.......... Dwarven Ruins Basement - Area 1 Monument Chamber ..........
Ruthviren spins around with his hammer in response to the charging kobold and destroys the creatures head with a mighty swing.
Bhoors quickly changes target and send an arrow thru the other kobold's heart.
The last kobold quivers on the ground begging for it's life. "No Kill!! No Kill!!"
.......... Combat Over!! ..........

Bhoors Thistledown |

Bhoors looks about the room to make sure things are as secure as possible. He turns his attention to the corpses searching them.
perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (20) + 6 = 26

DM Giants |

Searching the bodies you find. Three sets of small Leather Armor, three small spears, five small slings with 15 rocks, a hand full of various coins totaling 9 sp and three small gems.

Auxavier Atredies |

"No kill sounds good kobold. What is this all about?"
Aux goes with an open ended question.....I know diplomacy takes time, but I will go ahead and start rolling...
1d20 + 7 ⇒ (1) + 7 = 8
Maybe not......

Bhoors Thistledown |

Bhoors stowes the coins and gems leaving the other gear behind.

Bhoors Thistledown |

Bhoors makes regular checks looking out each doorway.

Serila Gudlinck |

Serila's sleep spell goes off, covering the only surviving kobold.
DC 15 Will to resist
"We'd better not interrogate it here, its yelling may attract more. Let's drag him upstairs first?"

Bhoors Thistledown |

"If we are going upstairs missing sentries is not as alarming as corpse sentries."

DM Giants |

The kobold falls asleep. Roleplay what the group would like to do with the kobold.

Ruthviren Etiole |

"I'd say move on. Tie it up. Can we have a look at he doors, see if we can find a track of the children?"

Serila Gudlinck |

Serila will remove the kobold's belt and ties him up with it. She then stuffs his mouth with the clothes of another kobold, and uses the other's belt to tie the sleeping kobold's mouth shut.
"Okay, where first? There?" she asks, pointing at the room closest to Aux.

DM Giants |

Ok which way guys?

Serila Gudlinck |

If no one else has another suggestion, then I say we head the way I suggested we'd go.

Bhoors Thistledown |

"No sentry to the south. They may not use that way."

DM Giants |

.......... Crucible of Offering ..........
At the center of this large stone chamber is a deep pit filled with molten slag and sizzling blood that casts a hellish red gleam on the walls. Three narrow chutes open in the ceiling directly above the pit. The air here is oppressively hot and thick with ash.
Serila, I am going to assume you have your Dancing Lights Spell up at all times.

DM Giants |

DOuble doors to the north, then?
Yes sir. The pre-written description of the room forgets the exits most of the time. I will try to remember to add it in the future.

Bhoors Thistledown |

Correction I meant east but its irrelevant. I assumed up was north. but the legend is west.

Bhoors Thistledown |

Bhoors looks around the hot room. Doors here.
Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (6) + 7 = 13

Serila Gudlinck |

@GM: Yes, seems like keeping them up is a sensible thing to do :)
Serila follows Farid and helps him check the doors.
Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (2) + 6 = 8
"Farid, you're just looking at that tile over there, but I think we should really spend more time looking at this tile over here."

Bhoors Thistledown |

"This might be why they had no sentry guarding this doorway."

DM Giants |

.......... Dwarven Ruins Basement - Area 2 Crucible of Offering ..........
A pallid, slimy, worm-like creature the size of a human, its mouth a sickening tangle of tentacles and hooked jaws drops out of the flickering shadows of the vents above attacking Farid as he inspects the door. The creature snaps with its beak tearing flesh from the barbarian's shoulder. Farid takes 3 damage!!
