@Cats. For the last couple days I wanted to drop this note telling you how good of a roleplayer you are. Your characters are vastly different and I get the pleasure of seeing three alternate characters because of PBP. A perfect example is your last "fly off the handle" by Kast post. It was polar to how Wren or Vanyan would react. You write so differently for each, and you always keep in character.
Keep up the good work. A talent agent should find you and make "the big discovery" .

I've been thinking about this compliment since yesterday, and it still makes me happy.
Thank you. I try.

I feel very fortunate to have every player in this game. This book of the adventure path is a slow burn, but it gives a lot of opportunities for character development, and you guys have really leaned into every twist and turn.
Also, no spoilers, but you guys are getting into the last part of this book and big things are coming.

Lol. As if it’s just been a dancing walk through the tulip forests so far. Man, I still have a hard time getting over the crying eye door from book 1.

@ Mariner, it's funny you mentioned that --- as Rob/DM RAH texted me something when I showed him the D & D flyer from my kids middleschool.
Yup, Dork-Con always happened on Valentine's Day weekend.... and the game rooms were full!

Quick Clarity. Jasper never actually threw a punch.
I just love this confrontation, where BB is standing there like he's really contemplating a fist fight.
As all of you well know (in and out of character) he's a paper tiger right now.
I have such a strong mental image of this scene Cats with this lightning quick reflexes type stance a bit wary of BB, but also flexing and giving kissey face expressions to the woman.
Then Fearless comes up like the kids at school when there's an "afterschool showdown", trying to egg it on. Jazzed at the excitement and certainly having a preferred victor, but wanting the fist-ti-cuffs to last at least long enough to be entertaining.
I'm so excited out of game. I may just run around the block because I'm so hyper about this mental image of this campfire square off.

Hey guys I have a favor to ask. As a side gig I’ve started working on art and maps again (I used to do them often years ago). I’m trying to get some movement on the social scenes with content on Instagram and Artstation.
I just started running an experiment on Instagram that I’m dubbing Roleplay by Reels! If you have 30 seconds, check it out, play along, and share it to all your Nerds!
On a separate but similar note, I’ve been wondering about doing an edited audio recording (maybe to be a podcast reading?) of this Strange Aeons campaign. I think it’s one of the best games with the best players I’ve had the luck of finding and I think it would be worth listening to. Does anyone have any thoughts on this?
Also, last thing, if anyone has some contacts or friends interested in this sort of thing, please send them my way!

I'm ALWAYS down for something like this RAH! You know I have the silky smooth phone voice that would do BB proud. I FULLY AGREE that this is my favorite game and adventure by far. You have been a superb DM and Rand and Tyranius are the best players I've gotten to play with. ALWAYS in character.
Just the creepy stuff that set the tone....
As an aside, Glasscannon is doing Delta Green and Cthulu... and it gives me chills it's so good.

Makes me wish I had Instragram.
Both of these things are neat and I'm happy to help.

I just want to say... that to this day I still laugh my butt off when thinking about how Fearless gave BB a uni-brow. I also laugh hysterically as I picture the Starfinder crew at the International House of Bacon on Eox. Ala the famous diner picture with James Dean (Boulevard of Broken dreams) with each of our characters supplanting an iconic actor.
AHHHHHHH these are the times when roleplaying enhances real world living and makes you smile.

"Cats" |

Omg, I totally forgot all about the Twin. And thanks to Fearless for the link and reminder.
Maybe in a week or two, DM Rah, you'll point out some of those foreshadows? I don't remember everything and it's probably been weeks/months since those shadowings.

WOW, BEST ADVENTURE PATH EVER!
I know GM is probably adding a lot of these extra's to what Pathfinder did. Props to GM!
I also want to give another aside props to this AP being so PERFECTLY Lovecraftian - even down to the quotes you just uttered. It really is a great twist to normal Pathfinder.

I'm listening to music and there's song lyrics that seem to fit perfectly with what's happening in our show down with the Mad Poet in the Dreamlands.
I don't know if people can guess the song and or band without checking "the Googler", but I am always impressed with music trivia -- so:
With sand in my heart and clouds in my head
I thought about us both and the life we led
From pages in a book and pictures on a screen
We make ourselves like clay from someone else's dream
One second, you are cast just like stones at my feet
But I am not a king, please don't worship me.

I love how The Mariner has traveled on a sailing boat that travels to space, been to the moon, gone against mind bending creatures-- and just been handed a book of great mystery......
and his brain thinks it it's probably gay porn.
Damn I laughed at Cat's and Mariner's reactions. So funny.

Will try to have Kast updated this weekend. Apologies for the delay.
Brother, hard to say crafting will work well as we're always traveling, but the GM might feel otherwise. Would look at quicken or extend spells, but maybe that's just my wish.

Okay, I'll take Craft Rod vs improved channel.
The quicken and extend spells seem solid and intriguing, but not exactly a BB/Jasper build.
Rods are phallic and BB is perfect to embrace a phallic power feat. Seems in character.

@ Fearless.... damn funny. Really damn funny. But as I say that... Jasper will go to the alchemists merchant cart and pick up a fine bottle or two!
P.S. I think the first Rod I can make might be one for Fearless.

I got to wake up, drink some coffee and laugh so very hard at the two posts from Fearless and Cats. The fact that Fearless started in book one worried that EVERYONE ELSE was trying to kill him, only to have him trying to kill himself all the way in book 3.
I'm also super thrilled at Cat's post too. It made me howl with laughter.
It is a badge of honor that my detestable Fat Cat Cleric still invokes vitriol after three books. It's hard to maintain a character that fellow PC's disgust when the cleric class is usually a bonding agent. I mean, it's hard to dislike the guy that heals you and buffs you. Yet, Brother Butterfly is that brand of A-hole. I revel in how good you guys are at roleplaying! Thanks!
