Farid is able to scale the first 10 feet easily.

Climb Skill :
With a successful Climb check, you can advance up, down, or across a slope, wall, or other steep incline (or even across a ceiling, provided it has handholds) at one-quarter your normal speed. A slope is considered to be any incline at an angle measuring less than 60 degrees; a wall is any incline at an angle measuring 60 degrees or more.

A Climb check that fails by 4 or less means that you make no progress, and one that fails by 5 or more means that you fall from whatever height you have already attained.

It will take you 8 successful climb checks to reach 80 feet. If you use the rope to tie off each 10 feet then you chance to fall in nearly zero. You get a +2 to climb with your hook.

Darkmoon Wood

The party hastily moves on from the monster infested Elder Darkwood Tree thru the woods toward the home to the witch Ulizmila.

Knowledge(Local) DC 20:
Rumors placed with Ulizmila are she was a monstrous hag and great, great granddaughter of Baba Yaga herself, the deathless Witch Queen of the North. She is said to have the power to kill with a word, turn a man into a goat, and to shoot lightning from her eyes. None dare look for her cottage, and woodsmen who venture into the wood and fail to come out are said to be victims of the witch. Other stories tell of a wise woman and practitioner of the old ways. While some said others knew her as a harsh but wise sage willing to share her wisdom for strange and often morbid prices.

Ruthviren, Auxavier and Bhoor automatically know the Local rumors of the witch.

There is about 2 hours until sunset and Bhoors guesses the Witch's Hut is about and hour away according to Milon's directions and map. Please decide as group if you would like to move on to the Witch's Hut or rest and go in the morning light.
