that we are missing ranged options, so I can see the wisdom in a zen archer or some other ranged build.
These are only my thoughts. Feel free to play whatever. Just figured I'd throw out my 2 cents.

Ibuki Surtova |

I´m chaotic neutral.
And would vote for the oracle too, because divine is missing.
Ranged is already covered by the paladin i guess.
If ranged the savage technologist asrchetype or gunslinger techslinger could thematically fit more i think.
Also want to point out that probably we meet a lot of constructs and robots and those tend to be neutral, just saying.
Have no clue how many evil enemies there will be in this AP.
Guess that´s one of the riddles to solve in the story!

Auehda, Burnt One |

Are Yvell and I not divine enough for you? :P
Anyway, I'd be content with any of the three Vahanian was thinking of. A range-focused strix fighter would be pretty versatile.

We have Divine
Im not sure where you got ranged from Holy Tactician, considering I am not putting much into it. Those types of ranged are good, they however have class abilities put toward something Im not sure we even get early enough.Im pretty sure a nice amount of the Technic League arent good, but that won't matter as overall it makes little difference.
Now on the Strix all I could say is, if your flying you should probably get real good, because winged flight needs some high fly checks at low levels not to get screwed, especially if we are in tight quarters.

Ibuki Surtova |

Ah seems i confused that with another archetype. My apologies^^
Might be ture on the technic league, i don´t know yet.
Just wanted to point out the thoughts about robots.
I do guess there are some guns early on, most probably timeworn stuff that only has some uses. As technomancer i can use all firearms later on.

Yvell Endymion |

Alright I've done all my stuff for the weekend (Sunday is catch up on sleep and homework day) I have work for about 5 hours then I'll have everything up for Yvell and join post-haste

it's all good Ibuki :) My posting time varies, I check a few times a day on my ongoing games and sometimes I go to bed rather late and end up posting between 3-6am my time also (est US)

Yvell Endymion |

Im eastern its just I have varied times in which I am at work, which has no internet connection and is a gas station.. so busy busy.. I tend to work the graveyard shift.

Yvell Endymion |

That is basically what another campaign I have had the pleasure to be in for about 2 years now has been. painting a picture with the imagination is something for sure.

Yvell Endymion |

Is he allowing that trait (Optimistic Gambler) considering its a campaign trait from another campaign.. which technically you cant have as they are the same type of trait?

![]() |

I assumed so, it's been on the sheet since recruitment submission. I'm also under the impression that Campaign traits are open to any non-PFS character as long as you own the material the trait printed in. I'll be glad to discard my drawback + Num. Archeologist since those were added after my character was approved (after asking permission) to help tie my character to the setting if thats what our mighty GM asks of me. RAW it's fine to use any printed trait outside PFS as far as I know, its an incentive for players like me who also DM so that we keep buying APs to run and add traits to our option list.

![]() |

But yes, Blade of Mercy and Optimistic Gambler were my initial 2. If you don't want me to be a Numerian Archeologist (which I picked up with my drawback just to fluff me up a bit and tie me to the region.) I'll pick up Berzerker of the Society to replace it if you want me to and throw a skill point in Linguistics next level to fudge me understanding Androffen early on (Num. Archeologist granted that) No worries

Yvell Endymion |

Its more the base rules for traits assume you not picking the same type of trait from the same category RAW. It was to prevent I guess placing too much in one area of traits ( A fighter picking two combat traits for example)And campaign traits, well some are more powerful than normal traits for a reason generally because they tie you to a portion of the story. For example the Finding Haleen trait (HP and Skills you say?) from Legacy of fire or the Trapfinder trait from Mummy's Mask. The ability of said traits are far above what they normally are.
I also noticed some of the PB's are like.. 25 instead of 20 but in some cases it was just the stat sheet being different from the profile stats. Oh generally your character has to have a Campaign trait from the campaign your in too. I will say however, the Additional traits feat... is a really nice feat.
