I just leveled Pai. Quick question, what is the most expensive magic item she can buy at third level? I never remember what that chart says, and I'm away from my books.


"Enigma Vaults" is the next level. It is tier 3-5. I'll probably run it if enough are interested.

    This is based on your Total Prestige, not level. What's that sitting at?

    I've always been a little confused by that chart. Is that a total of all non-standard magical item costs or a limit on each individual item?

    For Example, with 10 Fame, which is correct:
    2 items worth 1500gp each? (That would amount to 3000gp combined)
    or...
    2 items worth 1500gp combined?

    Each individual item.

    A character with 10 fame could buy ten 1,500 gp items if they had the gold or reason, but not a single magic item that costs 1,600. Unless it is on a chronicle sheet that is.

    Mundane items are always available, as are +1 armors and weapons so your fame does not count in regards to those particulars. You can buy an alchemist lab at level 1 if you have enough gold.

    To expand the above, items made of Mithril and Adamantine are in the above list, so a set of +1 Adamantine Fullplate is legally purchasable at character creation (if, somehow, you had the 16,500 gp.)

    Cool. I'll wrap up this module today and try to get Chronicles out by tonight.

    Hooray! 10 games! I'm dangerously close to my 3rd star, though I've ceased DMing anything PFS until I figure out how Item Tracker Sheets work...

    Sidenote: Turg is leveled to 3, as is "Useless" Snave. I can summon Augmented Summon Pugwampis now! I might feel bad if I summon Pugwampis with all this melee, but I can.

    Ha, I meant as a player. Turg shouldn't be making any kind of rolls, because that sounds like real work. I now, more awesomely, have Augmented Mites and can summon 1d3 per SLA now! Hooray!


    I dropped a couple pugwampis and a single gnoll on two of my players in a 1st level pregame to Kingmaker. Man, that was fun.

    I need to sit at an internet capable machine that doesn't have a work firewall before I get chronicle sheets dl'd (which is astoundingly hard when you're as lazy as I am and the only home connection is "tether my phone"), but I accessed it just fine via mobile.
